Did you guys fight Urias Drac during your playthrough in Resident Evil Village and do you guys think it was worth defeating these two secret bosses in this game?
I believe the Urais Drac within the garden is the Beneviento’s gardener, while the one encountered within Otto’s Mill is Otto. Also, it’s interesting to note that their flesh, at least in some places, appears to be burnt + several visible metal plates on the face.
Interesting Idea and that would be a cool side story, the last we heard from the Gardner was that he was invited into the Beneviento Household By Donna, so anything could have happened to him since then.
@@HeYDeVuH That is true. Though it’s strange really. Donna didn’t really “experiment” with the Cadou parasite, other than with her dolls. The only known people to do are are the other three lords + Miranda, though out of the other three, we know Moreau is mostly responsible for the creation of the Lycan horde.
They seem to be related to lady dimitrescu in some way consideing they summon the vampiric enemies of the castle. Plus their axes brandish the dimitrescu house emblem on the blade. Wish we had more enemy lore in game!
Me too 😭 I love lore. Though it seems that most of this game relies on notes and environmental storytelling (at least in relation to any unexplained lore) which I’m completely fine with tbh.
Loved Ottos Mill, being able to explore so much of the Village I didn’t realize was just amazing. Replay ability is high in this game. Capcom just nailed everything about this game.
@Straw 31 years old bud. I have lived through and played the old school. You were the one comparing old and new, my comment just alluded to how good the game is.
I love that the community gave them unique names before their official names were released. We got Gravekeeper, guarding the sight outside the Beneviento Estate. Then we have Cannibal, the solitary zombie dwelling in a barn house.
The Urias Drac brothers were a fine addition to Resident Evil Village, to me they were like Tyrants from the past hard to defeat but easy to die to, I never expected to run into them in my first playthrough but I'm glad I did, thank you HeY DeVuH for a killer video 👍
Man the first I returned to claudia's grave for the treasure ... just seeing this thing Jump & *ROAR* so horrifically LOUD made me run & never return until my new game + with Infinite Ammo Guns
When I first encountered the first Urais Drac, I didn't know you could beat it then and there. I thought you had to come back with a late game weapon or was a puzzle. Thinking it was a puzzle, I B-Lined to the grave, put the head stone in, and booked it with a treasure *without killing Urais Drac*. XDXD
I enjoyed the two bonus boss battles. Found them to be quite tanky tho. Took down the first Urias with ease but those two proved to be a lil challenging lol
My friend finally convinced me to play re8 and I ended up fighting both of the Giant Axe men before I fought Urias. Spent almost all my ammo and meds for those fights lol
Urais drac by the stronghold is probably the butcher and the other was Donna's Gardner seeing how he hangs around the grave where he planted the yellow flowers
Hmm, Drac in Romanian meaning devil must make sense of how we got the word Dracula. So vampires were perhaps thought to be demons who feast on your blood.
Drac means devil in modern Romanian, but in the time when Dracula (Vlad the Impaler) lived, the word ''drac'' meant dragon. Vlad was named Dracula as a way to say ''son of the dragon'' because his father was part of the knightly order named ''the order of the dragon''. But dragons in the middle ages were associated with the devil sometimes, and maybe that's why after all the word drac ended up to mean devil in Romanian. And the original Dracula, Vlad that is, was never associated with a vampire in real life, the only association was made by Bram Stoker, but even that's not 100% sure since as far as I know he never clearly mentioned that he based his vampire character on Vlad the Impaler, he just used the name Dracula. But until Bram wrote his book, the name Dracula and vampires were never associated.
During the development of Village, the Four Lords, with the exception of Alcina Dimitrescu, were given what I would consider “code names.” Karl Heisenberg was “Geek.” Donna Beneviento was “Spirit.” Salvatore Moreau was “Merman.” And Mother Miranda, who was still The Hag at the time, was “Shaman.” Donna didn’t have Angie early on, and she would actually use telepathy to communicate. Moreau had a crown of throwns, and his mouth was always dripping with these worm-like parasites.
I bet Lady Dimitrescu did have a code name but they didn't share it with us. Think of the nicknames the internet has given her and it's clear why they may not have shared it.
Soooo Who the dude i killed in the village before the Cut scene ???? Legit killed one Big dude and he came again in a cutscene killed like 4 of em today ?
I liked fighting these two axe men they give you a pretty good challenge and a great reward for defeating them so I like that Capcom added them in I wish we saw more of them in the stronghold before you have to fight the giant lycan.
I fought both of them. These guys aren't really secrets. The game pretty much leads you in that direction and if you didn't fight them you wouldn't reap the rewards so it benefits you to fight them anyway.
Probably. The other three lords most likely had something to do with it. Here me out- Drac wields an axe with the Dimitrescu crest. Moreau is responsible for creating the Lycan horde. And Drac has several metal plates of scrap in his face, which may or may not be from Karl.
I can’t wait for this game to drop in price so I can snag it brand new to add to the collection of games. Having been in love of this re style like game since 4,I’m hoping there’s more secret optional boss fights.
