    Great topic! This was one of the reasons that I made my UA-cam channel, including sharing it with friends and family. It's great to be able to go back and see how much progress you've made, and a great way to see what you need to work on.

    Depending on the recording app you use, it may also be possible to tag entries, by, for example, song title. Then you have a way to pull up the various times you've recorded, say, Arkansas Traveler over several months or years for easy comparison (assuming you haven't played the tune regularly).

    Hey! I used only my phone sometimes (I’m an adult beginner) and of course, it always sounds bad 🥺

      A simple USB mic (with a phone adapter) can support more quality in our recording. Good to hear you're giving it a go anyways, can support us in ways we wouldn't otherwise notice.
