Wow, this is the first time I heard about this Furbo camera and I immediately fell in love with it! Such a brilliant idea! The only thing is, I have 2 cats, no dogs. Can I get them for my cats too? How good are they?

You can definitely get the Furbo for your cats as well. However, keep in mind that the Furbo is designed primarily for dogs in mind. So you will not be able to use some of Furbo's really cool features. For example, since it is designed to detect barks, your cats meows will not register and therefore you won't be receiving push notifications on your phone. Furbos motion sensor has problems detecting cats, as they are designed for detecting humans and dogs. But overall, it is still a great camera and your cats will love it!

I got the Vstarcam after watching this video and to be perfectly honest, I was not expecting much out of it since it is relatively cheap. I thought it would not work as it is supposed to and it would be another impulse buy that ended miserably. I was so glad to be proven wrong though! It is still going strong and I love it! It does what it says on the tin and for that price, I could not ask for more. So thanks for the video bro!

You are welcome, thanks for taking the time and writing down your experience, you are awesome! Vstarcam is a great bang for the buck and it's such a cool concept. I think every cat owner should get one, especially considering its price point. My favorites in this list were the Furbo and the Vstarcam too :)

You said the Furbo camera has a bark sensor. Does that mean it will not detect regular voices or does it detect all the noises it hears? Im confused about this??

Great question, I asked the same thing when I first heard it too! Furbo has a special bark sensor, which only detects barks. It sounds crazy, I know! The camera will send push notifications to your phone when it detects barking - not other voices (so you won't be getting constant push notifications if you're living in a noisy area). It is definitely the most interesting camera on our list, I highly recommend you checking it out if you have a dog!

What size of SD card can I use with the Heimvision, I really dont want to pay for another cloud service!

The maximum size for the SD card is 128 GB, Heimvision camera has problems with bigger SD cards. But 128 GB is enough to view the last couple of days footage, even if you are recording in 1080p. Thanks for asking!

Are these cameras heavy? I'm worried about our cat knocking it over (it's his favorite pastime lol:) If they knock it over when were gone, there wouldn't be any point in having a camera after all :D

Wow, I never thought of that! Great thinking, you're right they can (and if they can, they will:) knock cameras over! The thing is, none of these cameras in this list are particularly heavy, in fact, they are quite compact. So if you don't want your cat to knock them over, I'd suggest mounting those cameras to a fixed spot. Google Nest is a great choice if you want to go into a mounting route. However, and I'm just thinking out loud here, you can also use double-sided tape or Velcro tape (3M's Dual Lock is a great example of this) to attach them to somewhere. This way you wouldn't have to drill a hole in your walls and you wouldn't need any special tools. I don't think any cat will be strong enough to dislodge the attached cameras either. Let us know in the comments which option you went with - and how are you liking it!
