- Going over all the reasons why someone might buy the PSA Dagger. Things like recoil, ergonomics, size, and what makes it better than other options on the market.
PSA Dagger ULTIMATE Build:
• The ULTIMATE PSA Dagge...
Sorry guys, when referring to the ported slide I was talking about the micro dagger not the dagger compact. I did a bad job of explaining that!
I bought my first dagger 3 yr ago ( Covid scare). Worked so so well i took it to my first match earlier this year and placed 3rd. I love it
I have 7 matches through mine. I have tactical pontoon trigger in mine. probably the best upgrade.
was it like a local or a professional event either way man 3rd is crazy good awesome shit man! and for a dagger too. I’m not sure why everyone shits on it so much but I’m almost 1k rounds in (i know it’s not much) but not a single jam or malfunction. Mag release isn’t the best though not sure if I should swap it out.
@ohasm it was some local event that my church and local PD was sponsoring
Great platform to "build" off of due to low entry price. Tons of aftermarket parts. Actually good ergonomics. I have several.
Yessir , just finished building mine for first gun and it shoots nice and looks nice
@@Leoloudpack Great choice!!! And the addiction begins!! 💪💪💪😎
Better ergs than Glock, for sure. I just built one for my father-in-laws first. RMR, Comp, light, etc…
@jakenieten Just don't do what I did and built 3. 🤪😜😝🤙
@ LOL! Sounds like something I would do, too!
I have a full size dagger with Herrington comp, it’s a dramatic difference in shooting, so kudos to you guys!
I added a tactical pontoon trigger in it and the gun is really fantastic now!
Trigger counter was a wonderful addition 😂
I thought I was going to replace the trigger because it sucks out of the box, but after putting about 300 rounds through it it feels waaaaaay better, it actually feels good, and it is not just me getting used to it either. Apparently break in is a thing with the trigger, everything else felt good out of the box.
I have a compact and micro and I agree, the trigger pull espically on the micro is really crisp mabye I got one made on a good day but has a great break, I'm not a fan of the trigger shoe so I just replaced the shoe on my compact with a flat faced one off ebay and put a tyrant designs in my micro c-1
Finally got myself one. Needs a better slide release, trigger, and mag release button but other than that it’s awesome
Built mine exactly the same. Been very happy with it
I own 3 daggers each one is completely different from the other. I enjoy them a lot
Same
I really like the look of the dagger slide. I got mine in fde.. yes, I'm one of those people. Though, the finish is quick to wear, if you care about that kind of thing.
I just got one and my mag slides out like butter. I have read about the complaints but so far so good for me
First upgrade on all my daggers has been a HA comp. Best looking and functioning comp in the business!
Love my threaded copper barrel and ported slide😮💨 literally can’t stop looking at it
My friends have more than a few and they all like em a lot.
These plus PSA ARs are great if you're building a SHTF arsenal for your family, friends and neighbors.
I carry a Walther PDP Pro X for work.
I also have a Dagger compact with PSA Comp, Holosun 407, Apex trigger and a light.
My Dagger is a damn good gun. Get one.
I have a dagger and enjoy shooting it. Having said that, there are a lot of choices now for not much more, as you eluded. Now with the Echelon 4.0c, the Ruger RXM, etc, there is not a lot of advantage to buying a Dagger any longer, unless that's just the one you like. Nothing wrong with that.
From what I understand, the MIM locking block is the weak link in these pistols and can't be replaced with the Glock one, only the factory part. If someone made a replacement locking block that wasn't MIM I imagine they would sell a ton of them.
I enjoyed building out my Dagger after catching the lower and upper on sale separately, under 300. You are spot on with changing out the trigger. I went with Tactical Pontoon’s Dagger kit, much improved. Added your HA comp, Holosun 507C ACSS green, Holosun PID 1000, and a 3D printed mag well. Very Happy with all those. The Harrington Arms comp fit perfectly on the angled nose of the PSA slide. I bought and tried an extended mag release, but it was way too long, so back to stock. Which one do you recommend?
solar bits are a backup, not a charger. They do not prolong the battery life. They also control the auto-brightness feature.
it's perfect for group buys for those who want sub 300 (on sale) Glocks not in .40sw trade in. Even your most broke homie, if he has a credit card can afford to have a dagger frame (60 for burnt orange) sent to his local pawnshop. All the homies can train together using the same basic gear platform. Plus trading parts during super sales. like maybe a coupon on Harrington comps ;)
I've got one...got it over a Glock because I don't like plastic guns..used it for EDC..for around 2yesrs.... fixing to sell it due to circumstances beyond my control.. going back to my 1911...
Spending more on "build out" then the value of the pistol is crazy
Why? An optic is more expensive than most pistols
How so? Just a good light and red dot will surpass the price of a lot of good pistols. Add a comp and maybe a trigger and you are well past the pistol's cost, unless you're buying something like a Staccato. It's an expensive hobby, regardless of what you tell your wife.
@@woodystube1000 my wife thinks all my guns are 300 bucks 🥲🥹😂
Will you guys be dropping more flared magwells for the full sized daggers?
What magwell is that ?
The trigger counter hahaha
Did you replace the roll pins with regular pins?
Why dont we just break it down to, if the working class American had to depend their life on it, especially in a self defense situation, is it worth it? From so much reviews of this firearm, it seems to lean towards it...
I bought one a month ago 50 dollar lower compact frame 249 for the sw6 upper a sight for 80 the mag 20 just bought the compensator that I’m waiting for 63 dollars after tax
Great Budget Build. SW6 looks amazing.
The Canik Mete is not a great concealed carry option, in my opinion. Its big and bulky and not the aftermarket like gen3 glock
You did "15 trigger counters" twice😂
I've got a hand full of Daggers, both the compact and the micro. Glock triggers are trash; the dagger stock trigger is a radioactive dumpster fire. Sorry Glock guys my PPQ M1 spanks all of your after market upgrades. I do really enjoy the after market support and after some ghost parts and a different trigger the Dagger is better than a Glock stock trigger.
My biggest complaint is the same as yours. The button mag release is just not good. But I don't think any button release is acceptable. I prefer the PPQ's paddle style release. It is faster and ambi. I wish the USA market had a better reaction to it. If I could have it my way every pistol with a magazine would use it.
i don't fancy Glocks for a host of reasons. But how does this weapon stack up against a $1200 Walther PDP Pro Compact?
I got my PDP Pro Compact SD for $750. Brand new.
Who ever sold you that def got paid that day they selling those around me for less than 1k
@@Cruxian.Skrillalocation definitely doesn’t drive price of a gun like that, dude just got scammed hard
My daily carry, even the poors are taken care of
Because they want to explore the after market with a cheap base gun. It's fr guys that want to buy an AR and trade every part out lol
It’s a great little gun for the poors to carry, plink, or compete with. Gun snobs hate it, makes us want them even more…
Not a clue.
It's cheap. That's why.
By the time you do to it what you need. You're left with a knock off glock that won't work nearly as well for the same price. Lol.
If I had to replace my penis with a gun, I would replace it with a Dagger.
Aww how cute, he thinks he knows guns because he watches John Wick 😂
Your comment, baby yaga is not accurate at all.
@joemama69448 nope. I know guns because I know guns.
@Baba.Yaga_ 🤣🤣🤣🤣
