I'm active duty, USAF. Our civilian force is our most powerful weapon. Any enemy that would dare test America won't find the greatest threat in the skies or on the seas, the greatest threat for them will come from the neighborhoods. A lot of us are very well trained and feel immense pride in our nation, despite what the news/social media say. *nothing posted by this account is endorsed by or representative of the USAF or any other DOD organization.*
I think 2021 was our worst year for “gun violence” and it was over 40,000 deaths, over half were suicide… those who deny it’s a mental health problem are simply ignorant and devilish. Around 20,000 were homicides which divided over 50 states is 300-500 and around 330million us citizens, it doesn’t reach above or close to 0%. if you exclude gang violence and other drug related crime i think that number will drop dramatically.
I get what this country law , it’s the way it is , 2nd amendment. With that said , what’s the odd he will encounter the intruders in his house ? Slim to none , with all the firearms he has, the chance he shot himself in the head and his kids getting shot is higher . What’s he’s trying to defense ? A Fort Knox ? It’s not for self defense, he just obsesses with gun , this guy has a gun obsession, he’s having an orgasm with it , that’s what that is
Gang violence is the real problem. As a minority who grew up in the inner-city, I've seen plenty of violence. It's why I chose to live around White people now.
Our gun rights are not for hunting and home defense. Our gun rights were drafted to stop a tyrannical government. America was founded by people that escaped other countries in the world, fleeing from forms of government and monarchies that were ruled by few, who ruled over and dominated the majority, and nobody could fight back. Those who refused to live by the yoke of slavery and domination, boarded ships and sailed into the unknown. They knew they would probably die on the trip to America, but death was better than slavery, and they took the risk. When they arrived, they began the framework for a free society, by the people and for the people. The first amendment is the freedom of speech. The second amendment is the right to bear arms. Guns were the second most important of all rights for a good reason. When a government disarms a populous, it's game over.
America is cucked. You people won't even use your 2A for what it was intended for. You've got tyrannical, militarized police, a government that was selected for you with puppet figureheads and 97% of you are all complacent as can be. All you do is whine and make vids and then go sit on the couch and do absolutely nothing about your situation. You vote like it really matters as if it will change anything. America is cooked. You've been invaded but you won't do anything to repel the invaders. Your 2A tree is a dried out shrub of what it once was. I could almost feel sorry for America if you people would actually do anything substantial to fix/change your current situation.
The basic American gunowner loadout for home defense and SHTF is -AR-15 or equivalent -12 gauge shotgun -Semi-auto pistol. Usually 9mm, .45 ACP, .40 S&W, or 10mm.
@@HalfCrazy520 Eh, I see where you're coming from, but I don't think those are the most practical or cost-effective tools now. The Mossberg 500 and Maverick 88 do the same job for less than the 870. Remington isn't what they used to be. The 1911 has been surpassed as a defensive tool for a few reasons. Glocks and other similar designs are easier to carry and less expensive than a decent 1911.
I cringe when people say the obvious. It's like saying hey the best car for a vacation is the one that has the most gas in it. Stop with the cringy comments.
Arkansas is the #2 most gun-friendly state behind West Virginia. We're not all hicks but most of us love our guns. Many have college degrees in my small town. We prefer country living where we have room to have a pistol range on our property.
Government taking your guns is b.s. scare tactics for a bunch of reasons before anyone fires a shot. Remember Clinton was supposedly going to take your guns and then Obama was supposedly going to take your guns and finally Biden was supposedly going to take your guns. In the case of Obama, all he tried to do was prohibit selling guns to people on the the no fly list, and he was legally blocked. I would recommend something to my gun loving friends. Don't worry, there are absolutely no plans for someone trying to take away everyone's guns because it's politically, legally and practically impossible. But, did you know the guy who killed 7 people at a 4th of July parade in Highland Park Illinois had been reported to the police for wanting to kill himself and other people just 6 months prior. Then six months later his Dad who had done the reporting, signed a consent to allow the purchase. I'm sure there are plenty of responsible gun owners who see that as a problem and those are the folks that need to point the way.
@@AlexanderWinterborn-r6p but the argument isn't that a bunch of randos with guns could fight and win a conventional civil war against the side with tanks and jets and nukes. the argument is that any type of tyrannical regime could not maintain order. how are you going to round up all the political dissidents when there are millions of them with guns and green tip? you can't be everywhere at all times with jets and tanks. i'm also not saying that a bid to cause chaos and regime failure would succeed (though i'm not saying it wouldn't either) but i'd sure as hell rather be armed than not!
If the founding fathers had intended the citizens to not have firearms then why did they allow citizens to possess firearms. The 2nd amendment speaks of a well regulated malitia for keeping security of a free state, then there is a comma.A comma is placed there to separate ideas or even alter the structure of the sentence.Which then states the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed.its speaking of two separate things.the fact that from the founding of the nation citizens were allowed to possess the same firearms that the military used should be proof of what was intended. And of course being able to understand sentence structure helps also.
And to those who say if a civil war breaks out one side would have rifles and the other side would have jets and tanks, well they are ignorant. It would be very similar to the civil war of 1861-1865.The states that seceed would keep any armaments in their possession, not to mention that most firearms companies have moved their factories to so called red states.Half of the U.S. military personnel would choose one side or the other. Both sides would possess tanks, jets, artillery, rockets etc.And it would be extremely bloody.
We were told in know uncertain terms while growing up that firearms are NOT playthings, we knew where they were but were also taught how to handle them, and told we better not touch them unless it was truly a life and death situation that we couldn't escape from.
Same here. At 5 years old, my dad showed me where the guns and the ammo were, told me "These are tools, not toys. And if I ever find out you touched them--" he didn't finish the statement, nor did he need to. At 12 years old, he taught me to shoot em.
You can buy a gun for any reason or no reason. You can buy it because you like the way it looks. You can collect guns because of their art or historic value. There is no bad reason to buy a gun.
@@tomjackson4374 "There is no bad reason to buy a gun." Well, that's mostly true, but there are purposes to which any one particular firearm is ill-suited for. For example, I wouldn't select a Winchester Mod 70 with a 1x14 scope on it for a home defense rifle. Similarly, I'm not using a 7.5-inch barrel AR-15 for a DMR. Match the tool to the job, and the person.
@@StupidAnon-gn8ih You mean to tell me that I can't use my M1 Abrams for home defense?? Pshh!!! Guess again! F them and everything in that general direction for 5 miles!!
I keep a 12 gauge shot gun with "Buck and Ball" i.e. buckshot alternated with slugs by my bed. I'm a retired Combat Marine (2 tours in Vietnam) and a retired Calif. police office (Marin County) I also openly carry a pistol when I'm away from home. I live in Arizona where it's legal. We have no kids or grandkids and no children ever in the house. My wife is equally trained in firearms. El Mirage, Arizona
For home defense I have a 9mm Canik, I also use it for USPSA and IDPA shooting competitions, and a 12 gauge pump shotgun. Both have "red dot" reflex sights.
Can't hate on the red dot, right? It's practically the same thing as searching for irons when aiming. You practice, get used to it, and kick some butt!
@@DashRiprock513you have to aim a shotgun with buck, just like you would a rifle. The pattern at inside the home distances aren’t enough to just spray and pray. You’re mileage may vary.
A shotgun is only around $200 and will stop an attack really quickly. Also you'd be surprised how many non-military and non-police people can shoot this well. Some of us are at the shooting range every other weekend.
On the comttary, there's also a lot of people who simply buy a gun and have took it to the range once. This is why people bring up training with your firearms so often.
Any nation that does not have gun rights, does not have free citizens (and who's to blame for that?). Self defense is one of the most fundamental of natural human rights.

Best home defense is dogs if you're in a house. Any out of place noise will set them off. Heavy slat blinds on windows will make a lot of noise if something comes through. I have my lights hooked up to apps, so if the dogs go on alert, I light up everything. Grab the phone, grab the self defense, and go let the dogs out and check all the entry points.
Just a bit of unsolicited advice. Only turn on the exterior lights. It will illuminate the danger. With interior lights now you are back lit silhouetting you.
Some context about that pistol he’s using. It’s a staccato P which is a race gun. Most people can’t afford something that finely crafted, you also wouldn’t want the police to take that for evidence. The dude has skills but the pistol is definitely doing more heavy lifting than a standard handgun
Yes that staccato is tricked out but he’s a really good shooter you should see him shoot a stock handgun he’s just as good. Maybe not as fast but still good. He’s just a good shooter he trains a lot.
Not to to mention the SCAR. Like brother I have a family and if I wanted to get rid of them then yeah I’ll buy a SCAR because the wife will pack her shit after yet another gun purchase at that price! Lol pretty sure your looking at $1900 - $2200 on that one
No I own a staccato p it’s a carry gun not a race gun, that’s why it has a 3-4lb trigger also pewview is insane with any gun not just his staccato p as well as he can do things most gun owners can only dream of doing. Don’t disrespect someone’s skills and effort.
Watch his other videos. The gun isn’t doing the heavy lifting…… he shoots striker fired stuff very similarly. Split times of 1.5 or less on basically any handgun. Yes he runs 2011s better, but he’s top notch
The staccato P is a duty pistol. Not a race gun. It’s a pretty basic double stack 9mm 1911.. the 4.4” P is the main staccato pistol carried by law enforcement. The Stsccato XL is more of a “race” gun and what I run in USPSA limited optics. The XC would also be more of a race gun except the comp puts the gun in open decision in USPSA where it would be at a disadvantage when compared to the REAL open decision race guns with massive comps, thumb rests, and fix mounted optics.. please stop typing nonsense..
Red dot isn't a laser system. It is an aiming function. Picture a bow and arrow, you need line up the front and back to aim and hit your target. Red dot takes away the need for physical sights on the gun and replaces it with a "screen" showing it's lined up
@@exothermal.sprocketI'd even say the only good reason for a laser is night vision. Red dots work fine and you'd want the gun shouldered and properly gripped anyways, why not get something that doesn't shoot a bright red circle onto the wall and give away where you're coming from
@@justjoe5373 Grip lasers don't have to be activated to point. Also they aren't necessarily revealing. I could point a laser dot around a crowded room and it might take a while before anyone noticed, just for example. Perps don't spend time looking down at their collarbones.
@@exothermal.sprocket Yeah but what if the room is dark and empty? All of a sudden a bright red moving dot becomes quite a bit easier to spot, even in peripheral vision. You don't need to be looking directly at it to spot it
Yass & Fats, with the turmoil being broadcast in London, I hope y'all adopt our 2nd Amendment. Because the Authorities only come to chalk outline victims. God Bless.
They would adopt gas chambers in The UK before the 2A. The UK locks people up everyday for basic socail media post. 2 days ago a guy was arrested for a post with a Union Jack British flag because it was offending people.
This guy is just another American who enjoys challenging himself to be very proficient with his guns, as well as very capable to defend himself and his family. Many Americans are like this. They don't need to be a pro or even a competitor to be this proficient. I personally am not as proficient as he is. I also have not been shooting as long or as much as he has. However, I have got training with my firearms and will be getting more, and I practice with my firearms, but need to get to the range more often. There are all levels of armed Americans, but the level that many reach is just phenomenal, such as this gentleman. BTW, there are more than 80 million armed Americans. Notice that these tens of millions of people have never harmed anyone. It is the crazed criminals that give guns a bad rep. It is what they do with guns that is bad, not that the gun exists. If that were the case, there would be a big push to confiscate motor vehicles which drunk drivers use to kill themselves and others in HIGHER NUMBERS THAN PEOPLE KILLED WITH GUNS.
1:36 I PROMISE you, regardless of what mainstream media and the news says about us gun owners. That is the mentality all of us have, we want to express our rights to be protected, to keep our families safe. We really do care about safety and protection more than the anti gunners do 🤷🏾♂️
Yupp, they put all their buddies in high places of the police. And when something happens to you.. They either run away, or refuse to show up. Thats whats happening in these blue cities in the US, RIGHT NOW. And if you protect yourself, the criminal who was the catalyst to the situation, becomes the victim.
my personal preference is AR pistol with a promag drum filled with 556 hollow points. the drum is very reliable and provides high capacity so that running out of rounds or really just the THOUGHT of running out of rounds would not be an inhibition/impediment and there would be no risk of an untimely magazine swap. the pistol makes it much more navigable around corners without compromising accuracy at shorter distances. the AR gives you extreme precision so you don't strike unintended targets. the hollow points prevent over-penetration while simultaneously expending tremendous stopping power (given the extreme velocity of 556). if i had the time, i'd also strap on a glock 17 with hollow points and tritium night sights just in case there were a jam on the AR. g17 because high capacity and extreme precision, like the AR.
There are far more civilians than you can imagine with this level of traing, or even more. Plus the amount of homes with a firearm or several in EVERY room+ the vehicle+ the plate carrier....
My home defense is an AR15/M4A1 (5.56), a Beretta M9A3 (9mm), and a 1911 (.45 ACP). My collection is pretty vast, but these three are my home defense choices because I have more training hours and more thousands of rounds with these platforms than anything else. These are the go toes that I trust.
Empty mag as fast as he can? So in other words, waste all the rounds and if there are multiple attackers, even with pocket knives, he loses? Not very smart. The best thing about using a shotgun for home defense is that it isn't nearly as maneuverable as a handgun and can often overpenetrate. It is also a lot slower if it is a pump shotgun. ARs have the same maneuverability and overpenetration problems. BTW, the AR he is using is almost $4,000 so most people can't afford that plus the attachments and expensive ammo. The majority of people have around $500 extra or less for their gun and ammunition. In that case, something like Rock Island Armory .38 special for $260 plus some ammo, or a .22LR handgun with extra magazines would be better and more realistic. 22.LR has been used to k!11 many people and the guntubers that claim it isn't worth using don't know what they are talking about. Most people should get something they can realistically afford, including the ammo, make sure it is of a size that they can also use it for concealed carry, and then practice with it. Also, have nightlights in your house, especially in the living room and kitchen areas so you can see criminals without them being able to see where you are from your light source (gun light).
My wife has the first hadgun he was firing for times that I'm away from home for periods of time, and she consistently impresses me with it when we go the the range. A couple of years ago, she told me she wanted a 12 guage. My first thought was, "You're 5' 1" and only weigh 109 lbs." I didn't dare bring up the fact that she's 53 years old at the time, but asked her why she wanted one of her own. She asked me to take mine out of the safe, clear it, and then let her hold it. She then racked it and smiled. Yes, the sound alone will generally convince someone outside, trying to break in to change their mind and run. Needless to say, she now has a much lighter 12 guage than mine is.
I told my neighbor the same thing about the shotgun. Single lady paranoid about crime, and is a liberal. Told her the sound of a 12g racking will give intruders a second thought, exercise that 2A. I swear she looked like she saw a ghost.
here in switzerland, we can even own cooler guns than the people from the US but the downside is, we can't carry and we can only shoot at official ranges. on my channel here you can find a detailed video of our gun rights in english. pretty sad that the brits can't own guns cause it's one of the coolest things ever.
I started pulling triggers at 3 and as soon as i was able to hold the pistol, i was trained how to do so safely and responsibly. Got my forst rifle for graduating kindergarten. Now, at 41, i do have the 10k dollar match rifles and raced up pistols, and suppressors. But i dosagree woth keeping loaded guns locked away. I like keeping at least a pistol and either shotgun or rifle in every room for quick access
Great video, I'm glad you did it. We live in a country where our forefathers had the wisdom to give us the right to not only defend ourselves against criminals but to be able to defend ourselves against GOVERNMENTS (theirs and ours). That is the true meaning of the 2nd Amendment.

Whatever you choose to use from knife to plasma cannon become familar with the system, know how to clean and maintain it and HAVE A PLAN. Even a bad plan is better than no plan
I enjoy seeing these kinds of react videos. To often American gun culture is mislead by bad influences. Especially in other countries. I'm happy to see people from other places watching someone with the mind set of a average gun owner talking about gun safety. Good video my friends. Much love from the USA
Over 100 million U.S. citizens own over 400 million firearms; not to mention billions of magazines and trillions of rounds of ammunition. Much of these have training in one form or another, either military, police, private security, civilian defensive, marksmanship, competition, or hunter safety training, or just dad and grandpa teaching the youth.
The best way is go to a gun store and see what your comfortable with and all you need is a nice shot gun at home and a nice hand gun to carry and be at home plus get range time, your not going to war at least not yet, just need something forv security
@yassandfats I understand gun laws are more difficult in the UK, but I do know lever action rifles are legal. I would suggest possibly a lever action rifle in a revoler caliber like 357 mag or 44 mag. You can practice shooting 38 special out of the 357 or 44 special out of the 44 mag. This will be very manageable for new shooters. It will also be good brush guns for hunting. For example, they'd both be good for 100 yards. I understand that the UK has very big overpopulation with deer. Deer is good eating and a a great way to increase your meat supply for cheap. It's also a healthier meat than beef.
@OldWestGunslinger-vs9mx They can get guns. They just can't use them for self defense. They can't just say they were in fear for their life. In order to use a firearm in self defense, they have to prove that their attacker had one, and even then, they'll probably do prison time.
Im 53 years old, been around guns since I was a kid. My dad was a fed and he reloaded his own ammo back in the day. I learned how to reload ammo by the time I was about 10. Currently I have 2 guns: my grandfathers 12 gauge pump shotgun that stays loaded in my bedroom closet, and a Glock 20 (10mm handgun). The thing with ammo is you have to consider its lethal range. A little ol .22 "pea shooter" is actually lethal up to a mile away! Thats a tiny, very light bullet. It goes far. On the other hand a .45acp caliber bullet is big and heavy. It wont go as far and will start to drop almost immediately upon leaving the barrel. You also have to consider the bullet type (hollowpoints vs full metal jacket) you want to use and why. A hollowpoint bullet will expand or "mushroom back" immediately, causing less penetration especially with heavy outerwear. A full metal jacket is a pointy tipped bullet and will expand much slower allowing deeper penetration, and possibly hitting an unintended target behind the intended. Guns and ammo can be overwhelming for some. Probably the best starting point to learn is a 9mm semi-auto handgun, a .357magnum revolver, a 12 gauge shotgun, an AR-15 (known as the evil "assault rifle", shoots 5.56 ammo), and your dads old 30-06 bolt action deer rifle (which can blow a hole through an elephants ass!!). RULE ONE: Do not put your finger on the trigger until you are ready to put a hole in something. You rest your finger in a pointing manner along the side of the frame of the gun. This applies to each and every type of gun ever made, from the pea shooter to the deer rifle.
100% empathize with the compulsion to modify. I only have two platforms that I haven't modified, but everything else I own is either a build-from-scratch or an equivalent of a Kardashian
And having a great guard dog, or dogs will drastically make your home safer, they have amazing sight and smell, senses. If you see the dog on high alert and it’s staring in a certain direction, the dog is literally pointing the way at the threat. That we can’t see but they can
I look at dogs as a early warning system verses a defensive system. When my Golden senses a threat he will straddle over me and growl softly, and like you said, facing the threat. He has done this twice, once while camping in the high desert a mountain lion decided to visit and the other was a home invasion. Both times there was no banking, or overt sogns of aggression, just a low growl and a protective stance.
No they can't. Most Americans don't own a gun or have ever fired one. That's because most of the population live in big cities where owning and practicing with a gun is a huge hassle. Most civvies can't afford to train to this level. This guy has fired 10's of thousands of expensive rounds. When it comes to the military and police most of them never train to this level either. Most people in the military never fire a weapon again after basic training. Only about 10-15% of the military engage in combat. Everyone else is in a noncombat support role. Most donut eaters don't fire their weapon anymore than they have to stay certified. According to PEW Research only about 4 out of 10 adults in the US claim to live in a household with a gun. Only 32% claim to personally own one. Only 45% Repub and 20% Dem claim firearm ownership. I live in a rural neighborhood of about 35 houses only 6 of us have guns and train to any degree.
Bruv...I know accomplished competitors who can't get splits like this lol. He's certainly in the elite tier of trigger speed that most people can't...let alone won't...attain.
I can tell you very few “military” people can shoot like this.. average American citizens with no law enforcement or military experience that train regularly have better skills than average military or law enforcement.
5:00 FMJ = Full metal Jacket. These are different from Hollow Point (HP) ammo. FMJ are used typically for Target Practice. HP is used for self-defense (or offense). Also Red Dot does not mean a laser dot is pointed somewhere like with a cat, you only see the Red Dot within the glass/plastic. Here is a simplistic list for reference. Pistol = Close range (8 to 20 feet in front of you) Shotgun = Mid-Range Rifle = Long Range target There's actually flashlights for pistols and long guns. Rifles and shotguns are in that category, so yes, you can get a flashlight on your long gun.
the AR platform is fun to mod, I have had a few now, let go of a 450 bushmaster I modded out, with bipod, grips, etc, and an American flag vinyl wrap, also had a 458 socom, I modded out with a neon green camo wrap. You can get into some serious money with some mod's/ I set all my ar's up with bi-pod, 45 offset sights, decent scope, mlock rails and guards for front grip, and I like window mags. All simple mods, but they work for me
Yass & Fats, also, remember when he made that comment about wobbling the gun around trying to find the red dot? You interpreted that to mean a LASER POINTER, but that's not what he was referring to. If you look closely at that 9mm handgun then you can see that the sight on the top looks like a small window. That is a new aiming device called an "optic". The way it works is that you peer into the window and see a red dot but it's not a laser striking a wall somewhere. the dot is only in the window itself. prior to these, if you wanted to use the iron sights then you had to close one eye to line up the sights with the other eye, but now with these optics you can keep both eyes open. everybody praises these things but personally if you're talking about serious self-defense tactics then i think the iron sights are still best for precisely the reason that guy stated: you have to wobble the gun around until you can catch that stupid red dot in the window. when you're in a fight-or-flight panic you're not going to have the discipline and fine motor skills to be fumbling around with that shit! you're going to use muscle memory, and that means, repeated training with the good old fashioned iron sights. now they have a certain type of iron sight made out of tritium and this is a material with a half life of like a billion years and it glows in the dark so that you never need batteries but you can always use your tritium sights in the dark without giving away your position.
If you teach your kids about the guns and you let them shoot the guns and let them handle the guns unloaded safely and teach them about safety it takes the curiosity away from them.
4:45 What he said about 'swimming around' to find the red dot, that's a training issue. If you get your fundamentals down on the presentation (the draw into the aim) you won't have to look for the dot, because you're drawing into a position where you can always see it. In fact, learning to do that with a red dot will make you more efficient when you're using iron sights. Of course, once you've learned how to do that with a red dot, there's no reason to do that with iron sights, because red dots are just faster.
To add to your point, in a house break in scenario, or any situation with another person which is usually 3-7 yards. You should be skilled enough to point shoot in the event you need to quickly bring up and shoot (which coincides with the dot lining up as soon as you aim). Something I think is overlooked or people aren’t familiar with.
Basic info for those not knowledgeable about "guns in America". We do have have gun laws in America. What is considered a firearm cannot be shipped to your front door and a Firearm has to be shipped to a FFL (Federal Firearms License). It is a process which vets the applicant and is completed through the ATF agency (Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives). In most cases, When you purchase a firearm at a FFL which is a gunshop or sporting goods store. You have to complete a background check by completing the ATF form 4473 through the FBI's NICS (National Instant Criminal Check System). Within a reasonable amount of time you will be approved or denied and variety of factors can play into a denial. Thats a very basic explanation into the purchasing a firearm. It does get more complicated and there is not a handover firearms to anybody system. With that being said, there are considerable amount of gun control laws and plenty of people who take advantage of those rights to commit acts of violence. Hard pill to swallow for some to understand is it is very rare for a person with no criminal record and a legally owned firearm owner to suddenly use the firearm criminally. Most gun violence in the united states is of those who cannot legally own a firearm, has obtained a firearm through criminal means (theft, etc.) and will usually use said firearm in the commission of a crime or use the firearm against another person who is also engaged in criminal activity. Death statistics with firearms are grossly mischaracterized. Su1c1d3, Negligence, Justifiable H0m1cide and criminal activity being grouped into one large statistic.

6:55 Having a military background helps, but it’s really the training and how much he’s optimized his weapons to his shooting style. But mostly it’s the training.
What most people forget and during a home invasion it's often forgotten is ear protection. Shooting a firearm inside enclosed structures is going to make your ears ring for a few hrs or maybe days. But that's part of protecting you and your family.

Most people here in the southern states and western states have guns if a foreign nation were to try and send land forces they would not only face the US military but most of the citizens
No doubt. I did 8years active duty Infantry and 19 more in the ARNG in Vermont. 😂😂😂 My plan A for anyone first starting out is to get your hands on what you can afford and train yourself as much as possible. 2 times a month at bare minimum. Being protected cheap is better than not at all while you’re trying to save up. That collection of his right there is honestly wayyyyyyyy out of reach for a lot of people. You can get good group of 3 of those for well under $2000. A good pump 12 gauge Mossberg, a 9mm Walther PDP is in the $500-$700 range and has a phenomenal trigger right out of the box. And you can get a good beginner AR chambered in 556 for $600-$800. And that’s honestly all you need to be able to handle some business. And that’s about the most affordable caliber munitions you can get your hands on that’s actually going to do the job.
CZ scorpion for me. Too close to others for larger stuff but I have coupled mags and 70 rounds of 9mm with a light and red dot in a rifle type configuration.
Remember safety first. Defense is the mindset with firearms. Pistols are king for most people, but they’re hardest to master. And looking cool is much less important than proficiency. Guns are a tool. People are the things who can make good or bad choices in life.
So funny to watch foreigners reactions to our 2A Rights. And the sort of firearm's we have. And ease of purchasing them. I went in to gun retails store (we call them FFL's) and purchased a new Glock 45 and was out the door in 15 minutes. Just filled out the ATF 4473 form, background check was done on a computer that took like 5 mins. And you get an instant.... Approved, Denied or Delayed. A delay is the govt. can take an additional 72 hours to research something. If the ATF doesn't get back to the FFL within said time frame, the sale can proceed to go thru. Most people who urchase from an FFL know theyre good to go. So most get instant approval.
You can legally have a shotgun or a rifle in the UK. It is not cheap, easy or quick. You have to pay for an ownership application (that might be turned down) then give authorities permission to investigate and question your family/friends, doctors, bank, employer, etc..
The problem I have as a human is you aren’t allowed to defend yourself. If you aren’t allowed to defend something, it isn’t really yours. Including your life
the funny thing is, most car guys are also gun guys here in america it feels like lol. theyre very similar and its very similar reasons why someone would get into both cars and guns, hell even using dangerous power tools. its the respect for a dangerous machine thats been well built and maintained to go fast, shoot fast, cut fast....it hits the man brain hard
And for some of the safety reasons he mentioned, because I live in a 7.5 foot wide by 30 foot long mobile home trailer in a mobile home park, I keep a .380 caliber handgun by my bedside. A 380 is same diameter as a 9mm but is shorter than a 9mm and is lighter and a little less powerful than a 9mm, thereby lessening the chance of over penetrating the bad guy and going out the exterior wall of my home. I also have a couple of 9mm handguns that I rotate daily when I carry away from home.
Perfectly legal. Just go to the gun store, fill out some paperwork and buy one, as long as have never been convicted of a felony. Some states require an unconstitutional waiting period.
Have a one sent to you among a bunch of unassembled clock parts!!! Nobody will know what's in there and you could put it together in your living room without any tools!!! lol

My best home defense gun is whichever one I pick up at that moment. 22lr, 380, 9mm, 22lr rifle, 12ga, AR15.
my personal preference is AR pistol with a promag drum filled with 556 hollow points. the drum is very reliable and provides high capacity so that running out of rounds or really just the THOUGHT of running out of rounds would not be an inhibition/impediment and there would be no risk of an untimely magazine swap. the pistol makes it much more navigable around corners without compromising accuracy at shorter distances. the AR gives you extreme precision so you don't strike unintended targets. the hollow points prevent over-penetration while simultaneously expending tremendous stopping power (given the extreme velocity of 556). if i had the time, i'd also strap on a glock 17 with hollow points and tritium night sights just in case there were a jam on the AR. g17 because high capacity and extreme precision, like the AR.
For home defense I’d go 22WM or 380. But it would also depend on if you have neighbors cause of over penetration.
The seeds of freedom.
Pretty sure Pew View is a competition shooter, no military experience. Just tons and tons of training.

My go to home defense weapon would be an AA-12. But they are damn expensive

The red does not project a “laser” out in front of it. You can only see it imprinted on the glass, nobody else outside the first person can see it.
wow, never thought a couple of "Brits"❤ Would show me a great video as such! You 2 need to make U.S. more regular visiting!
In Canada, Truedeu banned (the sale of) handguns, AR-15 and many other rifles. So, I'm down to my semi-auto 12ga for hd.
Great video, I'm glad you did it. We live in a country where our forefathers had the wisdom to give us the right to not only defend ourselves against criminals but to be able to defend ourselves against GOVERNMENTS (theirs and ours). That is the true meaning of the 2nd Amendment.
bed side gun is a KSG 12 loaded with bird shot in one tube and slug in the other tac light under rail. The Springfield XDM in .45 is loaded with frangable and a veridian multi mount under rail with laser (Green) and white lite options including a dazzler .
Just found your site.. I like it.. from America with love.. God bless you all.
If only it was that easy in the UK 😞
Only thing you can say about this vid is America, Hell Yeah!
100% empathize with the compulsion to modify. I only have two platforms that I haven't modified, but everything else I own is either a build-from-scratch or an equivalent of a Kardashian
Right hand - Glock 30 (.45 w/hollow points)
Left hand - Ruger Mark 2 (can mag dump in 2 seconds)

You freedom loving folks are welcome to visit Wyoming for a range party any time.
Most Americans can shoot like this. My whole family was trained to shoot gun at a very early age. I was 9 when I was taught.
Na, pew view is on a whole another level. He can ricochet a 9mm out of a Glock hip fireing from like 50 yards away and ring that steel.
Bruv...I know accomplished competitors who can't get splits like this lol. He's certainly in the elite tier of trigger speed that most people can't...let alone won't...attain.
@JoeBLOWFHB They do where I come from... you are right city people are helpless
@@JoeBLOWFHB What are you talking about? There's more guns in America than people...
4th option, 9mm PCC. It has the stability/ease of use of rifle, less recoil, more rounds, lighter and less worry about overpenetration.
Pew view is a bad ass, highly knowledgeable and very responsible gun owner with lot & lots of high end toys. Good dude 👌
Pewview is one of the greatest shooters I've seen! Amazing channel
I can tell you very few “military” people can shoot like this..
average American citizens with no law enforcement or military experience that train regularly have better skills than average military or law enforcement.
It takes a lot of training, and a lot of rounds to become this proficient!
Pistol = Close range (8 to 20 feet in front of you)
Shotgun = Mid-Range
Rifle = Long Range target
There's actually flashlights for pistols and long guns. Rifles and shotguns are in that category, so yes, you can get a flashlight on your long gun.
God bless American!
the AR platform is fun to mod, I have had a few now, let go of a 450 bushmaster I modded out, with bipod, grips, etc, and an American flag vinyl wrap, also had a 458 socom, I modded out with a neon green camo wrap.
7:46 I don't know if he is a veteran, but i am fairly certain that he is a competitive shooter, and a good one from the looks of it.
I taught my kids how to properly handle guns before they were 10. They both son and daufhter know how to hanndle and shoot all my guns.
If you teach your kids about the guns and you let them shoot the guns and let them handle the guns unloaded safely and teach them about safety it takes the curiosity away from them.
You don't mess with an American's donuts
He is like a real john wick.. that range is on his farm, and he can and does shoot daily from distances most dont train at cuz their ranges are more limited. This guys a highly capable machine. Anyone who tries breaking in his house is toast
Recently new thing to think about for home defense is shotguns are fantastic anti-drone options. The ukraine/Russia war is teaching us lessons.
Garand Thumb is gonna be a good amount of videos to react to.
You 2 crack me up, you have never held a gun have you !!! LOL LOL LOL
For home I use a Browning 16 gauge auto shotgun with a choke barrel. I can control the spread with the choke and being an auto you just pull the trigger. I use a S & W 40 cal and a Sig 308 for rooms.
I also am adepth with throwing knives and I have a small rifle crossbow as well. I do not have a security system but I do have a part pit part rott dog.✌💪
You'll find that most of us gun owners ARE responsible like this. We have to think of and plan around so many scenarios it's unreal.
Most people here in the southern states and western states have guns if a foreign nation were to try and send land forces they would not only face the US military but most of the citizens
No doubt. I did 8years active duty Infantry and 19 more in the ARNG in Vermont. Its against the law per decision of the State Supreme Court there for the government to require a CCW or any other restriction. Slowly, the locusts from out of state chip away at our 2A rights, but actual Vermonters who are outdoorsmen still outnumber the out of State parasites.
NH here and there are a lot of guns up here as well especially since you don't need a license to buy anything. I think you may need a carry permit but buying a gun is very easy.
@@rg20322 Pretty sure NH has CCW, but yep. NH is a good State. I came back to VT after the Army and while the countryside is still VT, the cities are cesspools full of out of state junkies riding the welfare train. I wont live there and currently live in Bogota, Colombia. Good luck to you!
1-Nobody is invading the US.
2-Most gun owners are out of shape old men who would collapse if they had to run two blocks.
3-Stop with the Rambo delusions.
@@AlexanderWinterborn-r6p Truth to what you say and I was Infantry for 27 years. But most civilians dont go up against tanks. Where I grew up, everyone was a hunter and they are no joke when armed.
It’s a lot to own one… seems a lot more straight forward in the states 😢
@@yassandfats i cant imagine countries with kings want their citizens armed at all lol.
Sounds awful.
Owning and using for defense are two different things. You shoot a home intruder in the UK you're going to jail.
"Is that an illegal firearm!?"
"Are those level 4 plates!?"
Perfectly legal. Just go to the gun store, fill out some paperwork and buy one, as long as have never been convicted of a felony. Some states require an unconstitutional waiting period.
@@clwomble woosh 😂
Have a one sent to you among a bunch of unassembled clock parts!!! Nobody will know what's in there and you could put it together in your living room without any tools!!! lol
The US government is currently trying to pass two bills. One is to ban Militia training and organization. The other is to end Is posse comatottis. Which is to be able to use the military against the people. This tells you everything you need to know.
