My chi mix tilts his head every time he hears an ambulance or police car sounding their approach on tv or on the street. It’s so cute to watch. We call it curiosity.
THEY UNDERSTAND MORE THAN WE THINK THEY DO !! I LOVE WHEN MY G. S. DOES THIS, I, OR WE KEEP TALKING TO HER, & SHE PICKS UP ON A LOT OF WHAT WE'ER SAYING & REACTS IN MANY FUNNY WAYS!! ALL DOGS ARE SMART !! ☺🙃🥰❤🐕🦺🦮🤠❤👌🤏🤞🤟🤘🤙👍👍👍👍👍🙏❤😇☺😉
My dog doesn't do it a lot. Only when you put one of those toys that talks or sings in front of her or speak to her in a funny voice. I had a friend who used to do it a lot 🤣
OK, Collies don't tilt the head for vision reasons, they keep their nose/snout on a 45 degree angle so they can see straight forward. I've got 2 Collies, had four, they all tilt their heard 45 degrees. Point invalid.

It's your dog's way of doing a De Niro 'You talking to me?' impression

I think it’s dog for, “Are you an idiot?”
narration AND text makes me dizzy
