Great topic! This was one of the reasons that I made my UA-cam channel, including sharing it with friends and family. It's great to be able to go back and see how much progress you've made, and a great way to see what you need to work on.
Awesome Kenney, thanks for sharing your experience with this. UA-cam is a great archive for this. Enjoy your music process. Appreciate you being here 🙂
Depending on the recording app you use, it may also be possible to tag entries, by, for example, song title. Then you have a way to pull up the various times you've recorded, say, Arkansas Traveler over several months or years for easy comparison (assuming you haven't played the tune regularly).
Hello 🙂 I understand. A simple USB mic (with a phone adapter) can support more quality in our recording. Good to hear you're giving it a go anyways, can support us in ways we wouldn't otherwise notice. We have a Guide available that you, or someone you know, may enjoy: fiddlehed.com/blog/how-to-play-violin-an-illustrated-beginners-guide-fiddlehed/ Thanks for tuning in!
@@fiddl3hed Hey, thank you for your detailed answer!! I will get myself a little mic then. And thank you as well for this guide, will definitley use it! Thanks a lot 😍

Yes, Pete! That's a valuable method for going back to experience how that same song/skill has evolved over time. Thanks for mentioning this 👍🏾
Hey! I used only my phone sometimes (I’m an adult beginner) and of course, it always sounds bad 🥺
