am I the only one that has taught mine kiss? i got him when he was barely weaned. he spent a lot of time hiding in my hair. sometimes, he would dart out and bite my lip. not hard but still. i would tell him, don't bite, kiss. took about 3 days before he caught on. sweet boy :)

My rat won't go for the treat, and instead runs towards me and climbs up my shoulder, I need help,
Fuzzysoul of Windclan if your rat won't take the tree out of your hand then you should try to have them in one hand and then have the tree in the other and put it in front of their face and follow it around where their head goes maybe they'll get the idea of having to eat the food, I have a two Dumbo rats and they both love being fed in or out of the cage and they never try to bite me and they will take food out of my hand maybe you have to trust train your rat so you they will trust you more if they don't already

You don't really train hamsters , trust me they don't care if you give them everything , they won't do a trick.
Because rats are more intelligent than dogs but hamster simply aren't

The skin and pit of the avocado are toxic. Don't feed them the flesh near the skin and pit, either. For the safest bet, skip avocado altogether.

About five years ago I also had a rat named Luna (Don't worry she was in a group of three, I didn't keep her alone). She was great but sadly she died of a sickness the was spotted to late. But soon I'll get new rats and I know alot more about them, so I think I'll be able to take good care of them. Thanks for the video! I'll try to train my babys...well when I have them.
I have 15 rats! I originally got 4, but one was pregnant and gave birth to 11 beautiful babies!! I've tried really hard to train the 4 oldest rats tricks, but only the one who had babies would listen

Luna looks just like the rat my girlfriend bought me today! I named her Shelby because her "racing stripe" reminded me of an old Shelby Cobra!

I have had rats for years. Many times having one rat at a time. They are very well capable of being happy as long as they get the attention. Yes, having a friend to interact with is beneficial/preferable, but it is by no means an essential need to being a rat owner.

Do you have to make the clicking noise or can you just give them a treat when you they do something, cause I use clicks as calling their names

I didn’t train my rat at all but right now one of my female rat know how to follow me when we got outside. So I decided to try to train her and other rats a little bit. But the only problem is all of them refuse to eat when they get outside.

I had one rat for about a month,she started to get porphyrin (not sure how to spell that!)in her eyes.I got her a pal and ,bam!her red boogers cleared!😃

Get better smelly-er treats
Give them more time to adjust and explore outside the cage so they are more comfortable accepting food. They like to know they’re surroundings first.
