I really appreciate that practicality. Small pockets, big pockets, key holder, all in one. The shorts look tight enough to be worn without the underwear, especially they don't have poorly placed inner stitches

Best shorts I’ve ever run in. Have completed several 100m and 100k races in them - just perfect and fit for purpose. I’ve had the Sherpa shorts for 3 years and they are still going strong. It’s great to be able to distribute load across your body (pack and shorts) and I never need to reach into the back of the pack during a race (I put all my food in the shorts), except for mando gear if the weather turns bad.

The Commando under is brilliant - zero chaff for 50km trail in humidity 90% with no other lubricants. For 100km I played safe and apply a little but never need any additional.
They are a bit thicker where they need to be but they're still pretty seen through! That's why I didn't film any over lays of me wearing them! "LoveHoney" that's so funny! 🤣😂

Shorts and underwear look great, I hate swimshort style integrated lining in running shorts and always cut it out. Commando underwear looks good for summer, I use runderwear at the moment but they are quite thick. Will have a look at these at some point. Love the integrated belt too in the shorts. I do agree the T-shirt is very ugly though and to be honest it would only really be of use for road races and speed work so I probably wouldn't bother.

Looks like good kit. I've had two pairs of shorts with the built in belt, one from Salomon that fell apart very quickly and one from OMM that is wearing well. These ones from T8 look good as well, may be worth a punt. On the shirt/hydro vest issue, every shirt I have has been affected by the vests I wear. (both Salomon), it seems like the weave gets pulled tighter or something. I have some shirts that I don't wear with vests for this reason and the others I just accept it will happen to.

Yeah agree with you on the warning Loyd, it's a nice touch. I'm well thanks but unfortunately not fit. In trying to address my hip issue, I've developed an ongoing achillies injury which sees me walking after 6 or 7km. I'm going to have to bail on the Arc 50 as I just won't have enough time, even if it got better in the next couple of weeks. Really sad about it, as I missed Wendover Woods 50 also. Oh well, re-set and focus on Brighton marathon and then the Centurion races.🤞
