@@huzaifa-682 Saying ‘like’ regularly as a filler word in sentences. Saying ‘I was like...’ instead of verbs of speech such as say/ask/reply. Saying ‘like’ instead of about/roughly when giving a number or just saying ‘like’ for no reason as in ‘I asked like five minutes’ ago.

But Bond has this aura that can only be pulled off by someone who hovers around the image of Daniel Craig or Sean Conner's youth years. Jonathan was rude, cutting Gemma off a few times when she was speaking. What was more offending was he assumed that Gemma's grandparents escaped from China. I'm glad Gemma corrected him subtly.
It was during the Cultural Revolution. No one "left" China during that period in a normal fashion or to pursue a career move🙄 Were they "expats" then? 😂
She "subtley corrected" his completely accurate phraseology because she's very smart.
You start talking about "escaping China" and the full might of the Wumao army online won't stop at making sure you've been permanently cancelled in China itself, they'll try and ensure all the studios and major brands dump you too.

The first time I witnessed Gemma Chan’s acting was from a UK show Humans. She’s really good at acting as robot switching on and off emotions.
She is wonderful in the film and so charming here.

What is happening in North Korea is out of her hands and in your professional life I'm sure everyone agree it's better to focus on one thing at a time and do that well than to try and focus on too many and get nothing done. For her, as an Asian immigrant in the UK, she is choosing to focus on representation for people who resonate with her in the UK, US etc. And she is doing representation well.
