Have been following Jordy for a couple of years, he is a legend, furthermore, he is always having FUN when doing his artistry. We should all be having fun when making something…right. Thanks for your contributions to my FUN days. For a different look, maybe transpose the template. Then the images would be left and right leaning. I’m pretty sure that “Rapid Resizer” software would do that.
It would allow for “options”. I did test the Rapid Resizer program, in their edit mode they have a “mirror” option. It does work…however, it does flip the savey builds logo image. Take care.
I don't have an angle grinder. But I really like the idea. So I cut a tree with my jigsaw and used an oscillating saw with a grout blade. I use Spanish cedar (very soft). I tried Moncoro (very hard) and it was way too much work. It leaves a very rough finish. I stained it with a dark water based stain. Then I kind of smudged a dark green acrylic paint on it so that the dark stain shows through. Then I uses a plastic sucker stick to apply little different color dots like ornaments. Very rustic looking. Thanks for the idea
@@mikehinson4062 That's awesome! Thanks for letting me know. These trees have been super popular this year and people really seem to enjoy making them. As did I! Glad to hear kids are enjoying them too!
Very artistic, I bought a set of wood grinding wheels (amazon) for my right angle (green) grinder. It does wear your arm down. You are great original youtuber, giving credit to others and you deserve much credit yourself.
@stephanmaier2172 I just realized that UA-cam started auto dubbing my videos. Just curious, would you prefer to hear it in my real voice but in English?
It's not nice to trick people into carving like that! ( just kidding) It's super easy to get addicted to it 😂. Those trees are super fun to make; you can do so many things to make them your style. Jordy @CarvingFusion is an inspiration to follow, and as he usually says "Don't forget to sign your pieces!"

Thanks! I make these templates on inkscape which has a mirror feature. hmmm Maybe I should add that to my patreon. Good Idea.

I use a small pneumatic right angle grinder with a 2 inch roloc sanding disc. If you put a regulator on the line it works well too.
Love these trees!
Absolutely very interesting thanks for sharing.
Awesome jobs.
You did an awesome job on those trees! I’ll have to agree with your wife…. I like all of them! Thank you for sharing! Cheers
Thanks!

That's really creative! Great job!
@@savvybuilds I have made 4 of them. I let the neighbor kids decorate them with the little dots as they want and gave them to them. Very rewarding.

It might be easier (and safer) to use a rotary tool for this type of carving.
A cool idea would be to mix a tube of glitter in a small batch of polyurethane and coat the tree with it.
That is actually an interesting idea. Thanks!
what is the "grit" on the grinder?
Sehr schön .
Wo findet man einen plan dafür ?
Thank you! patreon.com/SavvyBuilds
I still think the safety police are on alert.
Tolles Video aber die ki stimme ist unmöglich
That's my real voice lol.

Hahaha I tricked myself too! I didn't think about signing them. I should look into getting a branding iron.
