  • A 17th-century English country house near the village of the same name. Part of a National Trust property, the unaltered 17th-century house is noted for its Jacobean architecture and fine Georgian interior. Outside the house are a walled garden, an orangery and orchards

Even denuded of some its stained glass, S Peter Mancroft remains for me the finest church in Norwich. Make that the next stop on your tour, anyone watching here in lockdown and aching on release to see these wonderful places in our unparalleled and fortunate county.

Thank-you Cassandra, I appreciate you taking the time to comment. Felbrigg Hall is a delightful house and well worth a visit, it's such a shame that we cannot undertake visits at the moment. Let's hope it can re-open later in 2021.

Was declared sane in order to keep the inheritance, but accrued £20,000 lawyer fees, and lost the inheritance as a result, which is insane. Should’ve stayed at home - all the same.

W H A T - how could you have forgotten to mention the dovecote? It is likely one of the finest of its kind in the whole of the UK? It is a magnificent structure and deservers a mention. Otherwise, you do the property justice. I have been there and it is truly magnificent.

    • @ChrisBaileyPresents

Hello - and thank-you for your kind comments.
I would have loved to include the 18th century dovecote in the story. My problem was time - I had just 12 minutes to create the whole story for each episode (except Hindringham Hall) and so was restricted as to exactly what I could include.
Sadly some parts of each stately home had to be left on the cutting room floor.
However you are quiet correct, it is marvellous building and well worth visiting when Felbrigg Hall reopens to the public.

6:00 she wasn’t “being deceptive about her height” she’s probably from Venice wearing platform boots to stay out

Hi Ben - Whilst the young lady did perhaps stumble occasionally, in fairness to her, she wasn't used to cameras being there and infact had stepped in at the last moment as a (more experienced) colleague had not been able to assist us. So she did a sterling effort to overcome her nerves and uncertainty of working with us.
I hope you have enjoyed some of the other Stately Homes of Norfolk in this series, and I have two more currently being edited which will be added very soon.
