Love your ingredients videos! As someone who has studied biochemistry it's so funny to watch ppl vilify ingredients 😂😂 but then do things like drink alcohol which is a well known carcinogen and neurotoxic
That part! 👏🏼
I love my biotin&collagen shampoo for thick and full hair from OGX, it has really made my hair look better...so, when I saw these videos about the hairfall, I got concerned (and in denial lol) and started looking for critical videos like yours. Plus, the links of everything you´ve mentioned, in the description, are a perfect way of informing us better! thanks for that! I miss it in lots of youtube videos. :)
Concerning the change of preservatives, I agree they will probably do that, which is a shame... What good it would do if the industry simply created a video explaining why it isn´t harmful, with scientific information for us customers, or included this information in their ads, wouldn´t it? Information is such a simple way for them to solve this problem and it is what we want.
thx for the video!
Thank you for clearing all of this up and breaking it down so people can understand it. Like you said most times the research that is needed simply isn't done and people go off of what they read or hear. Like you said it's the equivalent of what would be in an apple or pear and I don't think that ever hurt anyone.
Thanks!
Always a pleasure!
Thanks for doing the research, I was thinking of changing my shampoo, I learned a lot.
Me stressing about this shampoo is gonna probably lead to more hair loss than the shampoo itself. Also they have removed that ingredient but I’m still kinda concerned even though I shouldn’t be, but anyways let’s hope my hair doesn’t fall because I love the ogx volume shampoo.
If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it!
When people bring up hair loss from mass produced products, I always wonder if people are malnourished. Lots of people are on diets and weight loss journeys (or lifestyle changes) and malnourishment can lead to hair loss. Stress could be another culprit. It just seems odd that products that are usually washed off would slowly cause an internal reaction. Aren’t allergic reactions and “sensitivity” quick reactions?
People would rather have new untested or limited tested preservatives in their products than ones that have been used and tested over a long period of time. Seems like these companies are playing a losing game. They give in to make some quick bucks and could end up putting actual unsafe products on the shelf.
I stopped listening to the beauty brains after they discussed locs. The discussion was short but it bothered me because it lacked cultural sensitivity. I haven’t been interested in tuning in since.
Oh gosh. What did they say about locs?
I eat perfectly well, and I don´t have any allergies and my fair is falling.
Used it forever. Loved it until I noticed paches of hair falling out. Its no joke. The moment I stopped using it...hair stopped falling out. You do the math.
So I just bought this product today I will give it a try
how did it go?
HOWD IT GO
Thank you for the video!!!
Is it the shampoos or the water that's making our hair fall??
I heard Cellphones emit a bit of radiation too
Excessive shedding has many causes-mostly internal.
can i use a large amount of shampoo or conditioner or not becasue of that ingredient
The ingredients doesn’t determine how much shampoo/conditioner you can use.
Be Kind🌸🖤 as an adult I honestly would rather know what's in the ingredients first before ever dreaming of the scent or knowing the brands name in full!!!
I'm more a naturals only!
The most amount of ingredients I'm okay with is 20 to 25 30 is always pushing it!!
I've been so over the book if ingredients in the backs of products!!
I just a few sentences not a whole five chapters worth!! LoL ladies and gentlemen be aware of the books of ingredients!!!
Wanted to add:
(this what do personally)
you don't have to but trust it may help!
If your product/products say *** avoid any contact eyes *** I will always keep my close until everything is rised from hair completely then I will trun around and rise my eyes before I even dream of opening them.
It's only a safety thing I do..
Given my products have oils and other natural products in there ingredients.. also I *** keep out of reach from children *** is my second reason for rising it along will as I can / am able too!!
Also my products are adult use ONLY
honestly I often wish the back was tow front and front was the back next to washing these two things where at the top and bigger font sizes!!
Thanks Kayla, and please keep coming with the info girl. I’m not mad at you that you’re real casual/cavalier about formaldehyde being in our products; however, a small amount is relative. What about people with other health issues already… Are they more sensitive than others to poisonous ingredients like formaldehyde? Not enough information and studies have been done for me to believe that any amount is safe. It really disappoints me that “they”don’t choose preservatives that are healthy. I’m sure there are some healthy preservatives available… why do they have to be sued in order to do the right thing? Very disappointing! WWJD SMH
By the way I am vegan, and I don’t drink! SMH - just in case that last comment was trying to come for me. Get your facts straight!!
I think if someone is sensitive to formaldehyde this whole video is null and void. 😂 Avoid, avoid, avoid!
@@WhatTheKink The problem would be… Someone who is sensitive to it to where their hair is coming out… They will have to be super vigilant in order to find out what products did the damage. It’s just a shame. Why can’t we just have products that are healthy for us and not have to worry about this nonsense. It’s never ending… It’s always something. Seriously it makes me want to just make my own products.
First beautiful 🌻🌻 happy Friday 🥰🥰
People really want to go back to the days when we didn't use preservatives or "CheMicHals", as if the life expectancy was better then... Like you want to go back to the days when the life expectancy was 50? Good luck with that!
Anyone who uses self-care & beauty products should see the Documentary Channel film called Toxic Beauty. It's here on YT. I'd be curious to hear your thoughts on it if you do watch it Kayla. Also, you look extra-beautiful today! xo 🌸🌸🌸
Thank you! I’ll be adding this one to my watchlist!
@@WhatTheKink You're welcome! xo
The product work really well in my hair when it comes to moisturizing but I did notice hair shedding when washing. I plan to stick with black owned companies that use natural ingredients like Aunt Jackie.
I’m so confused!
I'm thinking cumalitive effect; that's why I know The Creator Most High provide Miracles daily🙏🏾💚🌱
Hummmm
Thx I wont buy again
has the ingredient been removed?
