Easy to follow DIY guide! Great work Brenno, thanks!!
Just what I needed for my 76 series, thank you mate!
another great How To video. Keep up the good work.
What about connecting the DC to DC charger to the second battery in the vehicle. Anyone with basic wiring skills can run a wire from main battery to a charger. This video is only half complete. What about how to connect the charger to the additional battery and still have everything else work of the second battery?
Hi there,
We have a variety of videos like this available, you can find one more suitable here - ua-cam.com/video/c-0XhB19of4/v-deo.htmlsi=HzjlJby1qOGT39lQ

Awesome class! Just have one question: can i connect a positive pole from the main battery and one cable connected to the chassi into the dc/dc charger? Or should I have both coming from the main battery? Thank you!
Hi there,
We would recommend having both from the battery for less voltage drop.
Cheers, Courtney
@@4wdsupacentreAu thank you! We bought the appliances and are going to install them today
Is there an ignition wire needed?
Hi there,
Thank you for the comment, we can confirm that it would be required for connections charging via the alternator.
Regards, Andrew
Can I use the 25 amp wiring kit for the 40 amp dc dc charger ?
Hi there,
The DCDC charger can draw upto 40A from your vehicle if this has enough power to provide. This would blow the fuse if this exceeds the 35A draw from the wiring kit.
Regards, Courtney
what amp midi fuse
Hi there,
For our 25A DCDC chargers we would recommend anything over 25A and with our 40A DCDC chargers we recommend over 40A.
Regards, Courtney
What if I have a smart alternator??
Hi there,
This setup would be suitable for a smart alternator.
Cheers, Courtney
Am not sure about that as this set up does not include an ignition wire unless you have a different solution??
You’re dcdc requires ignition source (blue wire)
Do you even know your own product before giving misleading information!
@@joshangel8020 it does lol
@@joshangel8020 you can run the blue wire to any terminal in your fuse box that only has power when engine is running.
Do we need to send any wire to alternator??
Hi there,
This is not necessary as it gathers power from the alternator via the vehicles battery.
Cheers, Courtney
