One card I feel is definitely worth considering in the deck in the face of droll is Dr. Frankenderp. You can e-tele it out in draw phase when you already have punk access, and then pay 500 lp to effectively draw a card, both giving you immediate value and turning on your gold pride monsters without needing to burn your normal summon to get your trap search before droll is live.
Another big thing with Gold Pride Punk more now than ever is you really need to use your extra monster zone for whatever synchro/xyz is staying on the field. Board space is a really big deal with the gold pride cards and you'll pretty regularly need all 6 zones.
Aside from the draglubion mishaps from combo 1, if you had used charriot carries other effect when searching for better luck you could have sent roller baller to grave and used start your engines to summon leon and use leons effect to summon roller baller from grave to have both star leon pop and up to 4 mat pin baller, and you would have drawn a different card off better luck next time, and for combo 2 i would use that came out of nowhere to give them a token with nytro head during standby phase.
Yeah, that’s definitely an option. I have been avoiding using the send part of Carrie because of how much I feel that it opens you to more issue, but that’s DEFINITELY valid.
In the second game, when you are afraid of a droll after activating better luck next time, then you should start with sharakusai, fusion, bring deer note and any lvl 3 punk tuner to summon jam dragon drive. Search for ogre, special sharakusai with deer note. 3 interruptions with droll, ogre and sharakusai into amazing dragon are better than just a droll and single photon lord or amazing dragon. When you dont get a droll after jam dragon drive, you can continue with better luck next time, search carry, special carry and search trap, xyz into chariot carry, search that came out of nowhere, send roller baller to grave. Sure, there are always a lot of if's, but in my opinion when you start with sharakusai in this case, It would be better

Summon a photonlord on 5th summon isnt possible, when you dont want to destroy the rest of your combo lines. I personally play 2x fenrir, on starthand it is an easy baron with all the level 3 stuff. I play the gamma package against droll, but I can utilize gamma for a baron too, if I have a level 8 Punk. For lowering my life points and have an extra summon, I am testing Summon Dice. Pay 1000 LP, roll a die and depending on the die roll you can conduct a 2nd normal summon after resolve, special a monster with lvl 5 or higher from hand (fenrir, Lvl 8 punks), or you can special something from grave.
What I also think is a good way to play is instead of making jam dragon drive, just make dragite. You get the water fusion in grave and you can summon sharakusai off of deer note so you still have the bounce 2-3. That's usually what I do under droll and hope I can continue next turn which if Amazing dragon stays on field I likely will be able to.
with double carries i like ditching a roller baller then off start grab leon special the baller and sync a carrie away for start leon then still have roller play

In the first game you use draglubions effect that means you can't get captain carrie special summoned in the end phase.
