In my opinion This Harley motorcycle is well-suited for the average Indian customer when compared to the Triumph 400. It addresses the demands typically expected by average Indian customers. These demands include a long, straight pillion seat that accommodates the posture in which Indian women often sit, good fuel efficiency, the ability to carry grocery bags on the sides(hooks in the back😂 and many in the handle too) , and long-distance comfort. Congratulation and all the best Hero HD! Although this is not a head turning bike, still a nice bullet! We expect soon a bike to compete with Himalayan!
They should start with cruiser... we love bober style from HD.. that's why RE became popular... if they release 450, 600 and 1000cc cruisers they will be huge hit.. it will become big competition for RE in India.. we will also have options to choose
great initiate by hero and HD. I wish the after sales service is provided with the expected quality so that they could bring the RE centric buyers to try new motorcycle. Also I hope this motorcycle gives the exact vibe of the actual harley davidson which was nearly a dream to most of the middleclass Indian youths. Happy business HERO HD ❤🎉
Hero Harley nailed the usable power and torque with the long stroke engine that is the DNA of HD motorcycles. It's a daily bike people will love it in the long term. But Triumph speed 400 looks the same like Duke 390 and Dominar 400 that takes lot of difficulty in city rides, to be ridden in first or second gear only because of high RPM.
Is no one gonna talk about the love that Royal Enfield has received in foreign markets without needing to collaborate with any of these international brands…? That’s truly a testament to an Indian manufacturer’s commitment to quality, and how it has paved the way for other companies to do the same. ❤
The fact that it’s being called the “most affordable harley” is what might hamper the sales. It’s primordially what went wrong with the nano, might be a similar case with this as well.
loyalists will never stray. But India is different, I am confused to buy this or Triumph Speed or a used/New Car like Kwid/Readygo😂😂... We exist.. I couldn't even buy Nano... There's always us.. So yeah, People like Me will be so happy to not spend 7L for the cheapest HD anymore 😅
I have rented out the X440 for a couple of days. What a fun bike, gets you access to all of its 27hp and 38 nm without complaints. Smooth as butter, just a hint of vibes beyond 5k rpm to let you know it is not meant to be revved out. Great suspension too and fun on winding roads. Had much more carefree fun compared to when I was on the CB350RS / G310GS and the Speed 400. Just wanted to leave this comment here if someone is thinking about how it is and could not judge from a showroom test ride. Try to rent it out if available in your city and have a ball. It sounds great too in the helmet.
Every time a big bike is launched in India: this is RE killer or RE is in trouble. Why we need it to compare against RE? You like it, buy it. Don't waste time debating, motorcycles are meant for riding.
Even the bring back 500 the price would be 3 lakh as the wouldn’t like classic 350 price close to 500. HD played the same game as RE give old technology with cheap price. Hero is even better in cost cutting than RE. Now waiting for bajaj tieup with triumph.

Great work sir .. Thanks for all the information . But I have one question like after purchase, who will be providing the service of the bike ? is it in Hero service centre ?
Thanks for your perspectives. Few quick questions (a) how is the engine heat compared to say a Classic 350 or meteor (b) gearing is short (classic) or tall (CB 350); and (c) Suspension quality ?

Its performance is similar to the RE Classic 500 rather than the classic 350 e.g. Harley Davidson 440x makes 27hp and 38nm and RE Classic 500 made 27hp and 41nm so fairly similar performance kudos to Harley for killing RE man 😌🫡and it's Designnnnn mannn it's so hawttt 🥵🥵 i am quite liking this mini batmobile ✨✨🤩
I think I have made my mind over RE to the X400, thank you Autocad.❤
Congratulation and all the best Hero HD! Although this is not a head turning bike, still a nice bullet! We expect soon a bike to compete with Himalayan!
It will capture aisan markets as well... I love it🖤
All badge difference aside... This is a pretty spectacular bike for the price its being offered on...
They should start with cruiser... we love bober style from HD.. that's why RE became popular... if they release 450, 600 and 1000cc cruisers they will be huge hit.. it will become big competition for RE in India.. we will also have options to choose
Nope
They already tried that once and left India
Kindly update on after sales service and will Hero take care for after sales Service ?
Royal Enfield now got some real competition. Now they can sit back and enjoy. Real development in bike is must
great initiate by hero and HD.
RE is British by birth...😂...just that it got acquired by an Indian company.....shifted their base to India..and got Indian citizenship 😂
Design, tech and upgrades over the years are all Indian!
Nice Representation..! 👌
Well Done..! 👍🏻
Already became my dream bike 😍
Your verbal skills...enhanced its review sir..... you got a nice grip on vocabulary....thats what made this video more charming....😊
Mody ji really brings out the love, enthusiasm and attention to detail for bikes 👌
Hi Rishaad.... happy to see you reviewing my favorite bike.... Regards.... Super Senior.....
Hey Rahul. Good ol JGI days
The fact that it’s being called the “most affordable harley” is what might hamper the sales. It’s primordially what went wrong with the nano, might be a similar case with this as well.
Harley is on the edge of bankruptcy because their customers are old people. They need this money with affordable bikes to attract youth
loyalists will never stray.
But India is different,
I am confused to buy this or Triumph Speed or a used/New Car like Kwid/Readygo😂😂... We exist.. I couldn't even buy Nano... There's always us..
So yeah, People like Me will be so happy to not spend 7L for the cheapest HD anymore 😅
Perfect entry for indian markets.. built in india.
This bike is fabulous it has everything ❤❤. Now it will be in reliability and availability of parts
Hero is managing it so Don't worry 😎😎😎😎
This honestly is so incredible, so excited for this and speed 400
Max torque kick in just 4k rpm. I guess while riding this machine this is the best thing to have in India.
Every time a big bike is launched in India: this is RE killer or RE is in trouble. Why we need it to compare against RE? You like it, buy it. Don't waste time debating, motorcycles are meant for riding.
Waiting for a drag race, modifying especially the exhaust!😎
The classic 500 had 27.5bhp and 41nm@4000rpm torque....
If RE brings the 500cc engine back, we'll have to say bye bye to Harley Davidson 👋🏻👋🏻
Seems impossible though
RE now focused on 650cc engines...So 500 cc days are over
Even the bring back 500 the price would be 3 lakh as the wouldn’t like classic 350 price close to 500. HD played the same game as RE give old technology with cheap price. Hero is even better in cost cutting than RE. Now waiting for bajaj tieup with triumph.
😂😂😂😂
Have you lost your brains 😂
Even with big numbers that engine barely reached 120
And the time from 80-120 was like 7-8 seconds 😂
That UC just felt like it was going to shatter anytime soon!
Let’s bring that Hathi and race it with this beast!
Trst me u will be shocked n at the same time ashamed to what u speak about 500 😂
Lol 350 cost same as Harley 😂😂19 bhp
Finally Royal Enfield Aaya market me and Harley Davidson AA Gaya Apne aukad me
Love u RE
This looks like a good and capable bike for no matter where you live and ride.
The Black looks WOOWWWWW
Future xpulse 400cc.
What a beautiful small Harley bike from Hero.
Feel good factor for any bike enthusiast is there is some vibration happening in market..! Triumph , harley , aprilia , ktm with 400cc’s …
Waiting for RE to do wonders in pricing for new Himalayan
Really a very nice bike from Hero + Harley a beautiful machine.
In the last, the exhaust took me.... Fabulous... Surely want to have this beast...
Nice bike 🤔 The people hating on this bike must be Enfield and h'ness owners.
im hness owner, and i dont feel any hate on this bike, cuz Hness never makes me feel to get an upgrade so far🙏. cuz for 2.5lac on road, its just an amazing bike with most refined engine and 38-40kmpl,and bluetooth, traction and 140+ top speed. so the bike satisfy what it offers, and atmost itsHONDA💕
@@LoofiX24That's good bro, I think one can appreciate a good product even they own another product. This Harley is very good and so is Hness and Enfield.
I am a meteor 350 owner and I too like this bike. I still prefer meteors look and the low riding position of it, but I really like the engine of this bike. Anyways, overall, I will prefer RE only because of serviceability and easy availability of parts.
@@SurajSinghTomarArya i accept and love most brands, but I'm not into RE. I never felt a refinement from it's engine so far and the 350cc engine never reflects on it's performance and even meteor gives vibration once it cross 80. RE have to work more on there engine ig in future they will do it. Still Japanese engines are way better compared to Indian builds, like Suzuki and Honda😑
1. It should have central stand -- it's needed to work on Chains and also to wash or wipe it well at home
2. Back Rest & Windshield is a must
3. Seat needs to be reworked with more cushioning & comfort.
4. It's a must to have a Digital Dashboard with maps displayed from Mobile
....@5:50 " Hero done a great job"....now to see for Bajaj.. Triumph,
By heart always inclined towards British than American
Lol😂
Your English is impeccable!
Great work sir .. Thanks for all the information . But I have one question like after purchase, who will be providing the service of the bike ? is it in Hero service centre ?
Awesome review....👍 So, crisp 💫
😊🙏
Hness is on another level with exhaust sound and Max speed also...
The seat height from 5'6'' guy was very helpful. Thanks a lot
The xpulse 400 will have the same engine retuned of course with roughly same power figures.
Not really... 400cc and 440cc... Big difference. Btw both the bikes have different engine
@@shubhamsaha4057 either way we'll be getting an xpulse 400 which is awesome news for our Indian motorcycle community.
@@ascaniomarak1561 indeed
Only HD can match the engine heart beat of RE.. ❤ sounds amazing
0:28 was that really a compliment?..
Harley,Triumph are aspirational and hence special. Lets see how these affordable ones turn out.
Good bike,good pricing.Nice review.
Kudos to Hero and Bajaj,my next bike 🤩🤙🏼
Thanks for your perspectives. Few quick questions (a) how is the engine heat compared to say a Classic 350 or meteor (b) gearing is short (classic) or tall (CB 350); and (c) Suspension quality ?
Rode very early in the morning to be able to tell anything about heat. Gearing is nicely spaced out. Sixth is a tall cruising gear
Engine heat is definitely much lesser than the classic 350 after a ride of 30 min( both). Working in hero R&D...
Waiting for comparison.
Hero should make a fully faired sportsbike with this 440cc engine with around 140-145 kg weight
Already in the pipeline 😉 will be launched by the end of this year
But if u r making a 440cc bike, u can't have less kerb weight!!! Especially between 140-150kgs. At top speed the machine will fly 😂 it has to be made a little heavier
A rebatched Hero .... Proud to be Made in India product
Great review, thank you. I think the real competition in the RE Classic 500! They are so similarly specced. I would like to see the comparison and ready to offer my 500 for it! I would like to hear your comments.
Seriously? I too own tbts500 and this one looks quite amazing though
Harley Davidson X440, what I really liked about this bike till now is
Hands down
That
That
38 NM Torque 🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯
I think it will be like a ‘Punch hitting on face’ to a rider who is familiar with long stroke engine!!!
Can’t wait to drive this
And the exhaust being standard just look how loud it is @ 8:26
And the camera man is still away from rushad!
The bike is definitely seems like a Beast and surely a tough competition
Just eager to see its actual performance against the competition
so glad for more bikes in the 250 to 400 cc segment. if not anything ktm will stop hiking prices as they please 😄
Customer of KTM is mostly young population (biggest market) that's why.
the exhaust comes really close to the ground while cornering.
Royal Enfield are the masters
Hero is learning from Harley Davidson
Bajaj is maturing with Triumph
And I am loving it ❤❤❤
Good days ahead for Desi Motorcycle brands.. 😊
Many companies tried to bring products to counter royal enfield but were not able to do so. Let see how this goes
Looks sexy !! This is aspirational 😍😍 The brand matters and now it will sell like hot cakes😍
Was waiting for this one😊
driving posture is commanding, i like it.
For me the front looks somewhat like a Husqvarna, that's definitely a plus in terms of front profile looks.
I'm looking forward to this... Osm motor bike
My initial feeling is that Indian do not like high revving engines, they like clam and stress free engine. And I feel Harley has understood it. Triumph is high revving bike, may not be liked by all. And after all Indian are obsessed with classic bikes. Harley might actually outsell triumph even after being expensive
Great Review 🔥
Every one has bike choice's Which they are Comfortable with , But Made In India Bikes Collaborate With Overseas brands Makes Us Proud to Ride with which every bike brand is it's about rivalry in Bike Segment and Brands but can differ in price for Reliability and Comfort for Indians.
These overseas brands need to trap Indian market that's why tie up, so they have only R&D, they won't afford to risk money & produce, all this can be sorted out by Indian cos without wasting time.
Hey is this bike good for absolute beginners?
Why isnt anyone comparing this to Hunter 350. It's a clear market rival in terms of looks and specs. Are they afraid that sparking such a debate will only ruin their reputation?
