A recently released mod made by Nano, the Extinct Animals Booster Pack comes with three new animals that have made cameos within the game of Extinct Animals; the Columbian Mammoth, the Embolotherium, and the Irish elk!

I like this mod because the animals aren't hyper realistic with weird textures, they actually fit with the vanilla game

Exactly plus I like that they look realistic and fit the vanilla game to be honest I don’t like the remakes the animals are too skinny with the remakes

Pretty much the only animal that made a cameo in the game that is not in this pack is Pteranodon. Other than that, this is a pretty cool pack.

True but I think it was a good idea that the dev kept Pteranodon out. Like all of the adoptable birds are ground with the exception of the secretarybird and the flamingo. And those two can fly but it's like not even a meter off of the ground and it's for a short period of time too, so Pteranodon would be a very difficult animal to keep in the vanilla style to say. Of course, it would been cool if Zoo Tycoon 2 had the animal houses from the first Zoo Tycoon game but still.

Reasons why Zoo tycoon 2 is better than planet zoo, number 1, extinct animals.
Ok in ZT2 the roster isn't vast but I feel a number of animals needs more attention such as the dodo bird, thylacine, the Warrah since these animals are disturbingly recent animals that were killed off by humanity either because ha ha or they looked dangerous, the dodo was killed off by spanish sailors, the warrahs and Thylacine were killed when humans were using guns, and I mean brass cartridge guns.
The giant ground sloth though? Yea it needs recognition because we owe that animal's prehistoric anus for humanity's favorite fruit.
I do sound like I am ranting but my point is, I would like a zoo game with a wide variety of animals from modern to extinct.
