Since i have been subscribed to some Canadian French car madness. I did get this video suggestion by Yt. So one I will say the thing has lot of engineering done. I do understand now why it's very hard to repair without proper training. Usually all these French cars are just so neglected or in a very awful state. Seen a few very nice XS lately that have changed my perspective on these cars from previous times. M7 nuts and bolts are also very widely used on some German cars.
Hi,Anything Citroen fascinates me. i started with an Ami 6, made in Slough in UK in the early seventies. Then I progressed to Ami 8,2 x GSA's, the odd imported Belgian 2CV, A DS 23 ,then later XM's in the '90s, C5, and finally a C5 wagon, with the last of the proper Citroen suspension. Still have my DS which needs resto now, garaged and dry, but have moved over to Volvo V70 R now. Must get the DS sorted, you are very brave, I hope you can find the parts for your BX, will hopefully follow your exploits.
Always enjoy the GS(A) stuff, but it's great to see the bigger Citroen story with the BX. Citroen & SAAB were the innovators of the time, much like Tesla is now. TorSen diff explanation video: ua-cam.com/video/JEiSTzK-A2A/v-deo.html
Bra jobbat Christian.
I bought an Citroën BX 19 TRi Last year near Halmstad in Sweden. It drove really nice only it needed a bit of welding and maintenance. Where in Sweden do you buy/find GSA/BX parts?
@@dortkommendieclowns1474 Sweden is not a Citroën country, for GS-parts I usually buy from Französische klassiker in Germany. There's a Citroën workshop in the Netherlands thats specialize in BX, de snoekfabriek, they sell parts. I haven't tried them yet but they seem pretty well organised.
Great video as usual
I like your cars very, very much!
Thank you
