Best part of the video is the pup goin hamm every time you catch a fish 🤣🤣🤣 I had a pup that was the same way and whenever I would release it he was dogging and searching for it 😊😊😊
Amazing video! As a local albertan and fly-fishermen, I can say are weather hear is never predictable. Especially winter time. Happy to see you all had a good time and hope you guys will come back again! Try the fishing in Northern alberta and Saskatchewan for giant northern pike and lake trout eventually. Most definitely not on a fly road, but the fight is like no other.
Reminds me of a time me, my brother and his friend went fishing in a Sierra creek for the day. Was early season, second week of May and the water was still high. My brother’s friend caught a brown after about an hour. Not long after that, a thunderstorm rolled in and was dumping rain and hail on us. We tried to stay little longer but it was cold and the hail was brutal. Rained on us all the way back down the mountain and then was sunny again in the valley.
As a BC resident of 5 years the fishing here is amazing but I totally get when they talk about the permit system. My dad has come over from Ireland (where I’m originally from) for a couple fishing trips and we always need to be super careful about where you are fishing, when you are fishing it (if your a non res you can’t fish a lot of classified waters on the weekends) it’s quite tricky but also respect the work that goes into keeping it under regulation and protecting the fish. Awesome video as usual
Awesome video scotty, cannot wait for part 2! Always get pumped when I get the notification for a new wild fly. Have to come out to the mid west and do some fly fishing in Michigan sometime.
Nice, some beautiful scenery and great fishing. Your videos are very well done , you are becoming a master of your craft . Thanks for sharing your adventures.
The classified waters in BC are pretty few and far between. You can fish most rivers and lakes without it. You just need to read the guidelines on any water you plan to fish because there could be specific closures, hook limits and bait bans. The BC guide is in depth but it's definitely worth it.
Stoked to see you guys up in BC! Have to try going further north into the interior and fishing for arctic grayling. We have some awesome bull trout and grayling watersheds up here.
Dumb question but, how does drift boating work? Like you have to put the boat in up river, and then do you have to like drive the trailer down river and walk back to the boat or what? Have someone else tag along to drive it down?
In September I was caught off guard in a hail storm wading the South Platte in Colorado and had to dive into a bush for 15 minutes until it passed. The streamer bite after the storm passed over was insane. Everything, including the giants hiding in the undercut banks, were out in a feeding frenzy. Best couple hrs of fishing I had the whole trip.
Great video and great production. Your title of the video is slightly different from what you will have time to achieve in 4 days. Canada's pretty big, but you guys nailed the western part.
My brother and I got caught in a hail storm on a guided float trip once before and it appeared that the guide had experienced that before as he pulled out the heavy duty tarp and we were able to hunker down under the tarp in the boat without too much of an issue.
Damn I was up in that area twice this summer would have love to met up with you guys. Incredible area and incredible vid. PS my wife wants to know if you and Adam/hobo Steve broke up?
Wore my new Wild Fly hat to Guns n Roses tonight, bummer living in Alaska if you like concerts. Would be cool to hook up and fish with you here (Utah) or back home in AK, Dave
Парни, вы снимаете отличные видео)очень классно за вами наблюдать)только один вопрос не дает мне покоя, как вы перемещаете машину? Или на дороге вы тащите лодку за собой на прицепе, а на воде уже машину тащите за лодкой?)
I understand not everything has to be for me but anyone just find the boat content boring? Just find the adventuring and wading the water more interesting.
Watch some random UA-cam videos hoping for some entertainment while not fishing or watch a wild fly video and get what you came for umm yeah easy decision
Watch Episode 2: ua-cam.com/video/rGNhhGi8B-E/v-deo.html
Sunday night football or wild fly…..easy decision 🎣
split screen
Dude, I'd watch the entire back catalog of wildfly videos before ever even entertaining the idea of watching sunday night football.
Exactly what I did 😉
14:57 with the net on the head had me rolling😂 love you guys
Best part of the video is the pup goin hamm every time you catch a fish 🤣🤣🤣 I had a pup that was the same way and whenever I would release it he was dogging and searching for it 😊😊😊

There are shuttle services that move vehicles for a fee.
Awesome video! Glad it survived.

A shuttle service moved the van to our take out boat ramp.
@@WildFlyProductionsOh wow thats great! Amazing content legend.
When are you going to do a winter steelhead video? Can't even imagine the video you'd make on the Eel River with a spey rod
I got nuked with hail out there as well. Fav place on earth.
The LA river is clearer than that. Yikes that river was a sewer. But you connected on a nice fish which is awesome!
Lol
It’s rock dust from all the glaciers in the surrounding mountains
I understand not everything has to be for me but anyone just find the boat content boring? Just find the adventuring and wading the water more interesting.

Nope. Will made his own video on his channel. Same trip, just different videos.
