It has been several months since I first played NieR Replicant, and it continues to have such a hold over me 😂.Especially the Shadowlord track, just hit so hard when I first heard it, especially given the context....I am a sucker for turning vocal chorales into string quartets since they always work SO well, and immediately put this one on my list of arrangements I had to do :D Took a little bit to finish it, but it worked out since I didn't have an elaborate video planned for Halloween this year and I figured this one was dark and moody enough to qualify 🤣

aaaaaa I haven’t even played NieR but Shadowlord is one of my favorite boss themes EVER. The choir opening alone is enough to make it that. You two did a lovely job recreating the solemn, tragic tone of the original!

I still haven’t gotten a chance to play the game yet but this arrangement definitely carries that same emotional weight of the original! Love the lighting as well! The blueish green of the wall contrasting with the curtains and candles is so nice 🤩
