it's a shame Steve Augeri doesn't get nearly enough respect (The man has amazing vocal range) the album with his vocals is really underrated
Albums with his vocals.(Arrival, Generations and the Red 13 EP). He was, and still is, a great singer who stepped into some almighty big shoes at very short notice.
I think Steve Augeri had the perfect voice for the band. If they could have only taken better care of it - what a force of nature.

Tenho a impressão de que Augeri não tinha controle total de voz, tanto que ele cantou muito em falsete e hoje em dia ele mal consegue sustentar sua voz, infelizmente.
Listen to this singer on the 2001 tour. He is really good. Taking vocals that were written for another voice, by that other voice are really hard to replicate. Steve Perry was one of the most talented rock vocalists that I have ever heard, just as good live as on the albums, and his vocal lines are extremely hard to sing, let alone sing then like he did.
Seen was Journey’s best drummer in my opinion.
I, respectfully, disagree. IMO, Steve Smith is the best drummer.
Steve Augeri is an amazing singer.
We were in the 4th row at that concert.... GREAT music, great concert!
Augerie had a good catalog of his own I think they should have focused more on making new music

For all UK Journey fans..... did you know that Anne Robinson tried to get Ross Valory on an episode of "The Weakest Link"? He declined. Probably couldn't manage an air flight without a cigarette (not surprising going by my own experience of an 80s Journey sound check.... !)

And then he blew his voice out trying to sing music that was not in his natural range. Got caught using prerecorded tracks at live shows and lost credibility. Augeri sucks. They all do.

Journey with Steve Augeri, not a cover band.
They really have the look DOWN for when they were performing in the early 2000’s. They even got a guy who looks just like Steve Perry with a perm. Oh and Steve OhPerry.

Better? Lol you better check your ears this singer nothing half of Arnel Voice. Arnel is one of the best replacement band singer as of now even he surpass Steve Perry years in band.

I disagree man Steve augeri stopes into big shoes he has phenomenal presents and he sang with his heart ! That’s what music is about signing with your soul!
He was really good in his albums, nopne not even Steve Perry could fulfill Higher Place, All the Way and Faith in the Heartland. They should have done what alter bridge did, they could have easily started a great band with Steve Augerie and went a new direction.
Vocals were painful! So flat.
Augeri is so out of tune it hurts.
