FWIW my old man and I are both around 6'2" and use the QF2. We just store our gear that we aren't using, the the drill, sled, tackle boxes and stuff outside. It's cozy but I wouldn't call it cramped.
Thank you - this was very informative. I was thinking of getting the 3i with the insulation, but now I'm thinking maybe without insulation is better for me. We don't usually go below zero more than a couple times a year and I definitely don't plan to be out fishing when we do! The 3 is lighter than the 3i, so that's probably the way to go, I think. Was nice to see the size difference, too.
