Carlos Cavozo was such an Awesome and underrated Guitarist!!!
Paul and Carlos (along with Rudy) would be the best lineup for today's version of QR.
With Jason Bonham.
I like the Shortino era,
Mos def!
Gotta like Paul, great singer, did a great job on QR, but no one compares to the one and only, the late great Kevin Dubrow... RIP Kevin, we miss ya.
Sucks he's gone
@@antimurphy8212 I agree, Paul is great but for me Kevin is Kevin!! The best!
80е лучшее время для тех кто любит настоящую музыку. Всем музыкальным героям которых уже нет с нами R.I.P.
This version of Quiet Riot was great and the songs from there one album together sounds great live.
Party all night was a awesome opening song.
Awesome Carlos is very underates awesome player and songwrither
Carlos cabezo great guitarrista foreverrrrr...
Frankie was awesome; drove the band
Just the best Paul!
④⑤⑥が神リレー!しっとりじっくり熱く聴かせてくれる。
QR+ポールは興行的には成功しなかったが、たった一枚だけの名盤も残してくれた素晴らしいラインナップ。
got to give this version credit, its truly live, not over dubbed like most faked crap today, they didn't rely on past hits & played most of their new stuff at the time...edited DVD i guess, & i like every cd w/ Dubrow, i forgot QR cd is really good because is is so different than the rest of Kevin's era, thanks for posting, Carlos really does have this signature sound that only he has....
I think this was Carlos Cavazo's best work in Quiet Riot. Just an impressive effort on this Shortino QR album.
I totally agree! The guitar tone on stay with me tonight is stellar!
Carlos Cavazo'sis in my top 20 guitarist. he handles lead and rhythm well
He's an absolute monster on *Terrorizer* as well, but this is still my overall favorite QR album.
@@MasterArpeggioSystem, gonna have to check that out, thanks for the tip!
@@loulozada8118 It might be the best playing of his career. His soloing is seriously on fire on that album and his tone is great (sometimes too strident/treble-heavy), but I still love the vibe, tone and songs on QR best.
Never saw this Rough Cutt show! Thanks for posting!
Paul Shortino is a great singer, but nobody beats the sound of Kevin Dubrow in Quiet Riot.
Except for pretty much anyone. hahaha Dubrow sucked.
@@mgdarenz uh... exit this life and find another one please...
@@MemeDogger your name describes your life pretty accurately.
He can't hit Kevin's range unless it's a bad night. That being said he should be the current QR singer. Not everyone else that followed after Kevin's death.
@@mgdarenz - Go fuck yourself, TROLL
No kevin no Frankie R.I.P. no quiet riot
And no Rendy RHOADS .
They are in our hearts 💕 forever .
Love Paul,Carlos,Frankie and that album.
Love this album
I'm Fallin' is one hell of a party
i love all the quiet riot singers now they all rock, this is the old quiet riot with a new singer. i dig him his sick as in cool.
I went this concert. They had transformed into a blues rock band. Frankie, who was playing with the red gloves put on, was very cool. Since that day he has been my drum master.
Paul Shortino can give a homework to the tons of vocalist all over the world.Whoever writes down like some kids down bellow in comments that he is a copycat of some other dude no matter who he is or what band it is "i pitty the fool"...I am from Europe and by far he is my top 3 singers of all time with everything he can sing and how he sing it with balls.Advice for trolling comments down for a God like Paul Shortino "he can sing every song because he is that good the others can only wish to sing like him "....
You are right, I just meet him & I really do like his takent. Amazing voice & a great presence on stage.
Amazing voice.
Great performance, great performers. Nothing not to live here!!!
How could they not play Metal Health? :-/
I wrote to Frankie about it - he didn't answer. There is an audience shot with full setlist of this show. Unfortuately I don't have it, but if you get there, write to me, please :)
Long live Duke Fame!!!!!
Simply brilliant!
I loved this version of Quiet Riot, but they really should have changed the name of the band. Their hands were probably tied by the record company. Shortino has an amazing voice but true QR to me was always the combination of Dubrow's voice and Banali's drums. Hope they are happy now reunited in heaven.
This was sacrilege. Kevin, where were you!
Agree, I really like Shortino era, but I think it's a "second Rough Cutt" and Kevin was the best :)
Exactly
Jake E. Lee should have gotten Paul to replace Ray Gillen, in Badlands.
Agree, Jake keeps rotating singers like a carusell ride, like if he doesn't know what he wants.
Jake E. Lee rules even though.
Sorry to disagree but Paul Shortino has a very limite range compared to Ray Gillen
Nobody but NOBODY replaces Ray! Straight up
@@vendmaster7107 Esp this guy. He is fucking lousy, Ray is right up there with Aretha Franklin as far as great and soulful singers.
Wouldn't have mattered. The lousy 90's and slimey grunge hit the music scene.
I prefer Shortino
I like his raw blousey voice. At least he's no Kevin Dubrow imitator. That's a good thing.
Much like Jon Corabi to Vince Neil, Paul was a superior singer to Kevin Dubrow. I loved this record but can see where hardcore QR fans would be disappointed
@@bluelivesmatter719 Paul Shortino is a great singer but noone can touch Kevin Dubrows energy and his screams
It takes them until 38:26 to play a song that anyone in the crowd even knows. 🙄
Janis Joplin would have done awesome on stay with me tonight
Paul is a great vocalist
I'll take him over DuBrow, any day.
@Vodagraph absolutely!
I was in the minority, but I liked this album a lot! Too bad it never got its due. There is some excellent material there that, quite honestly, surpasses a lot of the stuff from the previous three albums.
u all can hear me huh u all cause i never told huh u all i love u all.
Paul Shortino is a great singer, it was just too hard replacing someone like Kevin Du brow.
el guapo I agree, did the best he could with the back catalogue. It was never going to be perfect.
@@mightytreasure Yea and add the fact that Rought cutt fans hate that he left for Quiet Riot
read the description... Paul Shortino (Rough Cutt, nowadays in King Kobra)
Is this from a DVD that they (the band) put out themselves?
Yup, from DVD "Live in Japan" from 2004.
@@QuietRiotVault I would guess it was released on VHS back in the 80s.
!!! !!! !!!
Always nice to feel Carlos live, not listen or hear.
38:26
amy quiet riot made the voices go away amy.
shortino was great with roughcut (roughcut want's you) check it out
i cant wait to get paid tomorrow i get paid every tuesday at the bank.
Ok, well that's random.
Paul Shortino would’ve killed in Sabbath.
HOLY FUCK, CARLOS REMAINED IN Q R , WITHOUT SARZO , WOW , I AM SHOCKED THAT HE W AS THAT LOYAL !!
OK , LOVE TO HEAR SHORTINO SINGING THE METAL HEALTH STUFF
SHIT SHORTINO HAS QUITE THE CHEST , IF HE HAD SOME REAL VOCAL LESSONS AND A BETTER CONTROL OF HIS VOICE , HE CAN CARRY A NOTE AND SURELY COULD HAVE BEEN A VERY GOOD METAL / ROCK SINGER , FAR BETTER THAN HE IS . WILL SAY THOUGH , THE ONE ISSUE HE HAS WITH THE Q R STUFF IS , KEVIN WAS DEEPER , COULD GROWL MORE AND HE IS ANOTHER EXAMPLE OF SOMEONE THAT NEEDED LESSONS ON HOW TO CONTROL THEIR VOICE , HE TOO HAS A GREAT CHANCE TO BE ONE OF THE GREAT SINGERS , SURELY A MISUSE OF TALENT !!
RIP , DEBROW, YOU ARE VERY MISSED !
Agree, but Rudy Sarzo is not known to be a loyal player, yes Rudy is a great bass player but uses people all the time, Rudy us just a hire gun.
Metallion 1,968
dude , where do you hear this about Rudy , was it a guitar , or bass magazine etc ??
im ok amy and joey quiet riot did it amy and joey.
There is no QR without Kevin.
this was just a bad idea.
I thnk Paul Shortino was influenced by Steven Tyler..
Thats NOT quiet riot
Ok Pual wasn't a bad singer, he was actually pretty good. However he was shit at doing Kevin's style.
paul shortino is a much better singer than kevin ever was.I like both versions of quiet riot
Paul never compares to Kevin Quiet Riot died when Kevin died
Lol @ Bill Wren's comment. Get real ...
voices are gone the bad voices quiet riot did it made me have a good evening amy and joey did to and youtube tomorrow i get my $25.00 from fred meryers bank and i can,go to the pawn shop and bye 2 are 3 xboxs games raceing games for my new xbox360 the new used black one i got this year for christmas from my mom.
Who the hell told this guy he can sing?
Someone please shut him up!
Yo prefiero a Kevin Du brow !!
And here I thought the 2020 version sucked. Shortino is a lousy singer for QR. Not to mention the Bon Jovi look, lol, damn this is not Quiet Riot.
Kevin the better paul nooo
Не вокал не нрави
тся!
Shortino was way over qualified for the job. Should have came up with a new band name.
Quiet Riot is/was/will always be Kevin Dubrow.
Shortinos....... voice is like fingernails to a chalkboard.......
What a shitty set list.
Merle Langlois not really QR was a good album
Sucks.
Only Kevin Dubrow has the master voice of QR...this guy is just an a copycat and he doesn´t do it well
No kevin no QR
When QR went full Whitesnake.
they were but then they released 'Slip of The Tongue' & their run was ending.
It wasn't a bad record. Should have went under a different name.
@@antimurphy8212 It's not bad at all. Matter of fact I bought it when it came out and enjoyed it heaps.
Rudy Sarzo did.
Maybe because it was written by Kevin when he played in DuBrow and later it was his best know song. I don't know, because now Shortino sang Metal Health a couple of times and his version was great too...
Jimmy Waldo from New England and Alcatrazz on the keys-pretty cool!
Kevin Dubrow is one of my heroes but Paul Shortino did an amazing job in the QR. Superb display on this live show
He is no DuBrow. I can tell you that. DuBrow or it isn't QR
Quiet Whitesnake.
Pretty cool to see some rare footage/pro-shot from QR with someone else singing. Who was QR opening for this night?
I love this line-up.
Because of the new singer at the time, perhaps they should have changed the name of the band.
Like Rage against the machine did into Audio slave.
It serves them well at the time.
This was my favorite QR LP and favorite iteration of the band. Stay with me Tonight is a fantastic heavy ballad.
Rip Frankie.. you did ur best till the end, you are with Randy and Dubrow now..
without Kevin it definitely not the same...
His voice is so good but I cant imagine in quiet riot beside kevin dubrow. His energy,soul,passion..
Paul's voice doesn't fit the older songs.
Great show
The Japanese fans were easily fooled that this was not the jewish Dubrow guy.
it was when Quiet Riot tried do be Whitesnake, It's clear and obvious. The visual, the songs, the style of the guys on stage. But it didn't work
Have no interest whatsover in previous line ups, but I still regularly listen to the album that these guys made.
Shortino is the BEST!
This is not Quiet Riot. I'm sorry...
Does the full concert exist anywhere? I'd be curious to see the rest of the setlist
Kevin dubrow insubstituível
Only kevin could sing his songs
Paul Shortino has more stage presence than Kevin dubrow he deliver the sound and moves better by far.
I disagree by a mile.
TOTALLY!!!
He sounds like Axl Pose!!
Paul is a much singer but you just can beat how kevin sang these songs.
I saw Paul Shortino singing for Rough Cutt when they opened for Dio. Hes a good singer but it's a shame he never got in a band that really took off. He has more of a bluesy voice than metal. I would have been really pissed off if I saw this show and they only did Cum on Feel the Noize.....they should have done all the hits from Metal Health !!! And he forgets the lyrics to COFTN?!?!!? Totally pathetic !!!!
I don't know but it's not for nothing but I like it better when Kevin Dubrow sings it
Actually really like the songs with shortino. Nobody replaces kevin but i was a fan of his voice anyway
Paul is a good singer, but not for Quiet Riot
lol lead singer looks like Jon Bon Jovi wannabe and sounds horrible
Paul is better singer with better vocal but Kevin's style was diferent and it was his own style... i like Paul's style more than because in his vocal is more fire power and wildness ... (I think)
