My spiritual home for most of my life, Pitlochry is a heavenly town, set in some of the most beautiful Scottish scenery. I hold and cherish so many wonderful memories of my visits here, Initially over many years with Mum, Dad, and my sisters Sandra and Moira. Sadly, they are all gone now, but never far from my thoughts and memories. I continue to visit Pitlochry today, at least once a year, with my partner, and I still get the same feeling of warmth, love, and contentment on every visit. Pitlochry is certainly a must for visitors from near or far. I just feel so blessed that I am little more than a hour away by road.
I loved this. This was very informative. I passed by Pitlochry on my way to Inverness 🏴 and I was struck by the number of tourists who were there. New subscriber gained 😃‼️ Keep up the good work.
Thanks for your kind words and I am glad you liked this video :) Another great place to visit it Cupar if you're in the area, check this out: ua-cam.com/video/rvfPPxG8iHg/v-deo.html
Would just like to say you are unlikely to see Salmon leaping up the steps on the fish ladder, as they can swim up through underwater pipes which connect them. There is however a glass viewing section where you can see fish passing through, if you're lucky.

Ahhh, that explains it - thanks for letting me know :)
The glass viewing chamber was sadly removed a few years ago. Replaced now by screens.
