To be honest, I don't think any company would have the nerve to release these buds for $80 in their current state if they didn't have the Beats logo on them. The bang for the buck just isn't there.
-- No ANC
-- No transparency mode
-- No IP rating
-- No USB cable in the box
-- No battery in the case
You said in another comment that these were for people who didn't follow reviewers, and I think that's right. If you go with Soundcore, JBL, TOZO, EarFun, or a host of other companies, you could get earbuds like these for $20. And even some of *those* would have some form of ANC.

Ron those earphones don’t have a noise cancellation or transparency mode. One of the tradeoffs for being a budget pair of Beats. I don’t know why it shows up on the Android app.

Deciding between these and the OnePlus Buds 3, just want the better quality sound irrespective of the money value or the rest of the technical specs. Mind suggesting which one to go with?
IMO, go with the OnePlus Buds 3.

I asked for these so def thumbed u up... these sound terrible to me though😢. I never switched the tips though but these sounded super cheap to me. I returned these to target. When u get a chance can u put the OnePlus buds 3 against the pixel buds pro. The pixel buds are loudest when u make your own eq in the app

The sound was low when I got them 3 days ago, but I changed the sound so now’s it normal sound and they work for me. The ear tips are kinda rough on the ears
These don't have ANC or Ambient modes never will. You should know that. 😔🇺🇸

I think Apple/Beats figured that the branding would be sufficient to compete in this budget tier amongst consumers who dont't really follow the reviews.
I'm no audiophile and lol I actually use raycon products. But I still understand that there are lesser known brands at the price point that offer good features. That said I didnt jump into the tech reviewer vids or reddit until maybe a couple yrs ago.
So I think they stripped down the features(even basic stuff like the battery) just to bring the costs down to max out profits. They might be strong enough as a name for it not to hurt them.
