Today's vlog is the time period before my recent trip to the emergency room for colitis (catch up on the story in this video: • VLOG | before & after ... ) and the week following where I've been recovering and feeling a lot better. Basically a health update and a couple of weeks in my life.

Girl, stop! Take like two weeks we will all be here when you get back take care of yourself!
Tbh I was interested in your chaotic telling of your colonoscopy experience but glad you’re feeling better
I had UC, I’m 45 and was diagnosed at 21. I spent three years in and out of the hospital before they finally decided to remove my entire colon and do a small bowel pull-through. I had a temporary ostomy bag while my insides healed. This was about a year before Humira came on the market....it’s a horrible, painful and embarrassing disease. I hope you’re able to get some relief. Xoxo
So happy for u that u r getting better & it’s nothing too bad to be concerned about!!! No camera up ur butt!👏🏻
So glad you are feeling so much better. Simon is adorable, thanks for giving us a little peek of the wee potato! Huge hugs 😊💖🤗
I am SO happy to hear you’re feeling better! I have a rare autoimmune condition that results in my stomach lining consuming itself when I eat gluten/dairy, and before I knew what was up, it was HORRIBLE. Please reeeesssssttt and take care of yourself. You poor baby 😭😭😭
Kackie,
I'm so very pleased you're starting to feel somewhat better!
Take it easy!!!💕💕💕
Reclaiming her mornings and on the mend - we love to see it!! 👏🏽
I’m so happy for you that you are feeling better and taking time for yourself. I really appreciated your thoughts about bringing your old self to new situations and hope that you can build the life you want for yourself!
Happy you are on the mend! As someone who has had all kinds of stomach issues I feel your pains. The rebuild back up of the guts is a tough one. I’ve had a few colonoscopies and they aren’t that bad. The drink is the worst part. Living in Canada and it being free they have no problem scheduling them anytime they feel like getting a better check on the insides
Glad you’re feeling better!!! We love to see more kackie in our life 🥺
I am so glad that you're getting better!! And I love the idea of vlogs on the main channel. Very pro main channel vlogs!
I’m so happy that you are getting better, truly hope for a full recovery.
So glad you’re feeling better bit by bit. Love having the Vlog content on the main channel, and seeing a bit of baby boy!!
I find it F**** up that all my ads were meds for what youre going through but glad its getting better slowly if not surely
Yay! I'm glad you're feeling better!
I’m happy that you’re doing well and hang in there you’re doing amazing job.💕💕
“Putting the die in diarrhea.” Where do I sign up for an all Kackie all the time channel? Also, the one downvote is someone who loves colonoscopies.
🤣🤣🤣 oh my god can all comments be like this
Awe I'm so glad you are feeling better!
Great to hear that you're on the mend, Kackie, after such a miserable time! 👍😊
Glad you’re feeling better! Can’t wait for the try on video!
So glad you are on the mend. 😊 Did you see Kiki's latest YT upload? Bless her heart, she looked so uncomfortable talking with her "new" voice, even though she sounds lovely. OMG, Simon is adorable!
I was just watching it! Bless her ❤️
So happy for you ! And I love your vlogs! If you made one daily I would watch it !
I understand why the pain scale exists, but I hate it. Especially when they specify "10 being the worst pain you've ever felt". In that case most things wouldn't even be a 5 but that doesn't mean I'm cool with a constant 4. Although now with fibromyalgia my pain scale is wildly and unpredictably skewed. Like today I'm going for another round of prolotherapy, which has helped overall, and sometimes it's a 1 and other times it an 8 (thankfully most of the time it's near the 1).
100%
@@kackie I think I jinxed the prolotherapy it's closer to the 8 so far, but it normally decreases after meds & ice.
So glad you’re feeling better! GI distress is so upsetting & scary.
Glad you’re feeling better
"turns out to be The Barefoot Contessa" 😂 I'm always late to see your videos but glad you're going to slow down to better be able to enjoy your life.
I made a caprese when we were staying with my in-laws and they literally looked at me like I was a serial killer haha. Such a good dish. Now I need to run to the grocery store. My 3 year old always eats all my good mozzarella 😭
Glad to hear you're feeling better :) and nice to see the vlog on the main channel. That cheesy lunch looked so good, I'm sooo jelly, my lactose intolerance won't let me have that lol
Is great to see you doing better - also yay for no invasive camera!
I really like stoneyfield, but if you want to try something more zesty - White Mountain Bulgarian yogurt is a great dose of probiotics
I’ve had several colonoscopies since I have IBS. The prep is so bad that I never can finish it. Be thankful that you don’t have to do it! Last year, I had Covid and it destroyed my whole digestive system. I took a cocktail of probiotics, pepto, Zofran, and Prilosec everyday for three months. I couldn’t eat anything and if I did, it didn’t come out good. Needless to say I lost a lot of weight. It’s terrible when your digestion is messed up, so take the time to take care of yourself!
I enjoy your videos being on one channel. But I’m subscribed to both so I’ll always watch all of them.
wow that yard space.. I could cry. start a garden! roll around in the grass! get a sandbox! the possibilities are endless.
can you tell I've lived in cities for too long now? give me a YARD damnit
Hahahahaha I have one small reservation. Tiiiiicks.
Stiff back and hips could be from Ibs or inflamed intestines. My sister and I have both suffered from these symptoms. Since you’ve been dealing with stomach issues for a week that’s probably all it is. It sucks and I have no remedies to recommend except for as you heal it will go away🙁I hope you continue to get better and feel well.
So glad you're back and feeling a bit better. 💕
Thank you! So am I 😅
@@kackie oh, and check out "The nap ministry" if resting makes you feel like a waste of space (so relatable).
@@clairantoine8230 a book?
@@kackie sorry about that! On Instagram @TheNapMinistry
So happy you feel better so scary! Please share new house furniture-I’m moving cross country later this year and starting basically fresh!
OMG I am so happy for you! This is wild! I had a bad reaction to amoxcicillin (sp)... and I am afraid I can never take it again because it was AWFUL! I never had that issue before... but same thing - awful GI symptoms for months... for me the only thing that made it better was a bland diet and probiotics... it was not as severe as yours, but landed me in the hospital and my docs office 3 times in 2020. Anyway, likely not at all the same, but so similar I had to say something! Cannot wait to see the new view! woot!
Yeah they said next time I’m on amoxicillin to just take probiotics? I’m like are you sure? This felt more serious than that... 🤷🏼♀️
Have you found any good gluten free breads? Most of the time I’m good with out but sometimes I really just want a sandwich! I have sugar issues as well & most gf breads make up for the gluten with a shit ton of unnecessary sugar!
Also you know I’m about the vlog life
The dresser at the end looks great. Do you mind sharing where it's from?
Oh I wish I knew. We bought it off a friend like 7 or 8 years ago 😕
❤️🌼❤️
I was just going to say lyme disease! My symptoms were similar. I didn't know i had been bitten and never had the bulls eye. I ended up going to a chiropractor and she put me on a round of blood tests. If they suggest Western Blot, it is 50% inconclusive, I tested negative for it. I went to an ILADS doctor who also knows about the different blood tests.
Nice video verry good.
I wasn’t gonna say anything but now that you don’t have to get a colonoscopy, I had a dual colonoscopy/endoscopy and it was one of the worst experiences of my memory. So yay you don’t have to do that!
I had the same, but was sedated. Please tell me you weren’t awake for it or I will scream.
@@its_me_jen_jen9204 ha! I was sedated too but the after-effects were so painful.
@@StateofKait You poor thing. Bless your whole entire heart (and butt!).
@@its_me_jen_jen9204 hahahahaha!
Colonoscopy was 10/10 not fun times neither the drink or self enema 🤣
