Had 3 zander and about 20 perch biggest 1 was over 1lb 30cm also lost a pike on the finesse fillet craw 4cm. Nearly every bite came on the drop using a 2gram jig head for that super slow fall 😁 another great vid Dan
@@pikeandperch the reason why I asked is because I bought one of their spinning reels and although I have 2 expensive Shimano reels my kasking reel isn’t that far behind …… especially for the price and over three quarters cheaper !! Love mine too …. Never used a bait finesse set up … maybe one day !! All the best to ya buddy & loving all the videos🎣👍🏽😀
Try a session with spinner lures only, surely you gonna get loads of fish,try different sizes too,these days they make them in all the possible sizes and they can catch you anything absolutely anything, from tiny perch to catfish.Great video btw again.take care mate

Probably a stupid question due to your videos setup and gear, but have you ever done carp fishing or course? Or have you always been on a predator fishing style?
Funny that ive tried the same lure in white today no avail, swapped it for a green curly tail and got two little ones and one just short of a pound, nice channel by the way.
2 inch Vibroworms do very well for perch on my local canal, I'm at the arse end of the lake district, for some reason on the pike front I only seem to catch Jack's until it gets a bit colder then I get the bigger fellas.

I has 21 perch today, in 2hrs. The 4cm filet craw is amazing on a 4g jig.
They say seafood senc. I say peanut better lol.
In 1 hr 30 mins I caught 45 perch on a 4.5 cm lure perch fishing is always good for me

Do you use a BFS spool on your reel? I'm looking at a 3-15 gram rod, and I can't decide if I should get the spinning or the casting....

It's a dedicated bfs reel, not a baitcaster with a bfs spool. Kastking Zephyr
