  • AFW & 4 Wheeling Australia 4x4 collaboration series episode 6 continues with the journey by packing and leaving the first base camp at Newnes Powerlines and enroute to the Aboriginal art near the end of the Blackfellows Hand Trail, but first with a stop over at the Jurassic section with caves below the pagodas and some beautiful sights. We left the base camp when it was 2°C (35°F) and by the time we reached this section, the temperature rose to 13°C (55°F) thanks to the clear blue skies and the sun. After that, we proceeded to the Aboriginal art section with a short walk up the mountain. Thereafter we crossed Wolgan Rd to continue our 4WD journey along The Bicentennial National Trail which involved a bit of four-wheel driving up some steep sections. Stay tuned and follow our progression of fourbying, camping, sightseeing and other offroad related stuff that occurred during this awesome and intense week. Thank you for watching.

Last time we did this track, on that last little steepish climb at the 37:25 mark, we had a beautiful little echidna come cruising on up the track - was so cool ! 👍👍🇦🇺

loved it as always. Was shocked to see the gate there as well. Idiots destroyed it for the rest as usual. Last time we drove in there we were going to camp but was disgusting so went up further and found a better camp up the track.
    Awesome video.

Thanks mate 👍 The area where you exit from Appin tracks? Yeah nah, not supposed to be in there, plus if you're unlucky, there's a bad neighbour next to the bush that targets 4wd's exiting from there with a potato gun. You either gotta be quick or you'll cop some pretty nasty dents everywhere.

I’m soooo PI😡😡ED off to see they’ve blocked off that track ! 🤬🤬🤬
Bit more fantastic work on NPWS part - block it off, let it overgrow for years and then when a fire rips through and burns shit out of everything in there, including the thousands of years old aboriginal paintings, then they can wonder why. What friggin a’holes !
So I take it that they’ve blocked it off before you get to the track on the right that takes you right through and out to Glowworm Tunnel road ?
Mark my words - the next to get blocked off will be the Lost City..... utter pricks they are !
And what’s worse, they couldn’t even use Aussie steel for the gates, friggin Chinese metal - fair dinkum !!!
    🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬
Just one thing though guys, and I say this with the utmost respect to you all, but it is all national park area through there and you guys keep taking your dogs in there and then letting them run around outside of the vehicles - this is the sort of thing that NPWS love because it gives them more reason to shut tracks.....please be mindful and respectful of the regulations, no dogs, or cats for that matter are allowed in national parks period - it’s close to a $500 fine per animal.
If they remain in the vehicle whilst travelling through a national park, that’s a grey area that they will usually ignore to an extent but when they’re out running around loose like that, it doesn’t help our cause as responsible 4 wheel drivers.
Sorry fellas but had to mention it. No hard feelings eh, only mentioning because I see t a lot and figured may be a lot people aren’t aware so just spreading the word. 😉👍👍
