Given the amount of time and effort you put in to help other people to learn to play, it's great to see you having some well-deserved quality time with your family, doing something for yourself. A great video! Thank you, Jason.
Love the post and great tune! I started bringing my fiddle on the road and practicing on all my airline trips 2 years ago when my daughter was born because I didn’t have much time at home with a newborn and a 2 year old! It has been really expanding for my fiddle playing since it forces you to find interesting places to hunker down and play by yourself at the place you are staying or go out and play outside around people or in a pub!
What a wonderful, heartfelt video, Jason. So inspiring, and I'm so happy that you and your family *made* the opportunity to take your trip. Also had to laugh about the teacup ring on the antique table. We just keep learning new lessons, large and small, no matter our age, don't we! 😅
I love the random thoughts and musing! Taking the time to reflect ... and practice!.. in different places, with different people. So good for the soul. And the playing! Thanks for another great video! 🙏🏻
