I’m American too. First Rugby game was in 2001. Tahs vs British Irish Lions. I had just lived in Manchester UK. I was pulling for Tahs. Had no idea what was going on.
@@usarugbyleagueunionfan Ahhhh so cool! I fell in love with Rugby by playing the PS2 game in 05, was hooked. Then in 07 I lived in South London so I was able to see lots of games. I hate that Super Rugby is not as big as it used to be like back in the day. Do you like NRL?

Now that the crusaders have fallen apart it really has opened up our eyes to the full extent of sevu Reese and his skill level. He’s single handedly carried the team this year every single week, he’s got to be the most in from winger in the world. His defence is just incredible, he covers 3-4 players on his own

It's his first year and suffered some fairly big senior player losses in the retirements and such. He's got a guaranteed year to figure things out. Next year he'll be on the block if they don't perform.
They should cancel all their gamss for the season. Grt some u/19 playerd who actually can play rugby, and wtart fresh next year. This defence and 8 out of 15 players arr the only ones who deserve a spot. Clearly

The Crusaders of 2017-2023 were untouchable. 7 seasons of absolute domination under Razor. This group have fallen off a cliff, yes they've lost key Players and coaches but the drop off this season has been glaring. Bottom of the ladder and 1 win in 8 says it all.
It actually hurts to watch
Iv noticed the crusaders have been slowly slipping the last 2-3 years , yes I realise they’ve won the title each year… but the games they were playing became much much closer, last year they won half of their games by less than a point or two, plus they won a fee controversial last minute games. Basically they used to be untouchable, but last few years they’ve became human and very capable of beating on the day.
Still with all of this in regard I would never in my wildest dreams had ever believed that in week 9 it’s looking extremely likely that they’re not even going to make the playoffs ! It’s absolutely mind blowing
That second "try" by Crusaders looked like a knock-on over the line. Did the refs not even check it?

After 7 years straight as SR Champions and total overall with 14 SR titles, no wonder everyone is happy Crusaders are not doing well this year and everyone finally has a chance to win a SR title. Last time I checked the closet is Blues with 4 SR titles 😂😂😂

Worst Crusaders season ever. Coach must be sacked/ fired at the end of the campaign . Players need to sort themselves out. They know how to win. So ignore the coach because he obviously does not have a clue.

The last try was a penalty try. Why was there a conversion? Did the TMO review it, decided that it was a..."normal" try (it didn't look like the Crusaders collapsed the maul) and the conversion had to be taken?

Because he has a fairly good coaching record. His NPC run with Canterbury was great. He did well at Munster, and dragged the Shining Arcs off the floor to make playoffs regularly.
Quality of NZ rugby is deteriorating. Young NZ athletes chose other sports/overseas probably because of better pay, reducing the talent pool.
The problem is he doesnt have a team sheet laden with All Blacks.
Rob Penney is a total fraud. The bloke has been stealing a living being a fraudulent coach. Failed at Munster. Failed at Shining Arcs. Failed at Waratahs. Failed at Crusaders. Only reason he got hired as Crusaders head coach was due to nepotism.

Dont follow much of the SH comps anymore since the Boks are playing up north, but it seems like the guard has changed drastically as the Crusaders are looking absolutely shocking.

@@velimasuku8808 Reasons are not always excuses. They lost because they didn't play well, and some of the reasons are staff and player turnover. They have a lot of inexperience and now a lot of issues with confidence.

Actually Canes lost their coach to ABs as well as Coles, Ardie and Julian and in season lost Cam Roigard

Always thought the only reason Reece scores tries cause it’s the crusaders and they make him look good cause they can create space for him but since the crusaders have hit a bit of a slump it’s still Reece that’s putting in all the hard work. I was so wrong about him. Keep up the good work Reece!

Well let's face it, this Force team has stepped up and brought in great players like Nick White and Kurtley Beale. The rest of the players are feeding off them. Not the same Force that used to be a punching bag.
For the Crusaders, a lot of guys in that squad don't deserve that kind of season attached to them. Specifically stand out men like Sevu Reece.

This season of Super rugby has been full of surprises and is competitive 👍
Yea Aussie teams have 7 wins and 8 losses so far which is already better than previous seasons. But the top 2 kiwi teams are looking far better than the rest and each will probably only lose to each other, but next weeks round has the Reds at home against the Blues and Brumbies at home against the Canes so hopefully those aussie sides prove me wrong
