- Archetype Racing was started by my good friend Curtis a couple years ago with the primary goal of making aero parts for his own car which is also a GT350. Curtis has since expanded to actually manufacturing these aero parts which you see here on Sheedy's 350. These parts are literally bulletproof.

I still remember when people were smug enough to bash mustangs on the regular until the Boss 302 laguna Seca dropped. I would tell people mustangs may have been iffy in stock factory form but they had far more potential in them than most people realized. For decades Mustangs were ruling competition pro GT racing. SCCA racing and some outfits like Saleen even took the late model SN95 to lemans 24hrs. That the very race than premiered the mclaren F1's two sn95 Saleen mustangs also competed in that race!. now you have to understand, im talking the sn95! chassis mustang, and aside from gearbox failure one of the two cars faired better than most cars on the grid. People also forget just ow many of those mclaren F1 dnf'ed. some catching fire. A race where to qualify your car must be able to manage a 200mph average on the mulsane straight. must qualify against the worlds best!! People thought of the mustang as only a straight line drag racer when if properly tuned it could be much much more. with the automotive crisis of the early 2k's Ford Finally gave respect to mustang as it was their only product that gave the company any respectable credit save the focus rs. then with a new batch of young engineers and heads at ford and the leadership of Alan Mullally coming over from Boeing Ford doubled down on its performance lineup starting with the FordGT then the Mustang. raptor came in and it all changed when the Shelby's took to doing what Saleen did with Mustang. Ironic because it was those older original Shelby's that Saw Saleen to his fame. He would later pattern his own company after Shelby which took up the slack in the old mans wake. Ford would finally make their own Shelbys and the game would change again.
