I’ve played all of them, don’t know what happened but in World it just felt off for me. I’ve played it, yes. But it didn’t make a click for me, even though it was a really good game. I’ve tried Rise too, but it was even worse… I hope Wilds makes me fall in love with the franchise again
I think the franchise replaced combat challenge with gating you behind a grind, which is not entirely a bad thing and it will make it accessible to more people, but definitely not for everyone either
I’ve had to learn to like different things for different reasons. Things can’t always stay the same nor should they try to. I appreciate that the devs are always trying new things and taking things forward. I’ll always be glad that I got to play something like FU and 4U rather than be upset that their time is gone. In regards to the combat I like to describe it like this, “The old games were more focused on punishing you for your bad decisions whereas the new games are more focused on rewarding you for making good decisions.”
Makes me happy to see someone actually getting a use out of my hunts. xD Thanks for crediting!
I thought yours looked particularly cool lol thanks for coming by ❤️
