- Beautiful is all it takes to describe this 1965 Peterbilt 351 and live stock trailer belonging to Eastside Transport but marked with DeJager on the doors. This was seen at the Truckin' For Kids Truck Show in Irwindale, California on Saturday October 6th., 2018.

Badass truck. Take the headache rack/deck plate off and add a 36" flat top bunk and a big texas bumper and it would be perfect.
Absolutely outstanding combo ya have there all shined up and lookin' handsome. Terrific job of keepin' it in truck show condition. The 351 has to be my favourite model, I've wanted one since as long as I can remember.

That's what trucks supposed to be ... You see that front bumper?? Its not laying on the damn ground ... Perfect fit.. Goes to show you dont have to put stupid crap on trucks... That truck use to be a model for future trucks.. Not anymore.. Pure gold.. KW and pete deserve period correct parts not this crap.. And no damn fiberglass.. Chrome and steel.. Absolutely a factory built diamond..

Yes Lewie, and she had a pretty savvy owner too. He commented to me that he liked my hat, that "It made a statement". Of course I offered to make him a fair trade of my hat for his truck....he didn't bite. Bummer for me.

Good looking truck? Why are the three middle cab lights blacked out and the outside two are still amber?
It's an old-school truckers thing where they'd run green clearance lights in the center and ambers on the outsides. Now just so you know, I'm colorblind. I can tell the center lights are darker than the outer ones, but I can't tell whether black or green, so my guess is that they are green because that was the tradition back in the day.
