the iPhone introductions were only at WWDC in 2008, 2009 and 2010 (for the 3G, 3GS and 4 respectively) - the rest have been at separate events, later in the year from 2011 (4S) to present, with the exception of the early introduction of the original iPhone at the start of 2007.

The first iOS version I used was iOS 4, back in 2010. I remember watching this keynote and being so excited about the new features in iOS 5. Those were the days. Almost as exciting as using Mac OS 8.6, back in 1999.
Of course he is. No one will ever replace Steve. Cook is good but in my opinion it would have been a better choice to put Forstall in as CEO his presentations were quite good and I believe he had the beginnings of someone like Steve.
His charisma, his way of making us excited about every little thing. Apple has evolved and its products and Services how much more refined then they were 10 years ago, but boy, do I miss Stevenotes. Nowadays it's just not the same thing
You can tell that steve jobs was not very well at all look at how he slouches and stumbles slightly when walking in at 0:00:35 when he starts to talk his voice sounds weaker than usual his should not have attended this event but he thought so much of his company apple that he decided to go along and do it anyway. Well, no, he meant 6. He's one of the people like myself that knew the iPhone 5 is actually the SIXTH iPhone, and therefore refused to call it iPhone 5 until Apple themselves (for whatever reason) named it that. iPhone 4S is actually the fifth iPhone.
My dad went to high school with Scott Forstall. He said that it feels weird seeing an old classmate on an Apple event. He was like, “hey, I know that guy!”
The problem was that Steve built a company that only he knew how to control. He didn't leave a company like, say, Microsoft, where a successor could easily take over from where the company left off previously. This is clear when reports surfaced that Apple's executives weren't playing well with each other post-Jobs. Forstall was one the ones who weren't cooperating with the others. Hence, he was fired. And, in my opinion, regardless of his capabilities, rightfully so.
I have to admit that I thought that too and look at them now. They're lost without Forstall. Apple was founded on constant competition and fights between the teams. That's what made them different and it allowed for incredible stuff.

He and Jony Ive couldn't even begin the same meeting together, without Cook present, and they refused to attend each other's meetings.He also refused to sign an apology for the Apple Maps fiasco in 2012. He wasn't fitting into Apple, under Cook's leadership, and had to go. And OF COURSE people miss Steve Jobs. He is the greatest thing to happen to the technology industry, and for the world. He advanced so many industries through his influence at Apple and Pixar, and brought technology into the lives of millions. He is a great man, who is sorely, sorely missed. This was one of the best WWDCs for Apple The last by SJ Missing when Apple used to explain everything without too many videos Eddy Cue & Phil Schiller should lead back and Scott Forstall should be back to Apple.
