"Our school band played this song for a competition. We won." - top comment on the original video for this (idk why i remember the comment, it just kinda stuck w me lol)
@@rafaelluciano5596to be honest, I think that would always be the case as games are now a massive percentage of media consumed compared to movies and individual songs.
This is quite possibly the best final level out of any 3D Mario games. Not only is the level very impactful with clever challenge, but the track is amazingly well made.
The music in this one easily clears everything else… ever, but the final level in the original game is far superior to this one in terms of gameplay, creativity, and polish. Bowser attempting to cobble together poorly created chunks of all the galaxies you both had discovered and explored throughout the course of the game, resulting in a god forsaken and clearly deteriorating amalgamation that you’re l barreling through in an attempt to stop his true attempt at making a galaxy is such a brilliant and perfectly excecuted concept, and the chaos of it all along with the details of freeing and watching the lumas create aimed warp stars instead of them being previously lain out makes it feel less like you’re making your way through a linear boss level and more like you’re scrambling to find a path through the storm of crumbling planets before it’s too late. I didn’t realize this until I was older, but the “sun” behind bowser is actually one of the all too familiar undiscovered galaxies you see in the observatory, and having seen the supernoval explosion that turns the whole screen white and spans the whole system you’re watching, one could only imagine what would happen if it went wrong, especially if you’re that up close and personal.
this song is so beautiful and full of hope and determination, it really does feel like you're putting a stop to something that's truly evil and wants to rule the world and it's for a game where you play as a chubby italian man with a big moustache trying to stop a big funny reptile from taking over space
I think this is the most nostalgic smg2 theme for me because I spent hours to collect 99 (screw Nintendo for never making it a 100)1 ups just for this level. So when I heard the ssbu remix it gave me instant memories to that moment. Truly beautiful ❤
This game has such a great soundtrack. It's got so much orchestral stuff but uses a lot of unconventional instruments or sounds in songs too and every track still sounds unique from the others.
The first 10 seconds of this song has no competition in my mind to any other portion of any other song I’ve ever heard. Perfection. That’s it. Sounds good, build up, drop, used in a near perfect game, dramatic, nostalgic. Favourite Mario OST, heck top 3 OST just because of first 10 seconds. I’m glazing and I couldn’t care less
This theme represents the fandom’s continuous triumph over Nintendo’s oppressive rule. We shall persevere, no matter how many videos get taken down by their unfair policies!
I’ll never forget in a previous vid for this tune, somebody mentioned picturing this being the tune of D-Day and the closure of World War II. Ironically, I knew a guy who stormed the beach on Normandy. He passed away about 10 years ago at a ripe old age. R.I.P., Vince. You helped save this world.
i Remember riding yoshi in mario and I had to let him go climbing the pole to fight bowser while yoshi waved at me bye. I ended up crying cuz it was perfect with the music.

Me too!
Damm, that guy was a legend then. Kinda wished to see this played live
I absolutely adore when people do youtube comment preservation

When Yoshi waves at Mario/Luigi just before the final boss fight.
It's the little things in life.
Yeah, I fondly remember that moment.
The fact that all of these masterpieces were just composed for a game is mind boggling to me
Also for a game that was meant to be played mainly by kids who in 99% of cases would just play and not pay attention to these things
@@2001_alms_m3_gtr tbf those same kids grew up nostalgic to these songs and went back to listen to them
Counterpoint, many of the best songs of the past 30 years have been written for games

No es una sorpresa ya que los videojuegos son la cuminacion misma del arte en su maxima expresion

"Beware, dear viewer, for this video is very long"
This is a great piece. I applaud you for reuploading the music after the horrible Nintendo strike.
i like it!
All my homies hate Nintendo
Isn't that the "racist" pfp that was a meme a while back 🤨📸

Yep, just like Bowser's Galaxy Reactor from the first game.

@@NODONTBURNTHEFOOD That's a long but very insightful paragraph!
No more stars. No more 1-ups. Just Mario and Bowser.
"1v1 me"
- Bowser, probably.
One of the best tracks from the game
Favorite song from this game by far. Thanks for the upload, these keep getting removed because UA-cam sucks
UA-cam? More likely Nintendo
When I first heard this as a kid, for some weird reason it gave me a vibe to The Little Mermaid.
I learned this song on piano recently. This will always and forever be one of my favorites
I want to learn this on piano so bad!

Defintely on of my favorite tracks in this game, if not best
The theme of a Practice Exam or a review session before a Final Exam in Middle/High school.
Theme of marching towards your final exam building at 8:30am in college

The epitome of final level music
This is something you could hear out of a Pokemon Mystery Dungeon final dungeon level (before post game).
I can't see it, honestly. Mystery Dungeon's and Galaxy's styles are too different from each other.
@@namedname7478 eh its true but i think its just the tone of this theme that makes me think about it

This one of the masterpieces that need to be played in real life if you are doing something dramatic
This theme fits as the first level in the final world and the penultimate level before the final boss.
