I looove you all so much and as Christmas is just around the corner, save time with this delicious rosca! Same flavor as your tamal, surprise your family and friends and if they were not in the kitchen helping you, 🤫 cooking should always be fun and never a burden 🥰
I’m making 2 of these right now, one with a filling of your rajas con queso, & one of chicken in salsa verde ( my aunt loves cheese & agreed to having some cheese in the chicken ones as well ) I cooked mine for an hour & the masa looks good. Can’t wait to try!!! Although most likely it’s going to be super delicious because like I always say your recipes NEVER FAIL! Thank you !!!
Wow, very interesting! 😃 Thinking about doing this instead of traditional tamales on the 24th…😅 But, I also got the courage to start making tamales myself about 1-2 years ago from watching one of your older videos, the one on how to make green chicken tamales! I ALWAYS refer back to it every year when I’m going to make tamales. I have it saved & will definitely be using it again on Saturday. Thank you, Claudia! 🤗
I like to make tamales the traditional way with corn husks or banana leaves, but then I came across your channel and after watching your video I was impressed. I will try this method and make it for my friends and give it a classy look. Thanks for sharing Ms. Claudia. Feliz Navidad y un prospero aÑo nuevo.
Claudia...do you think it would turn out okay to make a Rosca of Tamale Dulce? Also...would I have to grease the pan before adding masa? Or does the lard of the masa help it pop out easily 🤔?
I can't wait to try this! We love tamales but this is SO much easier! Any chance you could make a video showing how to make sweet tamales this same way? Wink, wink! Thanks Claudia for sharing all your delicious recipes with us! Merry Christmas and a very blessed new year! :)
I too was thinking about the sweet tamales...because those are my favorite too..this would be easy ..I hope because I have been wanting to find a recipe that doesn't come out with lots of tamales...and sweet tamales are so difficult to find...and no one wants to share the recipe for them...Don't know why...people don't even want to fix them any more..that mostly not everyone likes them...well I too wish wish that you will make this Rosca with the Sweet ingredients. Thank you Claudia, blessingsl...and Happy Holidays to all of your Family.
I will attempt to make it this Christmas! I have to say I love your videos and all the recipes you have here are spot on. When I follow your instructions my food tastes like my mom’s!! So thank you 🙏🏽
Hi Claudia, I want to say first how much I appreciate you and your channel!!! I made this last night and it was so delicious!!! Of course, I am wimpy when it comes to spicy chilies. I used jalapenos and Anaheim chilies. Live you and thank you!!!
Me gusta la receta voy a hacerla para este 6’de enero, y lo que también haré será vestirme elegante como tú para hacerla , voy a usar mis mejores garritas para cocinar, este tamaleshion ❤❤❤
Hi Claudia thank you for your recipe as always...I didn't quite understand about the adding the three ingredients to the masa or does the masa already comes with the 3 ingredients?
Thank you I followed your other video for this recipe but I got stuck when my Maza did not float and I kept adding MASA and water and then finally added lard but they came out pretty good and I made a Christmas version half red and half green thank you so much merry Christmas
I made this for my Friendsgiving pot luck and it was a hit. I had to modify cooking time due to our altitude here in Albuquerque, NM and also I have an electric stove but I loved that it didn’t take more than 2 hours to cook. I didn’t have lard so I used cooking oil and it worked fine. Love your content!!!! Keep it up. ❤
Omg! That looks so Ahhh-Mazing...and DELICIOUS...question do I need to spray the bundle mold prior to adding the ingredients...and lastly...can this recipe be made with red Chile n pork meat...thx u thx u...will give it a try...
This is wonderful! Was wondering if this could be made in advance (like night before) and then what would be the reheating logistics? I’m just worried about it not coming out of the Bundt pan intact and am stressed about doing it day off without a backup…
My favorite part of your videos is the taste test! Thank you, you encourage me to try making other dishes that at some point felt too difficult to make for us that aren’t the fondest of cooking this gives me motivation! Thank You!
Hola from New Zealand! What other pan could be used if you don't have a bundt pan? Any alternatives for corn husks (expensive here in NZ!( Do you have an vegetarian recipes by chance? Your videos are SO very helpful!!! Muchas Gracias!
Yasss I’m making this fir Christmas because my brother left the Turkey in the freezer 🤦🏻♀️ Oh well I’ll make that for new years I guess Merry Christmas
Omgoodness I never would have thought of this dish! I’m so excited! I love to cook but having multiple illnesses, I now always look for shortcuts. This looks amazing 😋 You always look so beautiful too 🥰
Omg that’s a great twist. Do I need spray the bundt pan? Can I use your homemade tamala recipe from your other videos instead of buying the one you used? If so, can you let me know how many cups corn flour for this recipe and I’ll search your other tamale recipe for that masa recipe. Keep making more tamale based recipe. We love learning and tasting too
@@CookingConClaudia it was super good! Very moist and much easier than individual tamales. 🫔 Mi novio really enjoyed it too! 🥰🥰🥰❤️ Thank you hermana 🤞🏽💕
Hi Claudia. Peppers are very hard to judge as far as "hot" is. In this recipe, what peppers would I use to have "mild" heat flavor, what would you suggest? Please do a video about chiles and could you when cooking your recipes, tell us what pepper measurement to use for mild heat. Thank you.
@@CookingConClaudia Okay I will do just that. Because there are so many kinds of peppers, I'm assuming each type of pepper has their own "flavor". Is that correct? Or do they all pretty much taste the same, but the only differences are the levels of heat?
Mmmmm taking notes fast on this delicious recipe!!! 😋 you cook so good claudia you make us all hungry. You need to open a restaurant. You will make alot of business ! I would be #1 customer! Love you bunches!!! 🥰

Do you have to use the corn husks?? Or can I just cover with aluminum foil?
I made this for dinner on Xmas eve, exactly as described on the video,it came out AMAZING, everyone loved it!!
This was a hit! My family loved it! And however we did not make Champurado, but we did make a homemade hot chocolate bar

Made this today after I ran out of corn husks for the traditional tamales. Very good and a pretty presentation.

No habaneros, and take seeds out of jalapeños
Yess of course jalapeños is the best for a mild salsa ☺️ some jalapeños are spicy just look out for the older and veined ones
@@ngs5554 Thank you!
@@CookingConClaudia Okay I will do just that. Because there are so many kinds of peppers, I'm assuming each type of pepper has their own "flavor". Is that correct? Or do they all pretty much taste the same, but the only differences are the levels of heat?

I don't make tamales as they're to much work for me, so I'm gonna make this as it looks delicious, thank you Claudia for making it look so easy
