W126 Mercedes 300SD Engine Cooling System Maintenance - Part 2

In part 2 I continue the overhaul of the engine's cooling system.
The car has been running a little warm lately. I discovered a fairly
large temperature difference between the upper and lower
radiator hoses so I decided to replace the thermostat. Low
and behold, things get complicated when I start breaking corroded
bolts. I purchased new thermostat and water pump housings on line and cleaned them up for installation.
