No such thing as a perfect fighter but I know what you mean, arguably the greatest of all time but there’s definitely holes in his game just like khabib. Even if we programmed a fighter and gave them the best genetics, skills, dedication and gave them the best stand up and the best ground game we still don’t know a lot of techniques. Like when Conor pulled that shoulder strike on Donald Cerrone we had never seen that before in the cage. It’s similar to anything. Like even in sales people who have done it for 20yrs can learn something new, a bricklayer can learn something new after doing it for 40yrs. I love his attitude towards fighting. I am just a hobbyist who trains a few times a week, and I sometimes let my ego get inflated by the fact that I train. At the end of the day though, fighting is not the be all and end all. Honestly, sometimes I chuckle thinking about how silly fighting can be. The UFC definitely inflates the hype. All that being said, I hope to keep training for years to come, simply because it's fun.
Love that guy. I am into MMA only since it’s all over my feed because I listen to Joe Rogan. GSP is impressive to me in every way. His mind and heart are as strong and stable as his stance when fighting.
There are plenty of super talented fighters (fighters ppl think are more naturally talented) that have gone through GSP’s same camp and failed to come close to what he’s done. He’s successfully convinced ppl he’s not as special as he actually is.
Some people fall for the bullshit of braggarts who are just covering for severe shortcomings, people like nthem because they're similiarly lacking. McGregor is a prime example of this, talented striker but in grappling and ground grappling severely lacking which is why he looked for a way out of fighting Nurmagomedov by attacking that bus and injuring people.

He has a great philosophy towards fighting. I can understand why he puts so much pressure on himself to be perfect because of his OCD, but the mindset of taking the fight too seriously can be too mentally exhausting.
