Dolly Parton is so cute I'll never forget an Interview YEARS back on Larry King, where he asked her if she gets a lot of stigma for having plastic surgery and she said "I look them straight in the eye and say, Well honey it costs a lot of money to look this cheap" She's amazing I love her.
Dolly is a national treasure. One of my favorite lines of hers, came from her character Truvy in Steel Magnolias, "Time marches on, and eventually you learn it's marching across your face." I also love the line, "If you can achieve puberty, you can achieve a past." But I think one of the best lines came from Olympia Dukakis' character Clairee, "At her age, she should be playing beat the clock."

I can’t believe Mama June didn’t make this list, I’ve been hoping the doc would do a video about her and explain what the heck happened to her neck. After having bariatric surgery, she also did a bunch of cosmetic surgeries at once - breast implants, tummy tuck, lipo from her neck, loose skin removal from her upper arms and belly. But the fat kept returning to her neck and she’s had some kind of implant or something which is uneven and looks awful, and her ears look weird from where they’re stretched from her face skin. And now that she’s gained a lot of the weight back, her lower arms are swollen and bigger than her upper arms, because the reduction was only in her upper arms.
I always have that fear of Mama June's neck. It haunts me in my nightmares. Seeing hers return after so much plastic surgery makes me scared, as a normal person relying just on diet and exercise!!

I think it’s incredibly sad that all these celebrities have so little confidence in themselves that they can’t allow the natural aging process to happen. They always look much better before the surgeries. And yes, it is their own choosing to do it, but I think the majority of them made very life altering mistakes.
Sadly, the entertainment industry doesn’t agree with you. Too many people in that industry still correlate talent with how pretty someone is. Also, even if they’re retired, the entertainers are possibly stuck with that mentality from when they were younger, when they had to constantly stay pretty to stay relevant and get work. As someone who used to wear a 36 K bra before my reduction, I agree bigger is not always better. My reduction was one of the best decisions I ever made.
Pam seeing her recently in that netflix documentary is amazing how she looks now, she looks loads more natural now, and has a a lovely hippy look going on, i was truly shocked she clearly took a positive turn
yes Michael had patchy vitiligo and used treatment to even his skin out. he explained it himself. he also suffered from lupus which I've heard makes it even harder to heal from surgeries
I hate when they compare photos of famous people that are past their 50's with their photos of when they were in their 20's😂😂😂 I mean, Cher looks great, I've always thought she has found great surgeons because she doesn't look over done at all.
+ It makes no sense, was the comparasion supposed to maker her current self look bad? They did a great job at keeping her most recognizable features, she totally looks her 20yo self who has been aging gracefull, which is the whole point?
Phyllis Dillard was an earlier advocate for cosmetic surgery and treatments. She was very open about the work she had done including some that didn't go well. As a gal with natural DD cup size I can confirm back, neck, and shoulder pain. I last wore a 32 B cup in the 7th grade. You also cannot wear certain necklines without looking like a pin up girl at family Xmas and my kid's birthday parties. Large breaststroke really are not much fun.
Same here, last time I wore a B cup was 7th grade. I’m a 36 DD for the last 24 years, they went up a size as soon as I got pregnant with my first son. I’ve actually visited a plastic surgeon about reduction surgery because I’m getting bulging discs in my upper back.
I have vitiligo, but am rather light skinned (who am I kidding - I'm quite pale!) so it's hard to tell. My aunt, who has darker skin like my mom, also has vitiligo but it's much more obvious. The worst part about vitiligo is that it is often accompanied by other autoimmune conditions. That same aunt still has most of her hair, but I lost all mine in 1999 to alopecia universalis. We both have some internal AI conditions, but that's a topic for another day!
Gotta love how they found a picture of Dr. Youn on the internet, where the "Y" is cut off from view on his coat, and so they just assumed his last name was "OUN"
I went to the same plastic surgeon as Michael. Although the staff there was not supposed to talk about patients, one befriended me. She said Michael got the cream to bleach his skin because of his vitiligo, and it was getting worse.
Pete definitely should have made the list. He was such a treasure. It was sad watching his life just swirl down and spiral. He was so sad with himself and so lost. I saw pictures of him and thought he resembled Cher with all his surgeries. He was so beautiful to begin with.
@@El_Ophelia I agree, he was very beautiful, it's sad that he didn't see it. I think he might've been better off had he never become famous and had all that money to throw into plastic surgery. Sure that wouldn't have erased his body dysmorphia, but at least he wouldn't have died a premature death or ruined his face. He would probably still be alive, living somewhere in England leading a quiet life and hopefully happier.
I agree with Doctor Youn about Pamela Anderson. If she's had anything done, it's likely less invasive and more natural. I just don't see any evidence that she's gone overboard with whatever procedures she may have had done. She still looks lovely and is aging gracefully.
Dr. Youn!!! Any possible way you could explain the longitudinal study finding a significant increase in death rates among participants using tretinoin? I love how retinol makes my skin feel but am worried I’m overlooking something, thanks so much, love your content!
Jocelyn Wildenstein's photo from when she was young blew me away with how much she resembled Brigitte Bardot! She was absolutely stunning, and it makes me sad that life made her believe she needed to somehow improve on her incredible natural beauty.
What people dont understand about MJ, was that he had 1 or 2 botched procedures and the rest of the surgeries was an attempt to get it fixed. He had a successful rhinoplasty, reconstruction on his scalp and thought he had his chin done. Then went for a few more and spent the rest of his life trying to get it fixed. Ive had 4 rhinoplasties. Ive released most of the scar tissue but my nose has gotten cold and hard. That could happen to me too if I keep trying to get it fixed with non plastic surgeons.
I feel sorry for people who look at themselves and think they see all these imperfections in their appearances so they opt to have plastic surgery. In my opinion for the most part, it's hard to improve with mother nature. I also found the clip amusing when the commentator was mentioning Dr. Youn and Dr. Youn 's reactions to her comments. It reminded me of his reactions that he did to the butt injections on ''My Strange Addiction.''
Agreed. To an extent I think breast augmentation can help in certain extreme circumstances, but none of the women here seemed to be in those circumstances - and most of them went overboard to the point where they had overinflated balloons under their skin.
I knew a girl with vitiligo desease and the patches on her skin grew bigger and bigger, until her entire face was white by the time I finished highschool. But the white skin had always a bit pinkish
Hello Doctor :) I'm pretty sure that Cher has had at least 2 nose jobs. When I was a kid watching her on TV, she had a rather large, sexy Roman type nose. Then when she started her solo career she had it operated on and it was a drastic change. Much smaller and took the humps out of it. Then later on she had another one which made it too small. This was I believe sometime around her appearance in Moonstruck or afterward. I have always heard that singers weren't supposed to have nose jobs because it could affect their singing voices. Apparently she didn't care or whatever. Autotune helped her after that.
Cher doesn't need autotune. She's used it in a few songs and actually pioneered its use, but she certainly does not require it, like the little pop "musicians" and "rappers" of today. Rap was once great music to listen to. Now it's all autotune shite.
6:28 that before and after of Cher..... she LOOKS like herself, just older. i think that's some amazing plastic surgery then. enhance not totally change crazily. like, even for people who had MORE done to look diff... it starts to get lost and crazy when they deviate from everything they had before. and i think it can cause the loop of endless surgeries....
Personally, I will never understand why women want breast enlargements. I am a G cup and I hate it. They are uncomfortable, I look horrible in everything I wear, they get sweaty underneath and that can smell, so I have to wash underneath all the time. This means the skin gets sore and splits which is so painful. I would love to have small breasts!
On Carrot Top, some of the structural changes to his face look to me like the result of using moderate doses of anabolic steroids and growth hormone, rather than any plastic surgery. Even the lumpiness of his skin could be the result of androgenic acne scars. Nothing wrong with that, I use TRT myself, it’s pretty common for guys over 30 or 40. I personally wouldn’t touch GH due to the risk of diabetes and family history, but I know enough gym buddies who do use it and have seen similar results in their facial features.
On Heidi’s reality show the showed the consult and her plastic surgeon recommended getting everything done at once so she’d only undergo anesthesia once. Never heard about her heart stopping but she did say the pain was horrible. Especially her breasts so a few years ago she reduced them and has way less back pain now. Sad that she thought she needed all that done.
She looked great after her first nose and boob job. I think she got these right before the 3rd season of the hills. She looked like herself just a better version of herself. The 10 surgeries she got later was insane.
6:00 I TOTALLY AGREE WITH THIS DOCTOR THAT, CHER SHOULD NOT BE IN THIS LIST BECAUSE, SHE LOOKS FANTASTIC HER DOCTOR OR DOCTORS ARE AMAZING SHE LOOKS GORGEOUS SHE LOOKS WAY MORE BEAUTIFUL TODAY AT 80 YEARS YOUNGER THAN WHEN SHE WAS 30 YEARS OLD!!!
Pretty sure the pic the cat woman shows as herself as young is actually Brigitte Bardot. There are a couple of other photos of her that are more believable, and I think she was stunning!
I really don’t understand people wanting big breast implants. Why?! I’m a DD and can confirm, you get all sorts of back, neck and even shoulder pain. I have bulging discs in my upper back from my boobs! Why would you purposely elect to have that?! 🤦🏻♀️ Actually, I’m not sure why people want anything done… Aging sucks, yeah. I just turned 50 this year. I don’t look 50, but I don’t look 20 anymore either and I don’t think I should. Honestly, the only parts of me that are looking rough are my sagging boobs (thanks kids), my 16 years post menopausal jelly belly (I lost my ovaries), and my eyelids are a bit saggy. And if I could fix any of them, I’d do my eyelids, but I don’t care enough about it. Aging is part of life. I’m wearing it like a badge.
The only plastic surgery I’m looking to get is the excess skin removal on my arms after 150lb weight loss so 8 can buy the proper size tops. Since manufacturers don’t make the sleeves bigger around after a certain size for women, I have to buy 2 sizes bigger for room for the skin but then the body of the shirt is too big. I’ve also had shoulder injuries so the weight from the skin pulling on my shoulders hurts.
Possible topic for a future video: I just read how older adults should avoid the long term use of “anticholinergic” medications which have been shown in some studies to affect memory. Two of the common ones I had been using as a nightly sleep aid are Benadryl and Nyquil type meds. From what I can tell melatonin is not an anticholinergic med, at least it wasn’t shown on the list. Sleep is such an important part of the overall equation, and for those of us over 50 sleep can be elusive causing us to reach for sleep aids that may be negatively impacting our memory. Have you heard anything about these studies that you could share with us in an upcoming video?
Try cannabinoids as a sleep aid. Eating pistachios or dark cherry extract could also help as they contain good levels of bioavailable melatonin. Organic sesame oil from an ayurveda chemist, massaged into the chest, arms, shoulders, neck and face will put you in a deep sleep. Melatonin up the back passage is the best way to absorb Mel. Good luck with your sleep
Because we look at ourselves on a daily basis- we get desensitized to how we look- which is what happens to people who get plastic surgery which is why noone ever EVER gets just one and it is just a matter of time before it all goes downhill but because of desensitization you don’t even realize it
Thank you Dr Young for all your videos. Just to mention that the photo of young Jocelyn is in fact the photo of Brigitte Bardot who has'nt have an plastic surgery. Keep up the good work, I really appreciate all of your videos. Sorry for my english, I'm a frenchcanadian .
Beautiful yes but it’s still a condition. Having a condition isn’t negative. There’s people who have two different eye colors. Beautiful but still considered a condition.
I'm surprised that Larissa from 90 Day Fiancee isn't on that list. She really went over board with the plastic surgery. Her body dysmorphia really took over.
Cher is absolutely beautiful. And besides the beautifully performed surgery, I actually feel like the weight she's naturally gained with age is very flattering. She's a hot grandma' with great "age appropriate" (the best way for me to explain iy, even though it dos'nt really cover it) curves. It looks naturel and healthy. I honestly dont think that Pam should be on the lidt. She's absolutely beautiful still... actually to me, even more beautiful than the "Bombshell Pam" that broke through on Baywatch. I know Dolly dos'nt look as naturel but I love her sass when it comes to surgery ("If I can nip it, tuck it"... ). We all know she had 'em but she carries herself so well with it.
15:58 The Lion lady’s “younger self” picture is of Brigitte Bardot, a completely different person and famous French actress…. Did the editors of both videos not catch that? Also, Youn is awesome but if he thinks they have resemblance… one must question everything!
She said Michael was best known for his changing looks.... I beg to differ. He was an amazing entertainer with so much talent. His looks were really an afterthought for me.
I wanna know why people's faces become 100% round after these procedures. I realize we need volume to look young but when older people get these procedures done their whole face becomes bloated and gives this signature look of, "I'm old and I've had work done" I'd love for my face to have more volume (I'm in my mid 30's with a collagen disorder) but not at the risk of having a moon face.
The young photo of Jocelyn Wildenstein is not her. That is the photo of young Bridgitte Bardot. Content creators should research properly. I mean seriously, Bridgitte Bardot was a legend, she was the french bombshell, she was the definition of beauty. How they didn't recognize her. Also look at their eyes, Bridgitte has huge dark brown eyes, Jocelyn has natural green eyes.
This is on the video you’re reacting to that reported Farrah had an allergic reaction to lip filler, but Farrah Abraham tried lip implants because she was tired of constantly doing filler and that’s what happened in that photo.
The picture of “young Jocelyn” is actually a picture of Brigitte Bardot. These women do not look like each other at all.

@@hhuodod2209i did and now i miss mu old nose getting a revision next year
Pam seeing her recently in that netflix documentary is amazing how she looks now, she looks loads more natural now, and has a a lovely hippy look going on, i was truly shocked she clearly took a positive turn
yes Michael had patchy vitiligo and used treatment to even his skin out. he explained it himself. he also suffered from lupus which I've heard makes it even harder to heal from surgeries
It's also a package deal with vitiligo. Not always, but more frequently than not.
I hate when they compare photos of famous people that are past their 50's with their photos of when they were in their 20's😂😂😂 I mean, Cher looks great, I've always thought she has found great surgeons because she doesn't look over done at all.
I hate that as well. Come on. No one looks like they did when they were 20!
+ It makes no sense, was the comparasion supposed to maker her current self look bad? They did a great job at keeping her most recognizable features, she totally looks her 20yo self who has been aging gracefull, which is the whole point?
Priscilla Presley is another one who had a botched surgery... I'm really surprised she didn't make the list
Dr Youn's sarcasm makes his videos awesome 😂😊
Phyllis Dillard was an earlier advocate for cosmetic surgery and treatments. She was very open about the work she had done including some that didn't go well. As a gal with natural DD cup size I can confirm back, neck, and shoulder pain. I last wore a 32 B cup in the 7th grade. You also cannot wear certain necklines without looking like a pin up girl at family Xmas and my kid's birthday parties. Large breaststroke really are not much fun.
Phyllis Diller? Loved her!
I'm not on TikTok so hadn't seen Janice Dickinson recently but OMG the resemblance to Kaitlin Jenner is crazy.
Cheers was subtle with her nose scaled down, and small breasts enhanced but not too big. She only enhanced the looks she already had. Great job.
I saw a surgeon on TV years ago who described MJ’s nose as “end stage.” That always stuck with me, an end stage nose.
And yes, that is not Jocelyn in the before picture of her. That is definitely Bridget Bardot!
That was terrible, how could they have made such a big mistake. Bridget Bardot should sue!
It def looks like Bardot.
That's YOUN, not OUN!!! LOL😄...ohhhh, Dr. Youn, you crack me up! Love you to pieces!
"how do you make your eyebrows go up like that?"
Shave em off, and draw em back on 😂
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Jennifer Grey didn’t ruin her face but her nose job caused her to loose film work. Her profile was iconic.
Dr. Youn, your thumbnails are hilarious! Just the look on your face made me laugh so hard. Thank you.
Thanks for the video Dr. Oon! 😂❤
The only issue I had with Cher’s plastic surgery was the nose surgery. It gave her a longer upper lip and this weird “pinched” nose.
Donatella Versace looks like Mickey Rourke😂
I'm surprised Pete Burns isn't on this list. His plastic surgery addiction was heartbreaking :(
Pete definitely should have made the list.
Same here, I was expecting to see him on here
I agree with Doctor Youn about Pamela Anderson. If she's had anything done, it's likely less invasive and more natural. I just don't see any evidence that she's gone overboard with whatever procedures she may have had done. She still looks lovely and is aging gracefully.
I think carrot top has also done anabolic steroids, and that's had an influence on his facial appearance.
Yes he got ripped on 'roids, and was the subject of many a National Enquirer article back in the day :))
Dr.
It WAS Brigitte Bardot! I’ve seen her before pictures, and she did not look like that.
That WAS a picture of Brigitte Bardot 😊
@@hayleygolding4187 oh hahaha, I thought the resemblance was insane 😂
And frankly, plastic surgeons perpetuate this myth.
Lara Flynn Boyle was missing on that list. She really is now a totally different human.
That Josalyn woman towards the end "young " picture looks like a picture of Bridgette Bardot
The photo at 4:14 reminds me of Leela from Futurama.
I was thinking someone from the Simpson's...
Omg! Yes
Cher looks great. One of the few who still looks recognizable and not overdone.
Dr. Youn, I appreciated your positive words about Cher! 😘 And Pam Anderson. ❤️
If you look at Pam Anderson at the time she was discovered, she was naturally beautiful. Compared to now, just sad.
I think the whole Kardashian family should be right up there in the ten rating!
Fr!!!
“Nope, no work. I’m just this ugly” - Donatella Versace (probably).
Because women with small breasts are doomed to a lonely, childless life.
@@DopamineDecor that's just a blatant fucking lie but ok
@@manxhornet I’m a 32 DDD, and that’s too much, although not really uncomfortable. I think a B is a good size for most people.
@@DopamineDecor I don’t believe that for one minute.
I love this guy! So much personality and fun facial expressions and reactions!
16:04 The photo on the left is Brigitte Bardot.
You are so much fun!! Love your personality.
I really don’t understand people wanting big breast implants. Why?! I’m a DD and can confirm, you get all sorts of back, neck and even shoulder pain. I have bulging discs in my upper back from my boobs! Why would you purposely elect to have that?! 🤦🏻♀️
Actually, I’m not sure why people want anything done… Aging sucks, yeah.
Love you Doc, you are the best!
Wow. I hope he reads this. I've been taking Benadryl every night!
Christy Brinkley was the first person I’d call a supermodel. I never even heard of Janice Dickinson before now, but I don’t watch reality TV…
You’re so funny Doc 😂 I loved this one!!
Because we look at ourselves on a daily basis- we get desensitized to how we look- which is what happens to people who get plastic surgery which is why noone ever EVER gets just one and it is just a matter of time before it all goes downhill but because of desensitization you don’t even realize it
That was a bad photo of Pammy. She looks amazing today. And not too different from when she was young.
Ya. She didn't do that again that's for sure..
I agree, Cher looks absolutely fantastic!
Where's Mickey Rourke in the list??
Thank you Dr Young for all your videos.
Just to mention that the photo of young Jocelyn is in fact the photo of Brigitte Bardot who has'nt have an plastic surgery.
Keep up the good work, I really appreciate all of your videos. Sorry for my english, I'm a frenchcanadian .
CARROT TOP needs to be cast in a live-action movie as CHUCKIE! He is scary...
That last one should have been referred to a psychiatrist instead of getting surgery. Shame on the doctor who performed these procedures!
I dislike us calling vitiligo a condition. To me it’s like having a different eye color. It’s beautiful just different
Oh- that’s sad to hear ❤
16:05 when they put a photo of brigitte bardot and tried to pass it as the bride of frankenwildenstein i screameddddd
Wheres Lil Kim?
Pam looks like Pam. Which is just fine. Imo she is still beautiful and very fit. Legend, she's Xennial's version of Marilyn
I can't stop laughing and smiling. This is great because every time you are mentioned your face is Priceless!
15:58 The Lion lady’s “younger self” picture is of Brigitte Bardot, a completely different person and famous French actress…. Did the editors of both videos not catch that? Also, Youn is awesome but if he thinks they have resemblance… one must question everything!
Its hilarious when they quote you! I'm rolling! 😂😂😂😂
The picture that is said to be Jocelyn Wildenstein in her youth is actually Brigitte Bardot,
Dr Oon, one of my favourite doctors on UA-cam
I am surprised Pete Burns is pretty much never on these lists, he looked amazing before his surgeries, which were clearly a lot
Dr.Youn...curious to know you thoughts and opinions regarding the older reality TV show "The Swan" ?
Jocelyn showed a photo of Brigid Bardot in the 50s. hhahaha
This is on the video you’re reacting to that reported Farrah had an allergic reaction to lip filler, but Farrah Abraham tried lip implants because she was tired of constantly doing filler and that’s what happened in that photo.
