I'm impressed with the way you chuck the parts on to the bench during dismantling . Wtith my limited experience of power tool overhaul, I place them in a row in the order they come off! Enjoy watching your work - thanks.
A pleasure watching you work. It's genuinely great to see old tools being fixed and sent back to work, especially in this increasingly disposable world we live in. Thank you.
Thank you for making this video. Without it I would have not known the reason it stopped hammering or how to strip it down, especially that clip deep inside the barrel. One service kit later and it’s back up and hammering again! Thanks again 😀
It looks like you used at least three different lubricants on re-assembly. A thicker grease in the syringe, a lighter colored thin grease you brushed on, and the oil. Would you mind sharing their names and why each is used for those specific components?
Great video Dean. Tell me what is the biggest tool you work on.I watch all your videos and have yet to see a bandsaw repair or a table saw. Do you not get involved with the bigger stuff. Great watching.

I just recently found your channel. It's a breath of fresh air in today's disposable society. Keep up the good work.
Thank you! Will do!

It is something that really soothes my day, the all process of reconditioning and rebuild is soo good to achieve. Except when we can’t…
You are a magician Dean
