I think Frugal Daddy has a slight hoarding tendency. Bless him.
Hi sweet lady. I really loved this video! Girl you have a lot of patience with frugal daddy! What a mess, he should be ashamed. Dude clean that up for your special lady😊 wow I've never seen more beautiful hydrangeas. I love your place-----except well you know😅
My moloķ
FD has many more positive attributes :-)
Hydrangea is my favorite flower
Wow what a mess daddy needs to do a lot of work 😂
😅
You were super smart to leave behind the tiny potatoes. Looks like you will reap the rewards of your foresightedness. Don't be too hard on FD. Concentrate on his high IQ, resourcefulness, and parenting skills :-) Thx for sharing. Hugs.
Bring a dumpster to your yard and fill it up with Frugal Daddy's Hoard😅
Amy you could make that old shed into a little greenhouse to start your seedlings in for your garden. I love the decorative items you have in your garden area. I think frugal daddy is a hoarder 😂 . I know it must be very frustrating for you. I love your front yard looking out over the river plus all your beautiful flowers. Do you still have your senior dog ? I think she is called Darma? I haven’t seen her lately. I also love your iron fencing . You have a really nice size yard with great shade trees. Love to you and the family ❤❤
FD needs to stop curb side shopping since it's all left out in the yard :/ He needs to clean that stuff up!
My cucmbers that I had started from seeds were looking ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS and I planted them in a VERY LARGE POT but within two days for some reason they died. They had enough water and were in the Sun also. I don't have any understanding as to why they would have died overnight. It's beyond me. All of my perennials are doing GREAT. I was rushed to the Emergency Room because a Specialist Accidentally cut my Spinal Cord open and could not stop the fluid from pouring out of me. So I have to be extremely careful not to bend a lot until it all heals on the inside. I have another appointment with a different Specialist this Wednesday. PLEASE keep your fingers crossed that I will be able to get out into my little garden to finish planting what I need to put in the pots or ground. GREAT JOB Frugal Mommy with all your gardening.
Prayers 🙏🙏🙏 and positive thoughts 💞💞💞 for you!!!
Prayers for your speedy recovery.
bury your used steel wool pads around the hydrangeas. This will result in blue flowers. Digging crushed eggshells into surrounding soil should pink up the flowers. So no money involved in amending colours. See how you go, depending on what colour your are looking for.
Have you used this method??
@@teepeeX only for blue. It worked quite well.
Thank you Frugal mommy for sharing your garden it's beautiful love those flowers they're amazing and I just like spending time with you thank you
they are pretty blucolor
You have a gorgeous collection of hydrangeas. My favorite yard flower. They bloom forever! Than you for the tour😊
Beautiful homestead
Frugal Daddy you have a beautiful home. Now clean up that mess in the yard. Shamey shamey. That is not exactly a homestead, just a nice garden area. Frugal mommie you try so hard to produce extra food. The tomatoes in pots look good.
Your whole property is lovely! The front view, the areas you garden in... Not frugal daddys mess! Men hoard, have neighbors that do too. But organize it neatly Dwayne! 🙄
Hi my dear Patricia, I hope your son moved in with you comfortably? - I hope you come & visit me soon? 😊
When I lived in Indiana I discovered Mulberry trees, so many, by my apartment. After I moved back to Michigan, I found 1(!) on during a walk. I knocked on the homeowner’s door and asked if I could pick them and the owner jumped with joy-PLEASE DO!!! So now I get all I need! Nice video! Frugal Daddy-if you just start to pick up-you’ll be surprised how much you’ll get done🤣
Beautiful garden. I'd love to see more of the carriage house.
I loved the video . I really like it when you walk around or just talk about all kinds of different stuff . You all are amazing . 😽😽😻
I love to see your garden. Hope you can do updates as things progress. So happy to see you again. Love your channel.
Love 💕 and Hugs. 💙💙💙
Beautiful homestead.Great job
The flowers are beautiful. Great job
You really need to clean up your yard. Organize your veggies, herbs, and other plants together. You have loads of room for all kinds of fruits too! I love your I enthusiasm with growing your own!
Hydrangea's are my favorite. 🤗 The one that's not favorite is called a Lacecap Hydrangea. Your mophead's are gorgeous. I love the fushia color bush. Some of the prettiest colors I've seen in a while.😊
Hello beautiful frugal mommy 👋👋👋👋beautiful garden, love it 💖 👌💖👍thank you for sharing...
Thanks for sharing, you’ve done a lot to your garden. 👍⭐️
I love your videos! You have the BEST sense of humor…. Erma Bombeck of the present ❤️
Frugal Daddy needs to get that junk out of back yard.Put in shed if it's already full then you need to clean that out. If you find stuff in the dumpster don't take stuff if you are not going to use ot donate. C.M.
I Love your hydrangea’s they my favourites .x
I love your hydrangeas ❤
I love all the colors. Good luck with all the veggies and fruit.
Hi Amy! I love your gardens! The hydrangeas are simply gorgeous; those plants are definitely happy with you! I hope you get a big veggie harvest this year too.❤️❤️
I know he’s dry, but the rusted garden is an excellent resource for helpful advice in gardening. I watch him on 1.5 speed and learn so much!
Very pretty garden
Daddy needs to clean that mess up for you , it takes away from the beautiful yard you are creating
That Looks like a job for a couple of young guys with a lot of youthful energy. Sometimes it's easier to hire someone🤔
Uff...you have your hands full with FD!!!
I love your carriage house!!!
Hi frugal family❤️
Good evening, can you please send me some sunshine, it's freezing in Adelaide... Thanks for the video 😊
Your garden is beautiful but yes, FD needs to organize and finish some of his projects. Rabbits have been feasting in my garden so no bok choy and I'm replanting swiss chard. I have 3 mulberry trees, love them. I was just looking up recipes for preserving them. Your strawberries look great. I just moved mine this year and am trying to get them going again. Thanks for the tour 👍.
Well your garden îs dry.needs watering.shes thurstyyyyy❤❤❤❤❤
I love blue hydrangeas. Mine has been blue but turned pink the last 2 years. I have acid spill and acid water that is from a well so I was/am confused. This year I found this soil acidifier and used it and one turned a deep purple, two are blue. I treated them all with the soil acidifier.
In SE Pennsylvania and they updated us from 6b to 7a.
I'm glad your tomatoes are doing well right next to the potatoes. My cucumbers were accidentally planted where potatoes are growing, turns out the potatoes starve cucumbers, tomatoes etc of potassium. I am about to give up.
Enjoy when you have your harvest
Why "about to give up" when you have realized your errors or "what went wrong" AND what went right? Gardening is a continual learning process. Keep going with your gardening/growing and learning😃keep a lil notebook and jot down what you have learned. Next planting season just refer to that notebook and make adjustments. You'll be glad that you didn't give up. 10 yrs from now you will look back on this time and laugh at yourself and shake your head with "I was suchhh a newbie back then"..
Lovely video from a lovely lady 💐 F. Dad, you are a cutie and we loves ya BUT, you gotta get your act together guy and tidy your s*** up, Amy has put a lot of work into her garden. ❤
Love to both of you, the girls and all your gorgeous foofballs. ❤😊
Heart worms from drinking from pond water!" Check for heart warms !
Heartworms aren't caused by drinking pond or dirty water they are caused by a mosquito that carries the parasite which in turn transmits to your dog when bitten. There are other diseases that can be transmitted through dirty water but heartworm isn't one of them.
Oh frugal MOMMY YOU GARDEN IS SO BEAUTIFUL YOU SHOULD GET LOTS OF VEGETABLES HEY DADDY YOU NEED TO FINISH DEALING WITH YOUR TREE AND CLEAN UP YOUR SHED LOL
You need to remove the plant from the carriage house, they will rot the wood, pull them down

Frugal daddy is doing too much road side shopping. I’d make him clean that mess up. You could have a beautiful greenhouse . You are doing great with your gardening. It’s something I love but can’t do anymore. Watching you doing it makes my heart happy.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💜 Many plants you have FM your flowers are gorgeous 😮 have a wonderful week 👍🏻

Frugal Daddy, pls pick up junk and take to rubish before you bring any more home... sort it whilst its nice weather...😮 I agree Frugal Mummy, i would be ok for a few days even a week, but after that ..clean it , use it or get rid of it .. NOOOOWWW.... 😊 LOVE YOURE GARDEN X Amy , i just throw and tomato 🍅 that is split back in and i get more and better each year
You have such a beautiful garden frugal daddy needs to get rid of things he doesn't use. Love your videos❤❤❤
Wow you have a big garden you could do lots in that garden the dogs must love running around all day love it
l
Beans, greens and roots are pretty much the only things I direct seed. I try to start everything else in cells, because I can care for them better than in ground.
such a beautiful place.
Hi Amy, one of the easiest ways we have found to amend the soil is by mulching with something like sugar cane mulch. We do live in an area where we can obtain this easily, but during a hot summer it breaks down well. Maybe something like pea or Lucerne straw would be available in your area. I am in Australia by the way. It also helps to water with beneficial bacteria to improve the microbiome of the soil which in turn aids the plants with their nutrient uptake. 🙂
OMG!!!! My hydrangea DREAMS!!!! Those are absolutely gorgeous 😱😱😱😱. Holy cannoli!!! That’s my goal for next year on the new property, planting my most favorite flower ever 🩷💙💜
Your garden is really quite lovely. I love your hydrangea .
Gosh you have a lot of garden. Lovely.
Love,love, love your hydrangeas!
I've already gotten beans and peppers.
I would be super excited if my strawberries 🍓 would propagate like yours have! 😊❤
Apt living doesn't permit gardening. Miss gardening.
I will enjoy your garden
Thank you for sharing.
You have a fun little yard amy, trial and error can end up so sweet, i hope you get to harvest tons for your prepper pantry, and that we get to see alot of canning videos. Been watching yall for a long time, i just love you guys, the girls are growing so fast and learning great things from you, good job frugal mommy.
Nice garden Amy, my potatoes didn't grow, a squirrel we think could be a chipmunk is eating my beans & taking the tomatoes off the vine. It dug up my onion bulbs 4 times now that they are growing they are doing well. My peppers & cucumbers , celery & strawberries & another pot of beans are doing
well . 😃🇨🇦
Frugal daddy needs to clean up his mess!!
The hydrangeas are AMAZING!😊
Your property is HUGE !
All the passion
All the glory
TheFrugals
Love your big beautiful yard
Thanks for sharing
Your garden is massive! Mine are two postage stamp sized gardens, which have been left for the past 10yrs to grow wild. I currently cannot open my living room window, as plants have grown above it! 😂 Your hydrangeas are beautiful 😍 I love the deep purple ones. Xx
Wow wow’s wow how beautiful you have done a beautiful job hopefully all you can get together and have wonderful work day on the shed and the trees and I think mom would be good at planning for dad and the girls to get busy and get the job done so you can go have some fun 😊
Your potatoes need to have the soil hoed up around them as they grow. You may need to add loose soil if you don't have enough. The tops are all you should see by harvest time. The potatoes will continue to produce higher & higher as you add losse dirt around them. Potatoes grow bigger & produce more when you keep the soil losse around them. I'm not trying to be a know it all. My father taught us to garden our entire lives. He always had award winning potatoes @ our state fair year after year.
I just love that Liesel! Gardens are looking good! You'll be making a lot of jam soon.
Hi Amy you have the most beautiful home and garden!Take care and stay safe!❤Blessings your friend Joyce from California HUGS 😅
Lovely garden and yard. My variety of roses are feeding the deer. Cherry trees are loaded. Blackberry bushes are over six feet tall. Berries are black, but the plants take over the ground. Chestnut trees, two varieties have bloomed and now forming nuts. Abundant rain and high winds are doing some damage, but it will soon be very dry. This will be our fifth year for draught in WA. Imagine it with all the rivers but it is the snowfall that keeps the salmon habitats going. Have Logan berry bushes that are quirky--they don't ripen until late fall but want to keep growing over and under the ground. Have spent years on mulch, nitrogen bearing plant and tree foods. Apple trees and chestnuts did not bear much last year. Growing season this year is weird. Some things seem to have lost their way for when they should bloom or bear fruit. Wils elderberries (red) that are poisonous have fruit ripening already. I plant l
English laurel for the blue/black berries. Everything is for the wildlife. Deer, raccoons, squirrels all come for food. WA, Puget Sound, Whidbey Island, Deception Pass, rain, mist, wind, cooler temperatures, 60's.😊
Marigolds are good to plant in the garden. I have too many squirrels to have any type of garden.
Love your garden …a lot of work …love the carriage house …would be fun to live in ….👏👏🦋
Lovely!
Wow you have everything you definitely have a green thumb 😊
I love the tour! You are so talented. I am getting cucumbers now, tomatoes are just starting to turn squashes are bluming.. peppers are loaded cabbage is growing. I just planted a victory garden this year, ............I'm old😊
Where's frugal daddy?🥰🥰🥰
So what you do is take asquare and tell frugal daddy we are cleaning this square today. Then in a couple days take another square. It’s the easy way to tackle a big job. Love your garden
I will try that
Always love your garden videos. Awesome that you have squash in a sunnier spot than in other videos! The ones you think are tiger lilies are actually day lilies, can tell by lack of black dots on flowers and long strappy leaves indicate daylilies, orangey in your case.
Hello Amy good to see you and I love the garden expansion and update! Thanks for sharing.❤
Beautiful yard
Love❤ your flowers😊
What a great start on your garden. And you’ll get better results in time. Then you’ll be in the garden every day. One thing I learned is corn likes sandy soil. Just a thought. I have to use raised beds l have what they call is gumbo red clay. Grass and weeds is all I can get to grow in it.😊😊😊😊❤❤❤❤❤
Very nice ❤
your yard is so cool. love it
I would love to see in your Carriage house it looks really cool
Your hydrangeas are beautiful!🥰I have 3. It’s funny you are trying to grow blackberries and I have a mountain of them I am chopping down! Thanks for sharing your garden, I need to plant more things. Have a great day!🌸
Hi🤚🏻if your strawberry run offs don’t have flowers pull them up they’re just a waste of your time. And you’ll never get fruit.
lso have squah 3kinds, okra green beans eggplant basil (love pesto) and potatoes in the ground potatoes did not make last year
Looks great
Strawberry fields forever 😍
Love your garden is bigger than I thought
Greetings from Cape Town, we are into winter now I have cabbage , spinach, soup celery, leeks, parsley, spring onions, chives, bell peppers, a few of each, tomatoes finished for now
I would have to say frugal daddy you’re not allowed to go out and get any more junk until you’ve tidied up that yard naughty boy good girl frugal mummy for being so patient with them
Looks good, except the fact that you lost part of a tree. My dad used to collect piles of things all over our yard too. and he'd say "we may need that some day". Wow, you have a huge property.
cool
