Holy crap I love this! I wish I had the complete concert of him playing. He sounds so unbelievable! I could sit and watch him play every song he ever wrote just him on acoustic. Thom Yorke you are amazing!
I have watched this before because I love this man so much. He is do gifted it blows my mind. I love this song too and it just hit me really emotionally right now. I am in awe watching him play with his eyes closed and knowing where the cords are AND he always strums or picks the right strings. Fucking genius!
I might be wrong I might be wrong I could've sworn I saw a light coming on I used to think I used to think There was no future left at all I used to think Open up, begin again Let's go down the waterfall Think about the good times and never look back Never look back What would I do? Should I be worried that I can remember Thom's lyrics better than he does lol. If anyone else messed up their own lyrics I'd probably shake my head in dismay. I can't help but laugh and smile when Thom does it... which is pretty often! He seems to get lost in the songs, which I suppose is what helps make him such a mesmerising performer.
Thanks so much for this, I was hoping someone would take a better vid than me, my rubbish camera didnt do it justice,, beautiful song this, was a great show wasn`t it
...not to destroy your moment in youtube top comments, but it's not that hard to figure it out. It took me about 20 seconds, I highly doubt it will take you a lifetime.
why is he sliding his hand the whole way up the fretboard ? he ain't strummin nuthing way up there ? hopefully you know what I mean ? I can hear his finger sliding up and back but WTF ? Anybody that can play this song on guitar knows what I mean.
He’s voicing a really, really subtle bass note to start each riff. Sometimes A, sometimes B, sometimes D. Sometimes on the dropped D string and sometimes on the open D string.
I looked at the guitar the entire time - Thom is a very tight rhythm guitarist. Great performance.
His sense of time is unbelievable
it wouldn't take a lifetime to learn the notes, but a lifetime to make it sound any decent. he makes it look so easy.
It's a pretty easy song.
Exactly. I'm amazed at how great he makes this with just guitar and voice
why would it take a lifetime to make it sound "any decent"?
try it to know your such a dick
one of the best live performances of this song
fluffy Thom!!!
You're never wrong, Thom!

This song will forever haunt me. Brings me back to such a dark time but kinda changes my perspective on that period

The way he plays that with his eyes closed. I can't even wipe my arse with that much precision with them open!
Amazing!

@dave80ize yup!
@iRECKONER because he wants the sliding sound to be heard
Como le hace para tener precisión en el salto de cuerdas de la mano derecha?????

@crushedratio It's actually not too complex... I can send you a tab if you'd like :)
@iRECKONER Well I can't, we can only assume.
I wonder what it is for you to learn a song if you can't find that lick..
Hey,just feel it:)
Don't be too serious:):)
@crushedratio easy dood watch his hands...feel it
why is he sliding his hand the whole way up the fretboard ? he ain't strummin nuthing way up there ? hopefully you know what I mean ? I can hear his finger sliding up and back but WTF ? Anybody that can play this song on guitar knows what I mean.

Actually he is Kurt Cobain
Well... Not really. Just listen to the song and play along. You will never get more out the guitar than what you put into it.

two pull-offs? It's just bit on Amin pentatonics... took me 1sec. You just have to learn the very basics of the guitar.
