In this video we will put both phones through a series of tests to help you discover which one is going to be the better option for you! The Galaxy S10 Plus is rocking the snapdragon 855 and 8GB of ram and the Apple iPhone XS Max is rocking an Apple A12 Bionic chip with 4GB of ram! You are using the In Display Fringerprint Reader wrong!! Well not just you, every tech reviewer too!(except TechTalkTv) All you need to do is to tap it. Not tap and hold!
not to mention he doesn't even put his finger on top of the sensor
his finger is way off and he blames the phone
Well actually you are right but that doesn't mean it's slow only bcs of the animations I have a first gen traditional finger print scanner and it still unlocks with a tap but it's slow
In real life, most of the people don't tap it, because it is more comfortable to keep holding it
Samsung made it wrong they need to do it same speed when you tap and when you hold...holding is the more logic way espicially when using the phone with one hand...and the ohone is slippery...they need to update it to work same speed

Sure iPhone people, keep your iPhone "for the reliability and optimization" of iOS, I'm willing to sacrifice a pretty much non existent drop in OS performance so I can have
A better looking build,
A MUCH better looking screen,
A bigger battery with more power modes to save even more battery if needed,
An app drawer with a clean homescreen so I can actually see my wallpaper, along with all of the other homescreen customization options,
A fingerprint scanner that is under the screen
A better back camera with more shooting modes, better stabilization, and better slow motion video.
A better front camera, with 4k video recording.
A better integration with Google and all of its services, and it's assistant which dominates Siri
A USB-C port, which is on pretty much everything now, except for the iPhone,
A better more premium looking color selection (I chose prism white, it's stunning, as expected),
An SD Card slot so I can add onto the base storage which is already twice what the iPhone's base storage is,
The ability to wirelessly charge my headphones and watch with my phone,
And a headphone Jack.

Cade Tickle I agree but the one thing I can say Samsung needs to work on is how relevant this same phone will be in 5 to 6 years. As an iPhone user if Samsung can get up to par with updates and stuff Apple will be in trouble. In this day and time I need a phone that will be relevant for years because they are getting so freakishly expensive.

I wouldn’t say a MUCH better screen. I went from the Note 8 to the XS max, and I will say the XS max looks better. Can’t imagine the s10 destroys the note 8 screen. Until the S10 came out, the iPhone was winning all of the screen tests
@@mikechivy No. A MUCH better screen. I've had the Galaxy S8+, S9+, and now the S10+, and the S10+ blows the S9+ screen out of the water, which already was better than the screen on the iPhone (and the Note 8). It's better. Samsung is not going to make and give Apple the better display, they are going to keep their best screens for themselves. The S10 panel is MUCH brighter, capable of 1200 Nits of Brightness compared to the iPhone XS Max (725 Nits), MUCH higher resolution at 526 ppi, vs the iPhone's 458 ppi, capable of true Quad HD and then some, (which has been almost standard on android flagships since like 2014). The S10 panel is much more saturated and punchier too, which is preference, because apparently some people like the flat, washed out, gray tones on the iPhone because they are more "true to life", well guess what real life is boring and I want saturation. It's better.

Iphone is still boss to me and will last longer and stay stabile for longer, i appreciate everything Samsung does and develops, but i can’t leave the optimization and accuracy and stability of IOS, just love it and love my Iphone.

It’s true for me and you, but it can be different for other people, i get people who prefer android as well as i get people who prefer IOS. Both are great in there own ways.
Yeah I love both I just switched from my iPhone x to the S10+ but only cause I've had software problems. Like I put brightness all down and it called 911 4 times... also took 2 hours with the ape people to set me up. But overall it's a good os and stable. I'd recommend both. Can't go wrong with either. I mainly like apple for the iPads. So I use Samsung as my phone and apple as a tablet then Microsoft for gaming and designing.
The iPhone Hands down! is is good for simplicity and basics to get done through the day. It will always get the day to day tasks done. I just go android cause I like customizing and modifying to cater my tech needs. It's gotten to the point where you really cannot go wrong with either. Just nit picky preferences at this point.

It depends on the person. If you like animations, the XS Max is great. I am using the XS Max because I am an “iPhone-animation” person. If you don’t care about animations, Samsung is great. I do care about them that’s why I use an iPhone XS Max, but they are both amazing!
The magic of Android also is the fact that you can literally customize the animation speed, so if you want smoother, more fluid animations, you can have them, if you want snappy fast almost invisible animations, you can have them.
The true sensible middle answer. It’s not that the phone is faster, it’s there esthetic. You have sense👍🏼.

I'm the ultrasonic scanner is the most convenient and most secure way to unlock your phone. You don't have to pick up your phone or look at it or lean into it just to unlock. All you have to do is tap and go.

Ur using the fingerprint scanner wrong. You just have to tap it and release it
The tap has to be extremely perfect on the sensor or it vibrates and gives you a notice to press harder
I am still using the S7 edge and I'm loving it. I'm thinking to upgrade it this year. Can you suggest me wether I should upgrade for the S10 or the later NOTE10?

Note is a phablet, go for S10, that one is still a managable phone. I wouldn’t want to be a guy with such a massive phone to carry anywhere, women haven purses and the Note i a purse phone.

nah not really still can’t beat the stability and smoothness of iphones, the only reason it looks slower is because samsung has really jumpy animations and iphones have slower more thought out ones

App loading times are always little bit better on android phones for some reason (excluding games) than IOS, still i did not understand the reason as iOS apps are more polished🤔
Games doesnt load faster anymore, s10 won 2/4 games in this test.. also in xeetechcare vid s10 won subway surfers, death trigger, pinout, smash hit etc

That's exactly right. iPhone only wins with games, but only half of the time now. Also, I think GPU is a bit better with iPhone. Galaxy wins in everywhere else.

This is kind of the thing about Apples amazing silicon design - I love the SoC details as much as any nerd, but things like this make me wonder what it really gets us when it's hidden behind iOS's animations, and going back through apps takes a hit because of their RAM frugality
tipoomaster if you turn on “reduce motion” in settings which gets rid of animations... it is SO fast. Almost too fast that it’s jarring. At least the transition is smooth as it “dissolves” but yeah, pretty insane.

Two great phones! I still like my xs max though. Samsung has passed Apple this time but imagine if both phones had the same ram. All I ask for from Apple is multitasking and home screen customization. The notch or the cutout is not a big deal to me either.
Would be more informative to show practical uses, such as using maps apps, playing music, and speaking to the phone using Siri, Google, and Bixby.
I change my phone every year or so as I like all the new tech. but if you're happy to stick with old models, I can see iOS being your thing...

Try nova launcher, my s10 opens death trigger and subway surfers first lol that could be the reason maybe I should test myself (I don't get those animation stutters)

Test with heavy applications and day-to-day functions! We do not want to know which smartphone opens the calendar, the clock or the calculator first, are simple and small apps that do not require powerful hardware for this!

Geekbench isn't the best benchmark to show overall performance, it might be better to try antutu. I could care less who wins but I feel that it will be more accurate to show antutu scores instead

All these videos show is that either phone is way more phone than about 99% of consumers need. Both phones will do everything you need to do very, very quickly. I also think your conclusions are subjective. Tenths of a second aren't going to make or break you in day to day use. Give them both a year of use then try the speed test again. The Android phone will have slowed way down and the battery life will have deteriorated much more than the iPhone.

I don't trust these types of comparisons when done by hand as there is human error, such as a boot up, or when you touch to open an app, it may feel like you did it at the same time but most likely was not.
Anthony Hernandez it’s better than nothing and it’s more realistic since you use the phone like that in real life
The reality of it is that speed tests between Android and IOS are flawed because although on the face of it the apps look the same they might actually be different sizes so load times would be affected. iOS only needs to cater for IPhones with little variation in specs. Android apps need to work on every phone taking onto account every processor , ram amount , ram speed , display resolution and lots of other factors. I think is shows that Android is pretty well optimised considering the multiple variations it has to cope with.
My iPhone 7 plus have similar single core score 3500 as samsung 10 plus

I don’t know why people argue about which phone is better both phones are amazing get which one you like the iPhone isn’t laggy it’s just smoother and of course apps are going load faster when the apps pre load and the phone has way more ram
If you are right handed, then the Xs Max would probably be slightly faster.
