@@toyah6459 Yea.....that's the POINT. I was a pledgemaster myself senior year. There is a method to that intimidating personality when dealing with pledges. You have to take a group of young guys, many of who were hot shots in high school like jocks, popular guys, brains, etc. Basically the ones who were used to getting all the attention and accolades. You need to break them down to make them realize that they, too, are vulnerable and are not all that and there is a greater common good than themselves. Once you accomplish that, then you build them back up and teach them how to be good brothers. Those who don't won't or can't get blackballed.

Third, it's NEVER referred to as a 'frat.' It''s ALWAYS the 'fraternity.' Saying 'frat' is considered disrespectful and an insult. Finally, pledgemasters NEVER strip a guy buck naked as 'punishment.'
