Lived in eastern Canada for 8 years, and this is frighteningly accurate. Chinese tourists see a potentially dangerous animal, and for some reason think it's a perfect opportunity to tell their kids to walk right up to it for a photo. Moose and bears can take a person's head off, and they tell their kids "Go on up to it and say hi!"
Do they think they’re at a petting zoo?

@Steve C I'm in Australia. Saw an article here last week from a conservative, Murdoch owned newspaper - "Chinese tourists not returning in same numbers" (post pandemic). Our Tourism industry appears to lack much national integrity!! They are happy to pretend none of the last three years happened in order to chase the big coin. As opposed to the rest of us - who I suspect don't mind too much if Chinese tourist numbers stay low. /If I worked in tourism, and relied on a viable industry for my own survival, I would FAR rather see the Australian Tourism Council chasing business from Filippino, Malaysian, Vietnamese or Indian travellers, who are also in our geographic region.
It’s legit tourists people as a whole . Everywhere you go “tourists” just so tourist things

@Bloginton Blakley Well, other than the man who OWNS all of that land! He should have told that older guy that "we don't share land here in America - we EARN it. If YOU want land here, EARN IT - but even THAT won't give you the right to tell ME what to do with MY land! Don't bring your collectivist communist crap here; visit, but don't judge!"
@Bloginton Blakley Stole it? From who? The British and French who claimed it from the Native Americans? Who, before the Brits, Dutch, Spaniards, and French showed up, fought each other for it? Who had it before them? The ancient mastodons? Some unknown tribes who came across the Bering Strait from the western parts of Asia? The land has changed hands over and over again throughout recorded history, in every part of the world; if you knew anything about history, you'd have learned that by now.
If you think the US has sole guilt about this land, you're more naive than you sound! I don't ignore history; I LEARN from it! How about you? I learned, for instance, that the Jews were in what's now known as Israel centuries BEFORE the Arabs; but people insist on claiming that the Palestinians (who didn't exist as a group until after WWII - and are presently using a name - "Palestinians" from the word "Palestine" - which is a name given to the region by the ROMANS, who themselves came long after the Jews did to that region!) were there long before anyone else; and that the Israelis are the "oppressors"! Meet a person who claims THAT, and you've met a person who doesn't know history! Pakistan used to be just a Muslim province of India; do you see the Indian government demanding IT back?? The whole continent of Australia used to be a part of the British Empire; are the Brits sending forces to retake it? I must have missed that particular war in the news! Brazil used to be Spanish territory a few centuries ago; when was the last time you saw Spain fighting to reclaim it? Spain also used to own what's now Florida, as France used to own New Orleans! Shall we hand all that back to them now? Disrupt the Electoral College, because Blogington Blakley wants to reset history according to his notions of "fairness" and "equality"?
I suggest you grow up, learn how the real world operates, and read more history!
@Bloginton Blakley It wouldn't be my army against yours, Bloginton - it would be YOU against ME; winner take all! That would be the most honorable way to do it, wouldn't it? And after reading how you think and how you see the world....I have little doubt I'd come out on top. So - it would end up with me, MY 500....and YOUR 500 as well.

You guys are serious!!!??? It's a movie and it's not real? Damn! 🙄🤦♂️
@Petar Kružić I have seen Black Bear in the Ozarks that could care less. It just depends on the individual creature.
In real life that bear could be digging for food (a vole maybe?). Easier than chasing Chinese. The handler for this scene probably buried a treat to make the bear dig like that. If a bear assaults a human in this area, the authorities have to chase it down and euthanize it. That's why there are signs posted on trash receptacles outside The Park that say, "A fed bear is a dead bear." Don't feed them. Don't get near them. Dispose of all food related trash and garbage in locked receptacles. If you can't abide by common sense rules, stay home and watch it on TV.
Those who believe this is a movie is a bigger moron than anything, remind me how many season's movies have?😂
I can't stop laughing how those Chinese tourists starter running after the shot. In 2013 while me and my friends were on US roadtrip we ended up in a similar situation like this. Luckily without a wild animal close by and without damaging anything but ending up deeper in the private property. A guy with a rifle came closer and acted similar like Kevin here. After he told us we were trespassing we immediately apologized and asked him If he could help us out of the property. When he realized we were just tourists, unarmed, so sorry for what happened he had no problems helping us out. After we left private property we apologized again and gave him some of the beer we bought before. At first he didn't want it but after I literally demanded him getting a few cans saying he will love it and it is from our country he took some. We all say goodbye and left.
If you apologize, any rancher - Costner's character included - would have the same reaction. A lot of people don't realize how massive some private properties can be in the US. GPS is mostly useless out there, too, unless you have a military-grade receiver AND signal. The first rule is to never lie to ranchers. Made an honest mistake? Ask one for help and they'll give you the shirt off their back if that's what it takes. Double down and be an asshat? Yeah, you'll DEFINITELY be staring down the barrel of a rifle or shotgun.
Imagine visiting a country, trespassing into someone’s property and then telling them they should be sharing their property. Wow

Private property is the key that allows people to go from poverty to prosperity. Private property is so important.
So is the right to defend it.
Without that, you’re just a slave to the government.
Throw Away Throw Away -(I don’t know why there is a line through some words, just act like it isn’t there and read all✌️)A Law is the collective organization of the individual right to lawful defense. If every person has a right to defend -even by forces- , his person, his liberty and his property, then it follows that a group of men have the right to organize and support a common force to protect these rights constantly. Thus, since an individual cannot lawfully use force against the person liberty, or property of another individual, then the common force (GOV) -for the same reason -cannot lawfully be used to destroy the person, liberty, or property of individuals or groups. If a nation were founded on this basis, it would have the most simole, easy to accept, economical, limited, nonoppresive, Judy, and enduring government imaginable.
Yeah, cuz people in poverty can afford land...
J_Fley Yea, cause communist countries where everyone shares the land are soooo successful
J_Fley- In country’s were the natural right of private property is “taken away” the poor and middle class are the ones that are punished.
Rich people are always able to get there way through lobbying and bribes, to be able to keep there land or to take the poor peoples lane through “ eminent domain” etc.
“government “ in this case ( is acting in response to the rich people that gave them money)
The poor can’t do anything about it when the “government” takes there land because they can’t afford to pay for all of the lawyers and lobbying that the rich have.
So when you get ride of property rights you are only hurting the poor. The rich will always get to go through loopholes through lobbying, and layers. Like in taxation where the rich can afford expensive accountants that save them so much money through loopholes to the point are they pay badly any taxes (like Donald trump).
The poor (and the middle class) don’t have the financial ability to pay for accountants.
How do we fix this ? Only one sentence is needed to fix this!!!!
The more power we give to the government to control businesses, the more businesses seek to control government.
And it’s only the wealthy businesses that can afford to control government.
Make government limited to the point where businesses would stop lobbying because the government wouldn’t be able to hand out favors.
I was at Yosemite and people were out of the cars taking photos of a Black Bear and her two cubs.
Those bears are pretty docile but make momma bear get protective and someone will get mauled.
