It’s nice to see someone who has a job that doesn’t make a ton of money can live comfortably in an apartment by themselves and that it could work out If you have a lifestyle like this
@Nagev Im sure the UA-cam money helps! She probably budgets very well and found a good deal for the apartment.
@Nagev She starts work at 6:30am and ends at 3. That's an 8 hour shift and 40 hours per week, which is full-time. In one of her previous videos she's mentioned her youtube income. It was around $50 a month or a bit more which isn't much. Just goes to show how great she is at budgeting.

it’s honestly so refreshing to see someone on UA-cam that has a regular job. Like it feels a lot more relatable bc this platform is saturated with so many people who live in LA and do UA-cam full-time, so it feels really nice to see that someone is just like me 😭🖤 (Not saying big UA-camrs aren’t normal people but they obviously have a higher status than most and sometimes their content just doesn’t resonate with me)

I bring a backpack to work every single day: has my crochet project for break, charger, first aid kit, feminine products, etc- I’m like the mom, “oh honey you need an ecederin”, you need a pad? Tampon? Gum?
Also I don’t technically meal prep but I take the same thing to work every day: use the same containers. Come home wash them out and put food right back into them:
Spinach tomato and veggie pattie for lunch
Yogurt frozen blueberries chia/flax for breakfast
Snack: veggie sticks

I moved it in my own 3 months ago. Never really needed a night light until then. Its a different feeling when you’re the only one in your place now.
Tiara Nache' When I lived by myself I slept with half the lights on and snuggled with a self defence torch. I’d also never slept with anything more than a pair of knickers on until I lived alone - then I started wearing full outfit PJs!

Plus, it's a lot easier to live minimally when you live alone and get to set up your home and lifestyle the way you want it.

I think you are one of the realist human beings on this planet. Everything has a place in your apartment. Everything looks so clean and refreshing. I love how each individual item has a use and there aren't two and three duplicates of your stuff! The only thing Iwas curious about is if your job is only 10 minutes away, would you be able to even more of a minimalist and WALK to work?? I had my own apartment years ago, directly in the center of town in a duplex. Never in my life did I feel so accomplished! I walked to every single day, even in the snow. Sometimes I would ride my bike. I bet I saved hundreds of dollars on gas those years. I had everything right within my walking distance. Convenience stores, the post office, the public library, Main Street with little restaurants and boutiques and hair stylists. It was the best time of my life. Thanks for sharing your life with us, and thanks for the trip down memory lane!
A few months/ years ago I was so obsessed with the channel "light by coco" till she cancelled her channel I looking for similar youtubers.... but no chance. A few months ago find your channel and I feel the same happiness when you put a video online.and it makes me just as happy. even though you are not a copy of her but an own authentic minimalist.you two are the only youtubers whose videos I can watch several times.... ❤

I wouldn’t call telling people you run a UA-cam channel “showing off”. Also find it interesting people question that you carry a backpack around. My girlfriend uses a small backpack as a purse so she takes it literally every where. I’ve graduated and have a job and I carry my backpack to work all the time. Tons of people do it here in my town. Maybe it’s an environment type thing. Cool vid.

I’m 44 and still carry a back pack everywhere is go. Back packs are so practical and much better for your back than a heavy handbag hanging on one shoulder. Also I don’t care what people think. 😆👍🏼💖 Fab video!
Wow that's cool!! I never thought of using a backpack as a purse. In 2018 my mom bought me this backpack it's was so fuctional it held my big resusable water bottle, clothes, food like everything. I carried it to my job then and it was awesome!! So much better than a purse. Unfortunately I got rid of it 😔. It was small but it could a lot of things and it wasn't heavy.

I live like this as well...I work a 42 hr job 5 days a week thankful for a uniform and living minimalist is the most peaceful lifestyle....I do have my own treadmil...its my baby...and having a healthy and all natural diet and lifestyle makes all the difference in the world.....I keep my hair real short though which helps me save on $ time and products...When I worked days I had 4 alarms...all snoozed for 5 mins each...and I have night lights all over so I am lit up always....and what is wrong with a backpack...I have always been a backpack person...since when it is only for school....people need to expand their minds really....GOOD FOR YOU...KEEP DOING YOUR THING ITS FABULOUS 💜

The best decision I've made is to keep the blinds open to wake me up naturally in the morning. Before I used to sleep in so late no matter how early I went to sleep, because of my black out shades. I used to be late for everything! Now I wake up early and actually have time for myself and make it to meetings on time lol
Love this! Try not to put your backpack on the floor at work esp not in the bathroom! You ended up putting it on the kitchen table and dragging all those germs in. Just a little tip 😊

Kelli Ann, there are different types of germs. Ones in the bathrooms, especially public ones, can be incredibly harmful, ranging from cholera to staph. There can be up to over 70,000 different types. Yes, you may get away with it sometimes, but it just takes one bad contact to turn it into a nightmare. Call me a germaphobe, but I alway have my bags in a designated place, especially since I walk without shoes around the home. Home is where you should feel comfortable and clean. It just feels incredibly liberating to not have to worry.

I love your videos/lifestyle. For long I been searching for more simple ways of living and be happy, I convinced my husband and we are buying a bag for each one of us including our 8 & 6 year old, to start educating ourselves more about minimalism. We purchased a Sailboat but are not traveling yet because we are saving up money, on the meantime we want to travel all US states and doing it as a minimalist I think is a great idea. It is not what you have/own is how you feel about life 😊

I try to go to sleep earlier, though. That way I get enough sleep, and the sun alone wakes me up gradually instead of my alarm jolting me awake and giving me instant anxiety/feeling of urgency.
I have to ease into my mornings. Otherwise, I'm rushing from the instant I wake up, and that just sets me up for a whole day of anxiety and stress.

Best thing I use to clean wisdom teeth and help reduce pain and inflammation is coconut oil. Look up “oil pulling with coconut oil” It’s a natural antibiotic

I had problems with cleaning my wisdom teeth, too. My dentist recommended a electric toothbrush to me and it is amazing how simple it is to clean my wisdom teeth with it 👍🏻. You have to try it out 😊.

For a tip for AirPods, it takes 15 min to charge both ear pieces and it lasts for 3 hours. Or 6 hours if you use one

I completely respect that you don't show your job! Especially if HIPAA is involved. I do respect that you do dishes in the morning and waitress in the afternoon, that is a hard, tiring job. My son works at a chain restaurant and does dishes in the morning and switches to grill in the afternoon and comes home wrecked.

Just a suggestion.. I noticed you used the same wand on your eyes and eyebrows to apply the castor oil.. You might want to reverse the order to apply it on your eyes first and then on the eyebrows.. That way it would reduce chances of an eye infection..
But overall, I loved the video..
