true.
In fact, I’ve done recording sessions with a couple of John Mayer’s bandmates and they all agree. John is a phenomenal guitar player and musician.
Today I want to share with you a bluesy groove he played in 2010 at the Crossroads Guitar Festival. He’s backed by two legends Steve Jordan on drums, and Pino Palladino on bass.
And while this song isn’t considered a traditional blues. (It’s not old enough) In 2024, I’d consider it a must-know blues jam.

I literally just watched your Bill Withers version, first video of yours I had seen. Then this video drops. This was EXACTLY what I was looking for!!! Love the John Mayer tutorials. Love the way you teach it too! Like I commented in the Bill Withers video you made, I would love it if you would open up with a short demo of what you are going to teach. I really need that to determine if I'm interested in learning what you are about to teach. Love the video quality. Love the teaching style. Love everything else you are doing here.
