I feel like when and if this meta goes away, another will be there, and people will complain about that meta, it'll be changed and there will be another meta for someone to complain about. It just feels like no matter what happens, people will always complain about the current meta.
Unfortunately they keep nerfing everything that's good instead of buffing what's bad. Whoever makes these changes needs to be fired and someone that genuinely understands how shit works needs to take over cuz clearly they don't know how to keep a semi balanced meta
Its only the meta in comp and diamond+ 3 stacks, coordination between blood and bang is required to use them right. For most casuals in pubs and soloq low ranks the best characters to play are still horizon, wraith, Pathfinder etc.
I would like a small buff to wattson, I don't know, but often I have the feeling that she is not as strong as the other controllers for securing a building or something like this... I think it's also heavy that she is the only controle legend that can't block doors and only destroy them, and the fences are way too flashy
I think her nodes need to take more damage. Currently it's too easy for a someone to double tap a node and keep on pushing in. If her nodes took 75-100 damage to break it would definitely slow down someone trying to push into a building with a Wattson. I think the bubble temporarily blocking the fences is a good counter to Wattson though. But on the other hand, Caustic gas breaking the nodes is a little stupid.
Wattson is the 4th most used legend in comp. Wattson does not need a buff. She is extremely useful. Way better then Caustic and Rampart. And then whether you more of a zone or edge team dictates whether you want Catalyst or Watt.
Idk maybe just make gibby bubble not block fence nodes as a watson main ive never seen this done but also being a lower plat high gold every season i think your perspective is from a top level play. Im always gonna be in favor of them buffing weaker legends as opposed to nerfing ones just cause they have good synergy.
This meta isn't that bad but fighting in smoke sucks and even worse to watch. I think Bloodhound is in a good spot as-is. Bangalore on the other hand I think could use a rework or at least a tactical change. I'd like to see them get rid of the smoke altogether and give her more of an offensive ability. Since Bang already has a launcher to make less changes to the Legend animations, instead of a smoke launcher she could have a grenade launcher similar to what Battery had in Black Ops 4. It could have 2 shots and it could even have some type of granade that only damages shields so it doesn't become too oppressive.
nah bro there is far too much open ground for there not to be a legend to cover that distance constantly and effectively, unfortunately “smoke” is the easiest way but they should change it so that once you’re in the smoke you can see clearly in it but can’t see out of it
@@Taaxmaan Being able to see while in the smoke but others can't see you if they're outside the smoke is broken. There was a glitch that caused that and it was crazy OP. There's plenty of other legends that can cover distance in open ground safely. Catalest wall, Wraith portal, Ash portal, GIbby bubble helps, New Castle tactical and ULT help, and even Path Zip works but less safe. Then you have individual abilities like Loba bracelet, Rev jump, Octane stim and jump pad. There's always been open ground and Bang wasn't needed before.

I’m pretty sure it comes to both characters not only synergizing well, but also just nerfing bloodhound would just push in the favor of Bangalore oppressing everyone, but nerfing Bangalore would also probably employ a much more defensive or offensive play style because the well rounded utility isn’t really there.
I think they could make bang only have 1 smoke so there is less clutter. Also maybe if respawn makes a map that has more cover and less open areas that is viable for comp then maybe we will see a less of a need for bang and the meta will change
its just works like a melting pot thats why dota and league has hundreds of skills. bang already got nerfed but shes still viable. 50s blood q is insane even mirage ult is 30s never talk again. buff the other counterpart.

The algs meta does not always translate to the larger player base. It’s a shame so many balance changes are made based on what the top 1% of players are exploiting
