i got a similar problem, motor still spins too, just doesnt hammer at all
i suspect
this is basically an air pump
and when the O rings on the piston and the other o rings start failing, you get a pressure leak
cause my hammer turns on, just doesnt hit at all
got my new O rings in the mail, gonna swap them all out
was $36
but hey
it's cheaper than buying a new one full price

@@mcboomsauce7922 Thanks for the answer, but mine is fixed, I saw the problem solved in other video, it was that narrow contact touching the brush spring, even tough the brushes are good... guess the system that tells when the brushes wear out, ins't that good.

I have this bosch and now it doesn’t hammer. Well sometimes it does but most times it doesn’t. Any idea what is going wrong?
carbon brush replace.Or check your chord supply.Sometime it happen hot wire burn inside .
If it's motor is running. Check O Ring &replace it.

tensioner spring is not properly placed, probably missing half a turn more tension

How to replace tool holder gsh 11e
You need to dissasemble it all. If you need only needle holders thrn its 10 minutes work because you dont need to open tool inside, but if yiu need to reolace cylinder then you need to get inside the tool. Theb is good idea to replace o-rings and grease
