- The Sonic The Hedgehog movie is finally here, and so is the marketing! From merchandise, toys and more, this movie has had a huge marketing push so far, and that includes lots of awesome toy releases. In this video, I go over one of the best plush sets released so far for the film - the set of 2 Sonic Movie plushes released by the company Toy Factory!
Toy Factory has released 2 Sonic Movie plushes so far, a small 8" plush and a larger 15" plush, and I cover both in this video along with some facts and history of both Toy Factory and the Sonic Movie in general.
Released in early 2020, these plushes are exclusive to arcades and amusement settings, but are super high quality, and just make me even more excited for this movie. Let's review them!

I mean the Sonic Drive-In brand doesn’t want to associate with Sonic The Hedgehog and SEGA also doesn’t want to give that company the connection to their character.

Man in Ham nope nothing solid other than Sonic’s refusal to ever acknowledge Sonic The Hedgehog and the fact that SEGA has at some point partnered with every national food chain except Sonic and maybe a couple others.

I've been following the Sonic Movie since it was first announced in 2014 and boy, it's kind of surprising that we're finally here, and it's finally happening.
What's even more surprising is that it's something I'm actually looking forward to. Can't say that about a lot of video game to movie adaptations.
Same. I was bit split on the portrayal of Eggman in the movie since he seemed more goofy and out there compared to his video game counterpart. But then I realized they're probably going for a Saturday morning cartoon vibe for the film, and he does have some pretty good lines and moments if the adverts are anything to go by.
I straight up cannot believe I'm in a timeline where Jim Carrey plays fucking Eggman. I remember waking up the morning after the first trailer dropped and my first thought was to check if I didn't dream that shit up. And I still occasionally go "this is bonkers, I can't believe it's happening, I have to see this, jesus christ"
I was looking forward to it before the leaks and poster reveal, but I got more hyped when they announced Ben Swartz was to voice Sonic. The movie is technically the same as it was before the design change, they didn't shoot new live a action scenes or anything like that, so even if they didn't change the design the movie would have the same scenes plot and dialogue.
@@AshXXMayftw Yes he was goofy, but he also was extremely condescending and narsassistic (Probably due to him secretly having a low self esteem caused by being an orphan who was bullied as a child), always flaunting around his 300 IQ that's off the charts.

Now all we need is an articulated Movie Sonic figure, WITH his branded PUMA shoes, hopefully In addition we can get a Jim Carrey Robotnik Articulated figure too, imagine getting them in a boxed set or something? I'd SO buy that
PUMA seriously messed up not styling the shoes after the movie version. They still look nice, but I think Sonic fans would be far more enticed to buy a pair if they looked like they do in the film.

RedSynergy2k they won’t, Sengird, a youtube, who got one of the packages with the plush and sweater, the ones that were shown in the video, btw those were his pictures, stated that the shoes will not be the puma shoes because it wasn’t possible to make puma agree
I doubt Paramount would want to pay Puma for using the shoes on merch so they have to go with unbranded ones

I think this is going to be another "Detective Pikachu". It wont be a bad film like most video game films are. It'll be good, but not as good as we'd like it to be. It'll be fine compared to others of it's genre.

I actually like his movie design more than his classic & modern look! Sure the classic & modern look are more iconic but his movie design has more life to it

Hey PatMac I think I might have a different version of this plush that might not be documented yet. mines a 14 inch plush instead of a 15 inch but it matches the 15 inch in design. The only big difference in it's overall design is that instead of having closed hands it has a thumbs up hands. On it's tag it also says it was manufactured July 2020. It also has ink printing on one of it's tags with the number 000053. Any thoughts on this?
I'm hoping somewhere out there, a prototype plush of his original design is sitting in a warehouse, waiting to be discovered

So just today, I went to an arcade, I only did a few claw machines and games, in one of them, both movie sonic and baby sonic toy factory plushies were inside, either you had to put the ping pong balls in the (what looks like) a round ball tray, there were 2 blue dots and if you got them, you get the plush’s, the other you had to put the red rings on top of the glass bottles, they were claw machine inspired, I did the ping pong one and actually got a blue dot, my mother went to get an employee and got me the baby sonic, but I wanted the movie sonic instead, and she got the plush out and put baby sonic back inside, i was super happy as this is a very good looking plush, baby sonic looked good too! I already had Jakk’s baby sonic but hey, it was cool
