Vanilla Wafer Cake-No Flour Needed!

Hey everyone!
I got the idea for this cake in an old church cookbook I had. The idea of using vanilla wafers instead of flour to make a cake was really intriguing to me and I had a lot of fun testing this one out.
This cake is moist, with vanilla flavor plus shredded coconut and nuts. Feel free to add a glaze to it. I just added powdered sugar, but I think it would also be good with a caramel sauce on it or some whipped cream.

I've been making this cake since the early 80s. I absolutely love it. Taste very good in the mornings heated up in the microwave with a little pat of butter. I don't add any powder sugar or any type of topping.❤😊
